I visited St Lucia in 2011 and stayed at Jalousie Plantation villa (now known as Sugar Beach) which is located in the Soufriere rainforest where the Unesco World Heritage Grand Tetons are. The villa, the fresh food, the service, the view, the tree top spa was ABSOLUTELY outstanding!!! 😍. That villa is still the litmus test that I judge other resorts. Also visited Martha's Table, a local chef of home cook food😋. Very quiet and relaxing vacation. I haven't been back since 2011, but I hope the villa hasn't changed now that it has new mgmt.
Great list! My husband and I honeymooned at Serenity at Coconut Bay. We highly recommend it! If you go, pls make sure you hit the jerk shack at their sister resort across the street! 🤤
17# Hyatt Zilara visited June 2022 to celebrate my 50th birthday. I must admit the resort was beautiful. My cousins and I experienced an amazing 5 days. The night life ended early on the adults side. The only other issue was a maintenance issue. It rained one day and areas in the building near elevators were leaking. The leaking did not affect rooms. Overall the rooms were nice, staff showed the super service from the heart, and the food was excellent. Definitely planning on visiting again.
I lot of places on this list was in the Dominican Republic. I will have to add it to my list of places to visit..One of these islands will be a place l live eventually not just visit🙏🏾
I can't believe that the most beautiful island and beach in the world isn't on this list! Anguilla is by the far the most beautiful and romantic island period! The beaches are amazing! But special shoutout to Ocean Point Sonesta in St.Marteen, it's a beautiful resort, with an amazing beach with great service and people.

I only fly to Caribbean islands where American based airlines fly into. Had a HORRRRRRRIBLE experience recently with a Caribbean airline and it was bad enough for me to never want to try it again nor another Caribbean airline.
Most of these on this list CAN'T beat Couples Resorts in Jamaica (take it from someone who has visited a lot of these places). Couples Resorts, like the name suggests, is exclusively for Couples.
Peoples. " Remember" Those mentioned Resorts/Spa Hotels Getaway vacations Spots come with a $$$$ cost.. that worth every $$$$. Anyone that work up in the cold north americans markets. You should go away, and stop the complaining. I do the Ritz also.
