Good question! I’d say it depends on the size of the pictureframe. In my case there was very little space left between te plants and the front plane of glass, making it that the plants kind of get wedged into place. If you leave more space some bigger plants might fall over and you should let them root first or keep them in place with superglue or fishinglune or something. Goodluck!
