This is one of those movies where you go in with low expectations and come out pleasantly suprised. It's better than the trailer makes it seem lol
Oh, the cringe in this movie. But it has heart, too. And it's the two combined that make it so much fun and bring out the best commentary videos. 🧡

It's great when the main character's hallucinations play a pivotal part in the plot.
i literally have to fast-forward through most of this movie because I CAN NOT HANDLE THE CRINGE I JUST WANT TO SHRIVEL UP AND DIE OMG THE SECONDHAND EMBARRASSMENT IS TOO MUCH but I love this film and Bianca and Wes' relationship is one of my favourites they're so cuuuuuuuute!! It helps that they're played by two of my favourite actors, but still, their chemistry and good-natured banter is just ridiculously sweet. I wish there was more of them two.
The book is pretty good too, a few different scenes and some plotlines were left out or changed in the movie, but it's great.
This movie changed the way I viewed my classmates… don’t know if it’s a good or a bad thing though. People really do be using friends to get to their crushes
I love this movie. It's fun, it's funny, the chemistry between the main leads is perfect. The cringe is just the right amount that it's not overboard but believable that teenagers would do this, like flat out listing all of the flaws straight to your friend's face, messing with a mannequin at a store & going too far then embarrassing yourself, the random daydreams that pop in your head.

Oh my word!!!! I'm SO HAPPY you watched this film and enjoyed it!! It's such an underrated romcom!!! One of the few romantic comedies where I think the jokes are actually funny and Mae Whitman and Robbie Amell knock it out of the park.

I first saw this movie bc I love the book and wanted to see how the movie version would play out. Then when I heard the cast I was sold. I enjoyed this movie a lot. It’s got some cringe moments but it’s also funny and connects with the audience. Had a good time watching it the first time and a good time watching it again with your reaction. Good choice.
if you’re watching this you should watch The Edge of Seventeen it’s really good i think you might like it!

You know at the end of every video when you mention twitch and you share screen recordings from it and you can see the comments that other people were making during that stream you choose the weirdest moments on purpose and there's no context so we just look like we be having weird conversations😂

Why is it that everytime you like rom coms or something like that people literally are like “I cringed and or I don’t as embarrassed for liking it now because everyone doesn’t like it now and so I pretend that I don’t like it.” That pressure wow. Just enjoy you love it that’s the point not everyone likes what you like but if you do who to cares lol

This movie is so good! It does have some chaos but love that. I remember when I first saw it, I was like "why haven't I seen this until now?" Love the video and all your vids! I know I say this in all my comments if not then a lot but it's true you do an amazing job! Definitely recommend The Sound of Music and Disney's Rip Girls.

When I was first thinking of watching this movie I didn't have high execprations because trailer made it seem like a mean girls rip off but though it is a mean girls esque story I love this movie. I read the book first and the book was hard to digest. MC was living with her alcoholic father and slept very early with Wesley to punish herself. They disneyfiied the story pretty much for the screen.

As much as I do enjoy this movie, it's not very good as an adaption. Like the movie and the book have very little in common, like to the extent that they are practically different genres. The book is very much not comedy
