Great job, Lee. Of course I don't like seeing all the dogs in shelters, but people putting their 12 year old dogs in a shelter just really gets to me.

Some people are just clueless and heartless and maybe both. They’re the type of people that would blame the animal if their kid was bitten. Some people shouldn’t have animals or kids
I don't understand it either. They allowed their child to hit the dog right in front of the people at the shelter? They don't know it's wrong?
Like my damn neighbors for instance!! (As we sit here in our apartment listening to continuous running and thumping through the whole building! 😡🤬😡🤬) We live in an old building converted into a duplex. 2 "adults" and 3 kids under the age of 7-ish PLUS a gorgeous and UNTRAINED Great Pyrenees in a 2 bdrm 950 sq apartment. *SIGHS*

It’s scary there are people like that able to acquire animals and then allow them to be hurt. A child who doesn’t know right from wrong is going to be a troubled adult. He/she already has caused damage to that dog. At least they’re doing the right thing in surrendering the animal. It lucky Lee was there to take her somewhere quiet.
With the terrible things going on in the world today, my daily visit to the Asher House (via TH-cam) keeps me sane and focused on all of the GOOD things happening around us. Thank you for taking the ones that no one else would, and giving them their best life ever. You're awesome!

Every single day my heart smiles when I watch a video from The Asher House, but... - my favorites are the videos where Lee meets a new dog - within seconds he says my favorite phrase: "We'll take him/her!", and we know that dog is going to the best home ever THE ASHER HOUSE! You've just changed their lives! You knew exactly what they needed. They love you already! That poor dog that kept getting hit by that child. It makes me sick. How could anyone allow that? The poor thing is scared and sad,yet never fought back because shes so sweet. Thank you you for bringing her home and showing her love. Thank you for doing that for all of these sweethearts. Agreed. That family should never get any animal again! That child has no education or is just repeating what he see from his parents.
When my 2 kids were very young, I started immediately to “train” them to respect all animals. If there as even the slightest sign of mistreatment from my children, they were disciplined & quickly learned that we considered our pets as family members to be cared for & loved unconditionally. They are now grown adults and both have pets (all rescues) and love animals dearly. My son passed it on and now my granddaughter wants to be a vet & rescuer. To allow any child to harm any type of animal, whether a pet or stray or even wildlife, is unforgivable IMO.

I've posted to my friends online that if they rescue a dog, show me the paperwork and give me an address that'll send them a doggo care package.
I may not be able to do much but I want to do what I can to help.

So many good adoptable dogs, just not enough good available homes. To be able to do this, clear the shelters, is a dream for most of us. So it's a joy to see, thanks again to you, Lee.💕🐾☮️
U know, I think there are enough homes i just think a lot of us have fears and worries and not enough time or energy to deal with the difficult ones, or the ones we think will be difficult... so we don't even think of adopting xo

Although I once had four adopted dogs myself and fostered many others for a time, I currently have none because I don’t feel I can give another dog all that it needs. My heart is open, but my home and living situation aren’t right now.

I was in total awe at how all these dogs loved and played with you Lee. I cried as you took the little dog with no hair on her back I was saying pick her pick her and you did. 9 more lucky dogs! I've said it before and I'll say it again, thank you so much Lee, for all you do for these sweet souls. I remember watching your videos years ago and you were driving around in a van going from shelter to shelter, and to be able to see the evolution of your dream has been amazing. It's been a rollercoaster ride with you, Lee. The joy seen in the dogs' eyes AND yours whenever you were able to bring them home to add to your wonderful pack, the heartbreak of some leaving to cross the rainbow bridge (They're waiting for you there), and every emotion in between. Man, Lee is so brave in handling all those dogs. It doesn't seem to take much for him, but I'd be a little worried of taking too much space if they're already scared. I'm not perfect in reading dogs, so I wouldn't know how to act if they have a negative backstory. So great that this is seemingly no problem for you at all! They smell that they've met the packleader! 😅❤ Thank you for adopting each soul, whether small or big!
I'm someone who has approached, gangs of street, dogs overseas, and I volunteer in a shelter, where I regularly sit with mostly pitbull mixes, and I give them baths, even upon first meeting. I think it has a lot to do with the energy you bring. If you don't exude fear, and feel genuine, love in your hearts for them… I think they feel it. Knock on wood, I've never been attacked. I'm usually pretty good at reading body language as well.
I am an animal whisperer I was born with it they know by first instinct I will protect them respect them and take care of them with pure love for God's creatures no matter what and I'm a very strong willed and a mindful person and they pick up on that I'm the care giver protector and I'm an alpha female

Omg I know shelters are overwhelmed but it is just beyond heartbreaking to see a dog with a prolapse in a soiled kennel... my god. Thank you Lee for taking these dogs. I truly do not understand how you can go in and make such difficult choices. It's brutal. Thank you for your kindness. 💔❤️
I would like to think that the shelter workers are doing their best, but it bothered me a lot that that poor baby was just left there, bleeding, and they didn't really seem too concerned about that. I'm so glad the puppy will be looked after now, and I really hope the vets can fix everything up.

From the moment that Lee meets a dog, the transformation begins, mentally, emotionally & physically. Lee not only changes their lives, he saves their lives. All of these dogs are amazing, but I'm in love with Nala. She's been through Hell & back because of the last humans she trusted, but being with Lee & the pack will do wonders for her just like the others because she deserves it, just like the others.🐶🐕😇💔❤️🩹💝🎉🐾
Thank you for giving them a second chance. How can anyone as a parent allow their child to chase an animal and hit it? What are you teaching your child? Those parents should be arrested and jailed because instead of disciplining the child you surrender an innocent animal!!!! I have no words for such awful parents. My children have been raised to love, adore and respect our dogs who are all rescues. They have been taught that all they need is love, food and water but they need to be respected as they are animals.

The dog that was shaking because he had been teased by kids broke my heart! Parents should never allow a dog to be harassed by a child! The child needs to learn how to show love, and care! Lee will have him not scared of people again! ❤
I keep seeing this same comment. They allow the child to abuse the dog because they have no understanding that the dog is a living, sentient,intelligent creature. How are people - adults, parents - supposed to TEACH their children better when they themselves have no clue? How does that happen? How about you teach this people about contraception since “teaching” is so important. If I read this comment one more time on this thread my head is going to explode.
