main issue I keep having is all the Freight Elevators on moons mines, and yards are ALWAYS stuck broken on arrival spinning "Transferring to Warehouse" Live and PTU check multiple shards and the same issue always.
@@MrKarolinger No infact its even worse now, every single FE you go to on an outpost Always stuck "Transferring to Wharehouse", before it was this and loading contents but now they all Perma stuck Transf to WH.... Millions lost...
CIG may have adopted of too realistic. As an example, the Reclaimer has lips on the floor between rooms and elevators and when you tractor a box, the lip always catch cargo boxes which is a pain when there is 15-30 boxes.
Thank you for this video. I was never able to store 3x24scu containers in the MSR as shown in the reference sheet. The fit is too tight the third container does not snap in position. What am I missing, should I use the ATLS?
This was very helpful love the pdf resource, some feedback the 32 SCU are no longer available at facilities like Shub-18 etc on moons and there is no auto-load on moons other than in PH so the stacking plan in the PDF is not current based on what is possible outside of the PH and when picking up commodities off world. The ATLS is also very difficult still to get cargo to the back of ship hulls or stack ontop of first layer of cargo or push to back really junkie needs lots of work.
I have just loaded my Max succesfully in the ptu. I ordered the cargo as per your instructions. pain in the arse to tetris them all in though...... Thanx for the video!
Great tutorial! Also nice to see someone providing info instead of just pandering for clicks from the haters. I’m for constructive criticism, but it’s gone beyond that in my opinion with some even providing disinformation, I.e. trashing new implementations but not even knowing how to use it. My point is they should learn how to use it and then trash it if that’s their opinion.
How do you get the 32SCU crates out Freight elevators on moons etc for example during PTU at SM0-18 both the two Freight loading locations which show 200+ capacity say the 32 SCU crates are blocking access and it wont work.. EDIT, maybe Auto load the first 32 SCU if that works from SMO-18 not sure will have to try??
@@MrKarolinger it has never worked for me unless maybe its just the Andromeda Taurus that's bugged then, ill try with the corsair or another ship then. Have tried many times Auto-load never works, select ship, select Grid, click on the commodity and does nothing.
Another great tutorial from you guys! Especially for beginner, it will be a bit help, but also for me a good headsup for the new tetris 3..24 patch xD So far it loooks nice to play around wiith the boxes, I just hope they will increese thhe prices a bit and make the game more stable again (:
how do you do autoloading on cargo missions as well as trading posts? looks like auto loading is only available on planets? or also available in Space stations?
If I put a large box in can I retrieve it as multiple smaller boxes? Like if I put a 2 scu box into storage would I be able to retrieve them as two 1 scu boxes?
Why didn't the CIG team that came up with the cost side price of auto load didn't think about the sell side price of commodities? C2 696 SCU of scrap = 105K, selling scrap = 36K - anyone see the issue here?????
A nice guide. Hopefully the changes to cargo will mean that they'll finally add keybinds so that vehicle tractor beams work. It's a serious fuckup to introduce a new ship feature in a game like SC and forget to include controls for HOTAS/HOSAS. Not having a way to extend and retract the beam on HOSAS means that it's faster to just use a handheld tool.
Privateer was my first space combat flight sim in 1994 when I got my first PC. I bought my first flight stick in the summer of 1995. Like a normal player of this genre, I haven't used mouse and keyboard since then. After nearly 30 years, I'm not going back now.
@@lordanubis5965 I have a Carrack as my biggest trade ship currently in game. Also, in order to make the time sink worth their needs to be more profit. Shouldn't take longer to load than make the trade run. This is a game not a job.
I think this guy made the video before they adjusted the rewards for the missions, they updated the PTU several days ago for cargo hauling missions to be bigger in payout. Besides....there's supposed to be pros and cons to both methods: 1. Autoloading required no effort, but the con is that it takes time waiting and it costs credits; 2. Manual loading is free and can often be relatively quick (especially if you have friends / orgmates), but you have to do it yourself. This is good for game balance and ensures that group play has a real purpose...if autoloading was quick and cheap then it would destroy the purpose of playing with a group
It’s still wild to me that by spending more real life money and getting a larger hanger you get more and more perks like more than double the cargo space compared to a med hangar can store how is this shit not pay to win right now 😂
What Karo said, buying with real money is optional. It's easy to make credits in game if you know what you're doing, and you can buy all flyable ships in game besides new releases that are exclusive for 3 months. Real money doesn't get you more skill or power over other players, hence the game is not pay to win. It's actually quite boring to just buy your way into a ship with real money instead of actually playing the game to become a better pilot, and learning trades to get your dream ship on your own.
some of these, like the Caterpillar. I think they may just re-portion the ship? make it 2scu narrower and maybe each bay hold 6 24scu containers cleanly
Tractor Drones would solve the issue of line of sight issues with loading and unloading. I am not a fan of Cargo in the 3.24 update....becomes very tedious and chore-like, I quit games over these issues.
OK seriously. This can't be how they intend cargo to work. Seriously who TH wants to manually load cargo one box at a time? Even truckers today don't do that. There's dock workers that do that. Even shipyards there's highly efficient equipment to do that. Yet in the future we're hand loading everything? SMH lol
This might be the dumbest update iv ever seen, oh yes so immersive to spend hours walking around loading cargo, thats deff what i want to spend my time doing when i play.
Sorry but this just turns me off to the game even more. They are making me do EVEN MORE work in a video game. Adding like 30-60 minutes simply moving boxes. Why isn't cargo moving always free and automatic like refueling. Speaking of which, why don't they make us manually refuel our virtual property as well if they are going for so much realism? This is stupid. SC is dead now.
You know alot of people actually enjoy loading and unloading cargo. I know I do. Games today lack depth because players reduce gameplay to maximize efficiency. Playing this new cargo patch has been super enjoyable to me and I finally have a full time use case for my msr.

Currently, the cargo grid is still very vulnerable 🤞
12:06 what i do not understand : Where on the Asop screen do you choose manual Or automatic loading/unloading?
I think this is mainly in cities and LEO stations. And i think your ship needs to be stored.
You can load automatically if you select a ship directly as the destination for the cargo 👍
It can be broken most of the time I’ve ran into countless issues with the auto loading

directly at our discord under downloads 🫡

Now that 3.24 is live, this was much needed!
Will automatic loading be available at outpost on moons such as HMS Beztek. If not this will be a huge problem for doing trading with my Carrack.
This will happen almost everywhere but with different costs and different loading times 🤞
@@MrKarolinger So the outposts on moons have autoloading. I thought that required the ship to be stored?

how do you load "auto load" for the Hual C
the hull c is unfortunately still not stable 🤞
@@MrKarolinger yea, it really sucks :(
This has literally been the plan since the get go and is only the start of physical inventory etc.
It doesn't sell dreams, the loading/unloading mechanism by npjs had better be very expensive, otherwise no one will ever do it voluntarily.
the c2 is 4scu tall front to back. That chart is only showing it to be 3
