Nice video. There is a bit of a workaround for calling up the Hull C in a space port. Request a ship that typically spawns in a hanger, then without storing the first ship request the Hull C and it will then spawn in hanger rather than docking port. Hope this helps

Quick work around for pulling out the Hull-C at a Station: *Cargo arms MUST be retracted when ship was stowed* 1. Retrieve any other ship into a hangar. 2. Without storing that first ship, retrieve the Hull-C. It will be pulled out into a hangar. (Hence why the cargo arms MUST be retracted) Done.
This is what I do on Bajini... call out a small ship, move it around onto a landing pad and then go back in, call out the Hull-C and then run back out to the landing pad, get in the small ship.. fly over to the Hull-C.. space walk into the rear/top airlock door and abandon the small ship to head off and start space trucking.
Around 16:22 you mentioned setting up security cameras. This is a good idea but as far as sweepong the ship for "extra" people, I use F11 - click on the ship and if you are solo, should be a blank list.
They changed that when they brought in the trespassing system . People not in your party will not show up anymore in the ship comms system . Hence why I sweep the ship .
You can call it out at a space station with a small work around. At a cargo space station call another ship into a hangar. Then call the Hull C and it will go into a hangar at that space station. Then just go to the loading cube. I agree don't use the docking arms.
You may have gotten me to actually try the Hull-C. It's kinda weird, but I've had it in my hangar since it released because it's a loaner for the BMM, but I've only been inside it one time for 5 minutes. I've played hundreds of hours since it came out too...just avoided using it because I knew about the hitches in its functionality.
I've had the Hull C for a little bit but haven't tried to do anything with it yet. Getting the Iron surprised me because I can never sell that anywhere. I keep forgetting that those stations are out at the jump gates
You can pull it at Orison if you pull a hangar ship then retrieve the Hull C while the original ship is still in the hangar. It will put it in a large enough hangar. Space stations other than Grim Hex don't have big enough hangars for the bigger ships like Hull C, Reclaimer, or 890.

I love the idea of the Hull C but mine has been sitting at magnus jp because I had a whole load of Medical Supplies, but it only lets me sell them 5 units at a time! Any idea how to work around this?
Try the other stations like Everus, Tressler, Bajini, Pyro and Seraphim. If you have a buddy with a C2 you can transfer them over to him and sell them 500 scu at a time at Area 18. I avoid the meds and spirits in the Hull C. Take forever to get rid of them.
I used to have the Hull C, and I loved it, but i had way too much issues for it to be worth keeping, so its kinda just sitting in buy backs right now. Once they fix the cargo selling and pickup issues then ill get it back.
I havnt been able to use the Hull C at all the entire patch.... every time i try to get onto mine, it breaks the space-time continuum and despawns 'everything' around me.. then it all has to load back in... and if i try to sit in the seat the same thing happens only nothing ever loads back in and im stuck in some endless limbo where my character is trying to sit in a seat that nolonger exists :T My one complaint with the Hull C loop.. is that we have to dock, request to sell, undock, get unloaded, dock again, request to buy, then undock and get loaded again.... It's doubled up worse than it needs to be. They need to let us hail the cargo folks when we arrive, have it check to see if we have any cargo.. allow us to unload imediately if we do (and move the cargo into our station cargo), then let us dock, Sell what we brought + chose what to load up all at the same instance, then undock and load up again. the current system is needlessly double-work :T
I often encounter the bug, where my cargo transfer wont start and she keeps saying that the area isnt clear and there is an issue on my cargo (timer stays at 00:00). Anyone had the same and found a workaround? Btw nice route i do the same but start at PT
Storing it at Seraphim isn't bad, the docking port isn't far from a pad so you can just EAV to the ship. Also I save time docking and just nose up to a pad and EVA to and from the ship when buying/selling.
just a note. it s NOT fixed in 3.23 EPTU at this time. you will end up glitched in the engine room of the Hull-C if you pull it out before another ship and attempt to dock.
Yeah the docking arm fixes are coming with docking arm freight elevators from what Ive heard. So when they get finished and approved for release in a post launch 3.23.x patch, we hopefully will see it fix. They have been slightly delayed.
I currently don't have that, but I can film one this weekend. Then lock in the camera to one of 1-9 numbers on the keypad By holding F4 and pressing the number I want to lock it to for 3 seconds. So all I have to do is hold F4 and then tap the numbers to switch the cameras to scan the ship.
Currently no. The landing gear can't reach the ground when loaded. When Pyro is released there will be moorings at some of the planet bases to dock the ship and get it loaded with beams and tractors. I suspect when they redo some of Stanton they will add mooring planetside there. Still some of the larger ships won't be able to go into atmosphere due to size.
Maybe you can help me out, I tried doing a Hull C run the other day and it would not let me choose the hull C as the source and by my commodity, I had to pick the station as the source for it to un-gray the commodity. So it put it in the stations inventory and I got screwed. How do you get it straight to the hull c so you can get to the cargo loading box?? Thanks!
@ddavis5442 the Hull c is currently messed up until they get the intended loading process in place for it. The current broken process was originally a workaround they put in place. They arent fixing it because a new system is coming.CIG says they have the new process ready but probably won't drop until 4.0.
I'm hoping they stream line the trading portion of hauling in a Hull. We need a Mobi app that lets us call up a Sell menu for the Station we're at or even choose one before we get there. Then we'd have a sell order and just need to call up the Cargo deck. Also really looking forward to the Cargo contracts and ability to store cargo on Stations.
That will all happen in the future. The HULL C implementation is still at tier 0 so nothing besides the testing of it actually being in game is finished. Freight elevators and the new cargo missions and mechanics have been pushed back to a 3.23.x update. Sadly the EPTU is not going well at the moment thus making it necessary to postpone some new features, so they can fix the core replication and server recovery first. I have been trying for a week in the EPTU to just get off a planet or do a mission and its been impossible with a 3000-4000 ping and many other issues.

Go to another station and sell there. I avoid things like med supplies and spirits. Since demand isn't great for them at stations. You can sell 700 scu at a time of spirits at the gateways. I'm not sure what the med supplies demand is there but I could imagine it not being great. I bought med supplies and ended up transferring it to a C2 and selling them at Area18 500 scu at a time. Me and a buddy had 10 loads to haul down. We used a box mission box that had a marker for the mission and left the box on the ship so we had a marker where it was when we left it in space. Otherwise we would've never found it again.
@@Kehvan I use this site to do trade route calculating uexcorp.space/ and to get an idea of what place takes what so I don't buy more than I should Some things like dist spirits and meds are meant for the future freight elevators coming in 3.23 at the docking pads so you can buy in bulk, store there and transfer over to smaller planet bound ships as price fluctuate.
Docking with hull-C is super buggy And you ship tends to get glitched inside the port and explode so it is safe to go over to a free pad which does not require docking permission just stop next to it E V A to the pad and go to the galleria and buy cargo that way it is much safer

Its not a hassle at all. Its a tier zero implementation of a new cargo variety. It'll be streamlined and expanded on as the tech is put in game to build it out to its destined vision.
@@cyberg_war True, meant the actual way of docking and going to the cargo area instead of like all other ships the cargo is already in the ship. I love cargo runs since I do that in real life and would love to see the improvements. This reminded me when I'm waiting for the guys to finish unload and load my truck for an hour.
@@honoryhonra Starting in 3.23 cargo is going completely physical and will have to be loaded by hand or by hiring a crew. So be prepared. Large ships are going to take 10+ minutes to load and cant be loaded at all bases.
@@honoryhonra They are installing freight elevators into the Docking arms, hence why they aren't fixed since they are changing and they are adding more of them in each station for server mesh. Eventually as the AI crews become online more, they will have the new Argo Cargo ships bringing out the load to ship one 32 scu box at a time and you'll have to utilize the 4 tractor beams on the Hull C to load them manually or pay a crew to load it. All cargo is going physical in 3.23. So have a tractor beam ready or a ship with one if you don't want to pay to have it loaded.
Tony said in Oct 23 that quanta is on hold until the server meshing is running. He has the vast majority of it ready to go but there's no sense in overly complicating the implementation of server mesh. You'd just be retreading the same ground twice if he started putting it in now. So it'd be a waste of resources. He has had 2 new positions merged into his title so he is in charge of Sq42 implementation until server mesh is running.

My favorite thing in the game to do is..............collect guns.............LOTS OF GUNS....kid you not, I have over 10 pages [ on my home base at Orison ] of FPS firearms, most of it is subscriber stuff too , i find ALOT of Azkats lightning snipers & P6's etc in bunkers, have quite a few rail guns as well [ only time I ever used it was on another player's ship, some asshat was at rappell & was doing a bugged mission racking up so many dead bodies lag the server so I promptly flew over there & landed...and used my rail gun on hand for the first time & blasted his constellation whatever into dust...he had no idea where I was, I took off & left while he was screaming bloody murder....too bad everyone in chat was like "you asked for it you asshole lolz "

Did you report them to CIG? Firing into the armistice zone from outside at the Space station is a violation of terms of service. CIG will go check the game data and verify it. Don't let cheaters get away with that stuff.

My largest cargo ship is my Caterpillar but cargo is not my ultimate plan for that ship. Once ship modularity becomes a thing, I want to turn my Caterpillar into a flying machine ship or specialist factory ship refurbishing damaged but serviceable ship parts from a Reclaimer before handing them off to a Crucible.
@@TangoDelta42 just pull up next to the pads. You cant park in the loading area, they store you in about 10 seconds for trespassing or blow you up if someone is loading

If you park off the touch n go pads you don't have yo deal with the docking tube at all. Saves so much time

Can I use this ship to get cargo from Planets ? Like get recycled material from Rappel and sell it in Area 18 ?

Docking ports still bugged 3.23
They will be fixed with 3.23.2 coming in a week or so when they add docking hangers for large ships at ports.

Wow I didnt know till it was such a hassle to load and unload with this type of ships. Is it the same for the Caterpillar? I hope they improve this for more ppl to enjoy cargo runs.
Its not a hassle at all. Its a tier zero implementation of a new cargo variety. It'll be streamlined and expanded on as the tech is put in game to build it out to its destined vision.
@@cyberg_war True, meant the actual way of docking and going to the cargo area instead of like all other ships the cargo is already in the ship. I love cargo runs since I do that in real life and would love to see the improvements. This reminded me when I'm waiting for the guys to finish unload and load my truck for an hour.
@@honoryhonra Starting in 3.23 cargo is going completely physical and will have to be loaded by hand or by hiring a crew. So be prepared. Large ships are going to take 10+ minutes to load and cant be loaded at all bases.

@@honoryhonra They are installing freight elevators into the Docking arms, hence why they aren't fixed since they are changing and they are adding more of them in each station for server mesh. Eventually as the AI crews become online more, they will have the new Argo Cargo ships bringing out the load to ship one 32 scu box at a time and you'll have to utilize the 4 tractor beams on the Hull C to load them manually or pay a crew to load it. All cargo is going physical in 3.23. So have a tractor beam ready or a ship with one if you don't want to pay to have it loaded.
Hull C is an awesome ship and hopefully Tony Z might show up to tell us more about Quanta lmfao
Tony said in Oct 23 that quanta is on hold until the server meshing is running. He has the vast majority of it ready to go but there's no sense in overly complicating the implementation of server mesh. You'd just be retreading the same ground twice if he started putting it in now. So it'd be a waste of resources. He has had 2 new positions merged into his title so he is in charge of Sq42 implementation until server mesh is running.

My favorite thing in the game to do is..............collect guns.............LOTS OF GUNS....kid you not, I have over 10 pages [ on my home base at Orison ] of FPS firearms, most of it is subscriber stuff too , i find ALOT of Azkats lightning snipers & P6's etc in bunkers, have quite a few rail guns as well [ only time I ever used it was on another player's ship, some asshat was at rappell & was doing a bugged mission racking up so many dead bodies lag the server so I promptly flew over there & landed...and used my rail gun on hand for the first time & blasted his constellation whatever into dust...he had no idea where I was, I took off & left while he was screaming bloody murder....too bad everyone in chat was like "you asked for it you asshole lolz "

My Vanduul mask? I got that 3-4 years back for killing 50 different players in a month with a Glaive. It was a reward given by CIG. You can usually find them around Halloween now too in loot boxes.

Did you report them to CIG? Firing into the armistice zone from outside at the Space station is a violation of terms of service. CIG will go check the game data and verify it. Don't let cheaters get away with that stuff.

My largest cargo ship is my Caterpillar but cargo is not my ultimate plan for that ship. Once ship modularity becomes a thing, I want to turn my Caterpillar into a flying machine ship or specialist factory ship refurbishing damaged but serviceable ship parts from a Reclaimer before handing them off to a Crucible.
Ships like Hull C or Reclaimer need a Snub

@@cyberg_warjust for entering a station without docking. With a snub you can park directly in the loading area and sell and buy at the station.
@@TangoDelta42 just pull up next to the pads. You cant park in the loading area, they store you in about 10 seconds for trespassing or blow you up if someone is loading
@@cyberg_war Yes, but CIG could change that and assign more space for that service. Would be just cooler if very big ships would also use shuttles for transporting people.
