What amazes me the most is how the "pack" seems to know when you bring a sick or troubled dog home that they need to greet her very gently. That just shows me what an amazing man you are with animals and what heartwarming gift you have. 🤗

I have watched you and your children constantly for weeks and know your great guided love in what you are doing. I bumped into you near the time I had to let go of my dearest Charley girl after 8 years since she was a little ball of fur. It was a magical connection that changed both our lives, and which I have never grieved so hard: the greatest joy and gift of love, ever. THANK YOU AND YOUR DEAR CHILDREN!!!

Lee...I'm sure you are probably aware, but I wanted to share with you that Jackson Galaxy has a wonderful B-12 supplement that would probably benefit Mildred's back legs, in regenerating the nerves. Very beneficial in my kitty that had neuropathy related to diabetes. Just FYI!😊

Ok I'm sitting at my desk at work crying...I don't see how anyone could not feed their dog...people are the worst but this man is an angel on earth....
For the life of me; I cannot understand how anyone could starve a beautiful soul like Mildred.
I'm so happy for Millie, but I cried a little once again when you mentioned Tony. All your dogs are so lucky to have you, and you are so lucky to have so much love around you from all of them. Your sanctuary is a little piece of heaven for all of your animals.

There should be a whole world of Lees ….. what you do for these beautiful animals of God is truly a blessing. I cry when watching your videos both from sadness caused by humans who mistreat and by the joy and love you give each one of them. Just a gift to watch. 💕

I have been binge watching Asher House videos. There have been very few that haven't made me cry at least once. Lee I am convinced you are an angel on earth, put hear to help abused and neglected animals. Thank you so much for all you do.

Yes please! It would be beneficial to see the growing process of bringing a precious baby like Millie back to her full life 💗 we know it’s a slow & tedious process, and they all grow their strength on their own time for us to physically see. It would be nice to see her developing new aura of love 🥰
Agreed. Like weekly would be my preference. This video’s update portion is already a bit old, I think. She is really the ambassador of the Asher House right now, going from lowest of lows to tremendous high (hopefully).
@@SacredArcana I agree. I had a foster dog (boxer staffie mix) who was abandoned at 6 months old and spent the next 18 months in a shelter. He had started self harming so I took him in until they could find a forever home for him. He wasn't anywhere near as bad as Millie, but he was mentally in a bad place. The first day we went on 10 walks just to help with the nervous energy. He was clever and wanted to please though so house training was easy, he messed in the house the first couple of days but regular walks and watching my other dog showed him where and when was appropriate. He was just wild though and it took months to get his commands and routine. Then we realised he was at his forever home. He was just so happy and chilled, and loved everyone and everything. So I adopted him and todays the 5th anniversary of his gotcha day.

Second, you my friend are so very caring and loving and so gentle with her,you are in the right spot. You where born to do this, this is your mission for life this is your calling, your purpose. To see her tail wiggle just that tiny bit when she came out of the car the other pups greet her was priceless.
May God bless you Lee Asher for rescuing this sweet, sad, starving dog and giving her a loving home with 30 siblings. I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Tony; it is heartbreaking to lose a dog. May the "person" who starved and neglected Millie rot in hell, or at least rot in prison!

What a blessing for her and the pack after Tony's passing 😢. His story was diametrically as serious and it feels like he was saying "She needs you" from the paradise over the rainbow bridge.

Also..I can’t even IMAGINE her when she first came in..they said she actually put on some weight from when she first arrived, and was unable to walk at all!🥺 I woulda thought it physically impossible to be any worse than this alive🤯 So glad she’s gonna have the best life she could of ever imagined, in her forever home now!! Thank you for your update! She was very close to death when the veterinarians treated her. I'm so thankful you have her Lee! You are exactly what she needed, unconditional love💙
So many "shelters" would have killed her.
Apparently if she had been taken in just one day later she would not have lived, and Lee said they did not even know if she would make it through the night. I believe he gave her the will to live.

I will never understand how anyone can treat an animal this way. Millie is doing so well and it was good to go back to see how far she's come. Great job SOBSC in looking after her in the acute phase and she's so at home now with you and the pack. Love and light Lee.x

My god, that poor baby! Seeing them all cheering as she walked out into the sunshine with Lee made me ugly cry. What wonderful people they all were, each of them loved and cared so much. I'm so glad that beautiful baby gets a new shot at happiness and health ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Mildred has to be one of my favorite stories. I just love her, and I think she is amazing!! Her face is just so resigned to her fate. If I hadn't seen videos of her since she's been with you, I'd say she didn't have much time at all. Even though she has so many people on her side, just looking at her here in the beginning, is so sad. All these vet techs love Lee so much, and they know she's going to the best place with the most hope for her survival and recovery. Doesn't it seem like Tony brought Mildred to Lee? I sure do.
Mildred is looking so much more filled out, agile, but best of all happy from all the love she receives and gives in return.

When you first posted about rescuing Millie, my heart ached at the condition she was in. But at the same time I was so happy you took her in. Her precious face looks almost identical to my English Mastiff, Maggie. I guess that's why she touched my heart the way she did. She is looking so much better; putting on weight and moving around so well. Please keep doing periodic updates on her ❤️
My heart broke as well because she reminds me so much of my English mastiff Matilda who passed away three years ago. I’m just over joyed Millie was rescued and will live a happy rest of her life. To think some awful person treated Millie like that breaks my heart. I would do anything to have my Matilda back ❤.

I was already crying at the 0:35 mark. The only way a dog will look like that is if humans failed to feed her for a long time. At the same time I feel angry. Angry to the point of balling my fist. Thank GOD Lee found her in time to save her. She can now get healthy and lead the life she deserves. What a sweety.
EDIT: And a special shout out to this medical staff. They showed Milly the love and care she so desperately needed.

The first impression seeing Mildred the first time was heartbreaking 💔...so skinny, bones and skin, so weak, so sad eyes, so a broken soul. She was welcomed into the pack, her hole life had changed, meals, love, cares, cuddles and kisses🥰 , nice walks with the pack, comfy places to sleep inside the house, her home now, never again alone, never again undesired...She will be stronger and full of happiness and full of joy, sweet Millie, and Poppy and all the doggies are doing the best to make her feel part of the pack, part of the Asher family. And with Lee's cares and love she will shine like a star 🌟 💖 she always was 😍

Lee is a true inspiration. We just rescued a ten month old pup. He was running scared along a busy highway my wife scooped him up. We quarantined him until we could get him to the vet. All of our local shelters were full. So we got his fleas, ticks, roundworms, and hookworms taken care of. Luckily he was parvo negative. Now he's gaining weight and is now a part of our pack.
What a blessing that they called you. Milly … you so deserved this family. Be happy and live well 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
