Good stuff. All makes sense. I'm in my ninth decade, and I find that what cured itself in hours when young now takes weeks and sometimes months to get better . . . but, it does. The improvement is almost imperceptible on a daily basis, but week by week the pain diminishes and the mobility improves. This self-massage is a splendid addition to the many good chiropractor videos available online.
I love the content! Showed my wife and I have a feeling like she is more receptive to hearing about the content from you then from me! Thank you, keep up the good work!
Fantastic, thank you, it makes my physio exercises for the busitis easier because the muscles are stretched and softened ... and shows me that my physiotherapist is not great at all ... will change to another.
Great! Thanks for posting this. The shoulder is an amazing joint. Sometimes my shouler hurts & I'll try this if it does. Is this also a preventative technique?
Yes, massage is a great tool to use for preventative measures, or even if you just have sore muscles from working out! Fingers crossed you don't experience bursitis!
Many Thanks for the great video, my problem is my shoulder pain is due to very heavy benching, when I try and find and get into these grooves and holes it isn't possible as it's just bulk muscle over them. I have a bit of pain during the day and not full mobility but at night when attempting to sleep it's a whole level of increased pain...
Yes, It can be a challenge when massaging yourself or individuals with larger muscles. You can try laying face down on the floor using a lacrosse ball (so, using your body weight instead of hand strength) and getting into the deltiod muscles that way can work. Sleeping is always the worst! try propping it up with a pillow and lay on the unaffected side. Also, some people find vascular flushing (Heat & ice contrast) before bed helps too.
@@lukebyerley2395 thank you for your comment. I was working 2 massage jobs during my shoulder bursitis, I was overusing it and I never gave it a chance to rest. I did massage, physio, chiropractic, and after a month of that, I went for a cortisone injection. It cleared up 1 week later and hasn’t been back since.
Great information!
Glad so you think so!

Thank you for this, really helpful! When you had your bursitis, did it eventually clear up? What else did you do as well as these massages?
