  • Here’s the thing, some people are good at starting something but they are not equipped to
follow through. You can’t keep filling in the blanks they left for you with answers from your own
imagination. There are only so many excuses you can make for someone who is consistently
absent. The more you make excuses for their mistakes, the more likely they are to keep making
them. So ask yourself, is it really worth protecting them at the expense of your own well-being?

      That's sort of true.

      1st Take:
"My advice to women is date all of them: the bad boys, the cool boys, the commitment-phobic boys, the crazy boys. But do not marry them. The things that make the bad boys sexy do not make them good husbands. When it comes time to settle down, find someone who wants an equal partner. Someone who thinks women should be smart, opinionated and ambitious. Someone who values fairness and expects or, even better, wants to do his share in the home. These men exist and, trust me, over time, nothing is sexier."
      Yours sincerely,
Sheryl Sandberg, chief operating officer of Facebook
      2nd Take:
“My music is always going to make a woman feel like a bad bitch. When you make a woman feel like she’s the baddest bitch in the room, to me, that’s female empowerment.”
      Decently yours,
      Cardi B.
      My Humble Take:
What most simps, feminist fe/males, white-knights, betas and conservative guys fail to realize: bad boys provide excitement, novelty, unpredictability and fun (fear, roller-coaster drama) to a new level. In other words, stability and commitment (no longer) won't cut it for today's 🦄. Why is that? Before she was your girlfriend, wife or lover, she already had been "run through" so many guys. And each time she slept with someone (both wo/men), she lost a part of her psyche, well-being or mind/soul/spirit. In other words, she is no longer able to have emotional attachment in a healthy or committed way.

That was the first week in January. Now, he comes to the kitchen when I am there and says nothing. I tried to get him to talk to me last week but he said nothing. He refused to speak. A decent person will never ghost you. They will at least let you know why they no longer want to see you/be with you and give you that closure. Being ghosted has nothing to do with you and more to do with the other person being selfish which means you dodged a bullet and escaped potential weeks/months/years of pain.
Don't settle. Wait for someone who values you without you having to make them. Being valued is just the most fundamental thing in love.

Exactly or the intermitting ghostingm i sent him a sweet textm he replied on monday with a ❤
It seems nice but I felt: texting me from obligation.
Can be my own confusion but still. It added up in a pattern.
One.time when I cried at nlght, I tpld him I was done bc it felt like a game not leading to anything.
He reolied that he understood my doubts and asked me for one more chance to have a coffee. But then he unexpectedly stayed abroad longer
Ok. Can't blame him for that but on top of it all silences of 3 days. I feel so hurt it's only been 4 months but still you think you build a bond and he seemed decent but not in communication after all. He is starting a business. I ruled out catfish bc he lives near my location and we spoke on the phone. Rationally I know I deserve better but bc he spoke about meeting up asap and build sonething beautiful together and also the click I felt in interactions it's extra painful. It triggers my own insecurities too.
I am aware that that's not how he sees me, irs my own reaction to being ignored.
I sent him a text once to express my confusion and opinions.
3 days later he replied; no worries, you are sweet, I didn't read your text on purpose bc I wahted to keep my positive feeling about you".
I fell arrogance plus: I am positive but bc he ignored me for days I fell bad all weekend! It almost felt like he enjoyed my upset text.
The problem with text and few calls is we have to go by words and energy but we can't rely on that always bc nobody knows what's in someone's head. Fact is, it's cruel to leave someone hanging while you claim tp have feelings for them!
He admitted he's a disaster in relationships and his honest words and he never spoke rude to me that makes it so confusing with the cold silences
Last Thursday i said sonething sweet to him.
      No reply.
When will I finally learn to step away earlier bc I saw the signs from the start.

You’re onto something there. Someone could offer these people the world and it is not enough for them. How counterintuitive that is when dealing with love and relationships. But you’re right, we have to love ourselves first and care about ourselves. Not in the same way these “ghosts” love and put themselves first though. Sometimes, we have to extend that love and care for ourselves to do the decent thing to others so you can help them reach the same peace you have reached even if it means your actions may disappoint them. 💕

I just had to get over it. Thankfully I thought so little of him after that it was easy. My current partner isn’t perfect of course, but he’s a genuinely good guy and we are planning to move in together within the next couple of months. It is such a relief to not have the deal with the emotional termoil of someone who didn’t even have the decency to tell me he was afraid to commit to me. It hurts, mentally and physically, it’s easy to say words like move on etc, but especially after a long period of a relationship, ghosting can cause trauma, our emotions are not a game, many can be devastated and traumatized more than breaking up, people who are ghosted will start questioning themselves, blaming themselves, feeling up and down, get worried about the other etc just because the one who ghosted isn’t brave enough to face them and him/herself. Some people are abusive in which sometimes it’s understandable but if the other person was truly a good one, please have the courage to end things, don’t lead them on with the “I love you” then disappear. Most of the time people will get over it but many can’t easily, or it will haunt them in their unconscious mind if they couldn’t move on in a good way.

Men are generally different, in the sense that they more often just don't care if the woman is in a relationship.

You'll just he a bit on the side. Usually infrequently as they try and fit in other unaware women. Modern dating isn't worth bothering with. Too many players now.

This isnt called ghosting, this is called he’s not that into you because he’s with someone else. They clearly aren’t in a relationship and he clearly keeps making up excuses for important events such as meeting her parents. Ghosting is when you are with someone for a good amount of time and then all of the sudden disappear. My ex disappeared on me after 8 months and he met my family , did all the stuff people do in relationships then found someone else. He dropped me like I was a piece of trash without an explanation, that’s ghosting

It’s taken me a long time to get over this, meanwhile he’s living his life happy with someone else and not a care of what he did to me. Sometimes I think when someone does this they always wind up happy and the other person that gets hurt suffers. Does Karma ever serve them?? I have abandonment issues now and always have a fear that another guy will do this to me.! 8 months isn’t long but it’s amazing what damage someone can be done in such a short period of time.

And often times people walk away from our life because the space is meant to be filled by someone else. Look at it as God was preparing you for another person. Just grow and bloom; be the best you can be by yourself. Cultivate other relationships such as genuine friendships or family. Enjoy those who sincerely love you and stand by you. When the pandemic hit he went out of his way to go food shopping for me, he fixed my car when need be, he made my birthday and holidays special among other things. Appreciate when those people ghost. Don't internalize it as something being wrong with you UNLESS it was really you that was the problem. Do self-reflection, learn the lesson, and let go. In time, you'll feel more empowered. The sooner they leave, the sooner you realize they are not dependable or reliable. Imagine how much it would've hurt to have invested more time, energy, and resources with said person for them to completely disappear without explanation. There's usually signs to tell whether a person is using you out of convenience. Always try to mirror their energy until you feel it's time to completely remove yourself. Then, ghost them. You'll see how much effort they TRY to put in when you pull your energy back. But don't entertain them because it's usually because they either want to redeem their ego or get something from you. Its awful to feel like you're disposable but if someone is not prioritizing you or putting the same effort in, pull your energy, time and effort back.

This is why being rejected is infinitely better than being ghosted. You find out that the person doesn't want you and while it stings initially, you can eliminate this person from your life, stop wasting time and mental power on them and get on with life as opposed to have a million and one ''what ifs?'' and false hopes running through your head that reach nowhere and putting you in limbo. Enough already!
And also, ghosting is a massive turn-off anyway.

Then things started to feel ok again. Then I went back to believe in people, giving a second chance as I still chose to see good side in a person. Then after being ghosted for the second time. That second time...well...it was devastating and did break me down badly...I'm not sure if this has led me to a good way or bad way but after that second time, I feel like nothing whenever being ghosted. I just feel like a part of me had already dead. I stop looking forward to sharing with people. I guess practice makes perfect. Being ghosted too many times might not be a bad thing you know.
