Loot crate definitely isn't worth it... A brilliant idea, but unless you're a fan of like every fandom and have a use for half the shit you get (Cookie cutters for example I would never use, hardly ever use a mug either) then you're just shelling out dough for a gamble. A business practice when you aren't in control of what you get is more often than not likely to be a let down! Even if you get a crate for a particular theme like a Gears of War/Halo one you could still end up with garbage, just not worth the money when £20 could actually buy you merch you want to get yourself!

merch is expensive in australia, and so is shipping. i think i pay about $40 for a standard lootcrate, and if i know the theme/something that will be in the box, it's usually worth it, even if most of it is junk. nerdy tshirts here alone are usually $40, so if i knew and liked the theme it's been worth it for me (as an aussie).

Lootcrate was awesome when they first started. The second they split up in to a bunch of separate crates was the second the quality tanked. Shirts were cheaper, always fit weird. Went from solid well established themes to just kind of random junk. Literally the only reason I kept with them for so long was the shirts because I hate shopping for clothing but now even the shirts aren't worth it.

I am biased as Deadpool is my favorite Marvel character, but the crate was absolutely fantastic. I highly, highly recommend it
I might consider getting the regular crates if they stop putting a bunch of Marvel stuff in it, they’ve got a crate specifically for Marvel so I feel it’s just overstepping. I feel like the base loot crate should be a grab bag from every loot crate, maybe an assortment of stuff from their various crates. I dunno, I’m just rambling on ideas, but I feel like the quality of stuff for the price you pay is starting to get lower, even doubly so if you don’t like the theme of the crate for that month so you’ve got to wait another month for something you might be interested in

Too bad they screwed me on all 3 of my orders from June and I just received 2 of the 3 boxes today.... still waiting on the 3rd. I am glad I was able to help you out with your affiliate code but I will never order from them again. They have the worst customer service. It took literally 2 weeks to get a human response from them, first response was an automated email message (3 days later) based on what it thought I was asking. The only lootcrate-style box I've tried that has been worth a damn has been Lootaku. It's an anime crate that always includes at least 1, usually 2, good quality figures (sometimes really big ones too), with some cool other things in there that have always been pretty nice (with some exceptions, it's a random loot crate so shit happens). Even their pins are insanely better than anything Loot Crate has ever produced. I've tried Loot Crate a couple times, Loot Gaming several times, LootAnime several times, and the now-defunct Arcade Block a few times, and they've always been basically trash. Plus, unlike Loot Crate, their service isn't shit. It comes from china (they import their stuff from japan, no worries about getting bootlegs) yet their shipments take like 3 days to get to my place. Meanwhile Loot Crate takes 3+ weeks after the crate was supposed to ship to even send theirs out and it takes 2+ weeks to get here in Canada. It's HORRIBLE, I always got my boxes over a month late. The lastest lootaku box had 2 possible figures you could get from My Hero Academia, but they realized the one of them, the Deku figure, had previously been in LootAnime (not even their own service) so instead of just giving you one of them randomly customers could email them (with picture proof) to guarantee getting the figure they didn't have. That's going above and beyond, they had no obligation to do that. I got my Bakugo figure no problem.
Yeah, why do they fold the poster? It really messes it up, totally unusable. I wish they'd do scroll style banners that fit in the box. Then you can have a, like, medieval kind of banner wall with the collection of banner posters, without creases. Great vid, love the unboxing!!
I enjoy the Loot Wear line most of all. Every now and then I get a basic Loot Crate and Loot Gaming. I also get the J.K. Rowling Wizarding Crate sometimes.

I'd probably still get Lootcrate, if it wasn't so damn expensive for Australia. $40 a month for the standard crate. Even converted to USD it's twice the normal cost and with bulk shipping, I highly doubt it costs $15 to ship each crate.

I really want the marvels ones but the latest one was Spider-Man and the items in the box didn’t appeal to me too much even tho Spider-Man’s one of My favourites. Hopefully they’ll be one worth buying soon and I can open it up on my channel too

My experience is when I have the $$$ the Marvel Crate has been the best value for me. The Gaming one is more my go to because it's more affordable.
