considering this smoker.. I haven't run a vertical in years but my camp chef took a dump this weekend so thinking about a new one. I never ran a water pan in any of my old verticals, wondering why this one has to have one.
How do you clean out ash pot? Vacumme Only? Also, when I did my burn off, there were flames coming up from under the flame tamer and out the sides..Kinda scared me😮 Is this Normal? Sorry for So Many Questions 😊
I love the questions. I will definitely do my best to answer them. I was wondering about cleaning the ash pot also and just use a small hand vacuum. Flames came out of mine too from burning off the factory oil. I haven’t had that issue sense. I hope I was able to help you out. Thanks for watching.
@@blackatlasgoingson thanks, maybe that's why they were Soooooo big, it was coming out from the flame tamer box, and I kept opening the pellet hopper lid thinking it was about to catch on fire...Thankfully it didn't 🙌✝️🙌 Merry Christmas ✝️🎄🎅🤶🎁🎄and Thank you Soooooo Much for answering my questions 🥰
Question, if you don't care. I've smoked on a masterbuilt electric smoker for six years. I'm wanting to move up now, to a bigger smoker. I would like to begin doing bigger meat
@@Sethbrews I knew that it had a flame in the pot,it was just coming out and up from around the flame tamer box, just didn't know it came out that much
Thank you very much for watching. I had a vertical 30 inch Masterbuilt electric for about 6 or 7 years and when it died I picked this one up from Walmart. I love it. I think I am going to do a 6 month review in a few weeks. I use it all the time and have not had any problems or issues with it. Sorry for the long answer but, Yes I would definitely recommend getting this Smoker.
@@blackatlasgoingson Thanks for responding to my question sir. I've had no issues or problems with my masterbuilt. It's just time to move up in class. Wanting to broaden my skills with better equipment now. Again, thanks for giving me an answer. Have a blessed day, and let's get smoking something!!

Thanks for all the info 💪🏾
Thank you for taking the time to watch it.
I smoke on a off set smoker I love it. I wanted to buy this exact one to start with pellets. The amount of space looks amazing
The space is huge. It takes a while to go through the pellets.
Just completed putting mine together watch your video. Thanks such a great video.
Thank you so much. I’m glad you appreciated it.

It doesn’t have to have it. It can be taken out but it is there to keep moisture circulating in the smoker so the food does not dry out.
Just won one of these smokers at my company's xmas party raffle, woo-hoo 😂 14:38
Good video, stick with it brother!
Appreciate you watching the video. Thank you so much.

Solid information brother

Did yours show flames in the burn pot while burning off?
Yes. There are definitely flames in the burn pot during cooking.
That's how a pellet smoker works. By burning the pellets. 🤔
Mine did, kinda scared me...was wondering if this is normal🙈

@@leisamitchell8278 oh yeah! Nothing to worry about there! The flames come pretty high out when it has a lot of pellets in the pot 😁
I've been looking at this unit. Five months after you made this video. Are you still happy with this until? Would this be a good next step up? Thanks!
