I just went through every bulb on my RD400 and changed them over to LED bulbs. Dash lights, brake lights, the works! I got different aftermarket small thin LED turn signals and it made a huge difference to our old antique charging systems. I did the same bulb change you started with, going from the halogen bulb to an LED bulb in the stock lamp, but the spread is awful. I should change over the entire lamp like you did because the output is Ansari, but I just can't stand the way they look. I wish somebody would come up with a single lens LED bulb that has the proper spread and illumination. I just don't like the way any of the modern LED headlights look.

That's a great collection. I agree the look of that LED isn't the best. Maybe if something closer to the original design would have been better

I also changed the clock & idiot bulbs for led’s but they all blew. Usual Amazon quality
