- in this video I made a terrarium in a picture frame (shadow box) living wall terrarium.
the main concept of this project is to bring nature home in smaller scales.
having such miniature landscapes not only add beauty to your living scapes, also the visual effects like natural light or FLOWING water, help reduces stress levels and improve moods.

Stunning! Do you have an update? I’m curious if you ended up needing more ventilation to prevent mold.
Also did you use any kind of rot resistant wood or any kind of special wood?
You could just leave the door open for a few hours here and there couldnt you?
It's art i love it 😍
That looks amazing! My only question is how you’ll avoid mould from growing within the case, as it seems like that could become a major problem quite quickly.
I’d love to build this myself, but I’d be concerned that it’d be hard to maintain looking good over the long term.
Проветривать. Попробуйте содержать мох и растение в закрытом контейнере, там возникнут те же проблемы))))
What a lovely green on the wall! Plz keep on making update videos on this one!
Thank you
I'll post an update video after a month
Очень вдохновляет❤

Bring nature to home, and bring polution to out home.
Wonderful..... just awesome..... simple yet beautiful...
Thank you so much🙂
Amazing, you definitely know what’s good!! 🤍
Thank you 🙂
Job well done sir. You definitely have a great gift!
Thank you so much
magnifico
Thanks
Awsome! Congrate! Please I have a question, on some videos you use something like 70% black soil 30% coco powder. On this video you use the opposite proportion, why is that? thank you!!!!
Thanks
On other videos I sticked soil mix on glass so I used 70% blacksoil to increase the stickiness. In this setup I used drain cell which holds the substrate mix very well , also I wanted to make it lightweight.
Very Outstanding!!!!
Thanks
@@langdiy no problem
wow bro beautiful
Thank you🙂
cool!!!! but next time if you use wood glue take the one with the blue lid (its water poroof)
Ok🙂 thanks
好棒!
我也想要做一個!!!
Thanks😊
Stunning and beautiful!!! I love the carpet of green with those pops of color 😊😊😊
Thanks so much! 😊
@@langdiy you are welcome 🤗
Wonderful job- very well done- from where do you get the moss for yr terrariums / includingthe selaginella ? Any reason you added the green cord at the beginning? Thanks
🌻🌻🌻
🙂
You are a surgeon.
When comes the update of the rain terrarium??? 😱😍
Soon🙂
I love this design. Very lovely! Also will be accessible for maintenance. Is the light functioning well in the damp environment? I am curious about it, as I have similar ones for my cupboards, but mine are not water resistant.
Thank you, a light is functioning very well. mine is weather proof. I've used non water resistant lights in similar damp setups and it also worked fine.
@@langdiy thank you very much for your reply, I am glad that this kind of light can work well in such a terrarium.
Really beautiful! You make me want to make one myself haha. Is the cabinet light strong enough to sustain the plants though?
Thank you
Yes cabinet light is strong enough to sustain the plants
Nice work. Hope we get an update after a couple of months :)
I'll post an update after a month
Where do you purchase the drain cell mat?
Gardening stores and online marketplaces
May I ask what kind of mats they work the substrate into? I said I saw them in another video of yours from the rainforest
It's called drain cell mat
@@langdiy Where can I buy them 🤷🏽
Amazing, I have a question, what type of glue you use(the black one) and what type of kit for the frame you use?
Thank you
It's black silicone glue, another one is clear silicone. for frame I used an inch thick wooden beat, purchased from hardware store
@@langdiy thnks man al the best to you
may i know full list of plant name used including fern
This is amazing, where do you get your moss from??
From aquascaping stores and sometimes from wild also
Hey Lang, love your Channel and Scapes. I plan on recreating this at home, but cannot find the "20mm drain cell mat" that you used, did you buy it online by any chance and have a link? cheers
Thank you
I bought drain cell mat from gardening shops. If aren't able to find drain cell mat, you can also use egg crate fish tank divider
Thank you so much fish tank dividers worked! @@langdiy
nice🔥❤
I have some questions
What is the green rope used for?
How many days do you urinate once?
Are other mosses used for this box?
Thank you for your answer❤
Green rope wicks water from the drip collection tray
I mist the moss thrice a week
I used Only fern moss
@@langdiy thank you brother💯🔥
This is amazing!! Where can I find that drain cell mat??
Online marketplaces
@@langdiy one more question; is enclosing it necessary or is that a preference?
I have a question. Where can I buy the drain cell?
Is the cleaning process a nightmare for this?
No it's easy to clean
