That is the grown up version, or more appropriately, the big word version, of the child with cookie crumbs all over his face saying "Ididn't do it! it was the dog"
“It’s the last bit of privacy I have left” he claimed As if everything we know about him hasn’t come from him. The only reason people are talking about cancer is cause he’s been running around saying he has cancer. He wants the pity party and shield of going “boohoo I have cancer so I can’t be held responsible and it’s my birthday so you can’t be mad at me on my birthday so if you think I did anything wrong and point it out it’s cause you want me to die boohoo” but since people aren’t buying it he’s dropped the pity party act and is screaming liar at people over the phone while lying about the likelihood that he forgot he was being recorded. Cause he seems to want to have on record him saying coffee is nice and he appreciates him but not himself shift the narrative multiple times over the course of the conversation. He’s pathetic at this point. I don’t even think he believes anything he’s saying anymore. “Money is all gone” I have never heard used to say I already have plans for the money. I’ve heard “The money’s all going into _____” to refer to having money but not being able to spend it because of an upcoming bill.
Remember, he said he would have shown a couple people for free the night before. But now when 80,000 is up for grabs, he won’t show one person in private.

Yep I lied about an illness when i was 10 and immediately felt shitty and knew it was wrong and told the truth not even with 10 minutes after lol. He had it made having a youtube channel with millions of subscribers
For real. Listening to him get flustered and scream when it's obviously no one is buying his BS, reminds me of how I was a problem child pre-teen trying to lie my way out of something I 100% did. Thank goodness I grew out of it, maybe Goobie will someday.
I dont know about you but if I Was in debt Had a severe illness Had to do horrible things to pay for it And someone said to me "here's $80k to give your medical info to a neutral third party to prove that you have that illness you claim you have" I would take such an offer in a second.
If you just rewatch that documentary about him it's clear he's lying about his finances too. He keeps going on about how he's broke but in the same documentary he says he casually spent $20k that year on holidays with his gf.
Like Metokur said, he gets money, a trip to Disney World, and the opportunity to make Keemstar have to apologize for doubting him, there is zero reason for him to not take it besides him not actually having cancer.
@@AustinAOkay Some start to believe their own lies if told often enough. The pathological liar types really annoy me the most, cos when you eventually realise the person they are, you then begin to question your entire existence when being around this person. And the most frustrating thing is all the wasted time spent by listening to all the nonsense.
I have cancer. it took me nearly two years to tell people other then my immediate family. I can't even picture lying about cancer. the amount of people wishing and praying for a clean bill of health and boogie poisoning himself and is almost happy being ill while lying about cancer.
Hey rich, why don’t you wanna tell more people? If you feel like you have a close community, please share, if you are comfortable. I say this bc I’m a city girl but had some rural activities and so I met a lot of country folks. A lot of them older white people. I left to college, took a gap year, graduated, and came back to find that so many of them had been dead for years. When you’re young and just starting your life sometimes it feels like everyone will still be there when you return, frozen in time. It doesn’t go that way. I really regretted it. I live in America where politically things are really divided, I am black. And I really wish I had spent some more times with those folks and formed some better memories with them and in those lands, bc I would *not* set foot out there now. Really a lost opportunity to learn more about people different from me, a lost opportunity to form community with a different generation and different culture, and now with the way things are, I don’t think I’d ever go back. If you trust your community, let them know. They may regret so deeply in a couple of years bc they thought that they’d always have a “tomorrow” with you. Hope you get well so that telling them isn’t even necessary to begin with. That is plan #1 ofc, but if there’s any chance, please consider letting your community be there for you.
@@Limitedonathios i won't speak for rich, but i didn't share my diagnosis for weeks (and at first only to close friends, because i was drunk) out of fear and shame. i can't even quantify or describe the fear or shame - they were just extremely prominent emotions that hung around the topic and i couldn't bring myself to talk about it because of the intensity of those emotions it was then very relieving when i did, and word spread and people were supportive but never suffocatingly so i got extremely lucky with an experimental treatment (i outright refused any kind of aggressive treatment because i saw a grandparent just wither away under such treatment while tackling their own diagnosis), and wish everyone else the best on their own road to recovery. i also strongly urge anyone trying to cope with a diagnosis watch hank green's self-documented journey through his own treatment - i found it extremely comforting, strangely even the parts where his treatment was hurting him as part of the trade-off 'faking cancer' is... like, i can't even. of all the things to use the basis for a monetary scam, opting for a life-threatening illness diagnosis? :(
I understand, I had it too and it took so long to speak on it. Idk why but I just didn't want to be pitied. I'm praying for your cancer to go into remission, you're strong and can make it through. Don't give up ❤

Don't you understand that he really had to scam people for $5000 for cancer treatment (please ignore how he refused $80,000 to show his cancer diagnosis lol)
Medical student. Boogie gave himself away when he said they checked a hormone and he had it. Erythroproietin is a hormone and is the secondary test to check if its primary or secondary polycythemia. A biopsy would be needed to 100% confirm he doesn't have cancer but its obviously not necessary which is why he has to ask for it. My guess is he thought he had cancer at first from googling it after his visit. Announced it. Found out after from his doc it wasn't cancer but just kept rolling with it.
That's a good point but boogie is a moron and the general population is usually very uneducated even on their own conditions. So you could plausibly argue that by "hormone" he actually meant they took his blood and found a JAK2 mutation. Though personally I believe he's way more malicious than that and just lied for pity points and money.
Same thoughts here. At best, he misinterpreted his diagnosis - maybe his doctor said a form of polycethemia is a type of cancer, or he Googled polycythemia and got a result for polycethemia vera and assumed that is what he was diagnosed with - and this misinterpretation is what he had told everyone since; or at worst, he wilfully falsely misrepresented the diagnosis for his personal gain. Still, to give him the benefit of the doubt and to apply Hanlon's razor, I'd much prefer it to be the former.
Don't you think your doctor would say the word "cancer" to you, if you had it though? And if you weren't sure and just looked it up... shouldn't you run it by your doctor before playing to victim and announcing it to millions of people online? Thank you for your comment! But I do think you may be giving him a little more credit than what it warranted.
Boogie is a pathological liar and only cares about himself. Boogie likely saw vera when he looked up his diagnosis and saw it as a new shield to use against people.

Why the fuck does Boogie sheepishly allow Keemstar to make him grovel on his knees and throw icecubes at him at his 4th of July party yet screams in incoherent rage at Coffeezilla?
Because he can't pretend like he's just doing a bit. He committed fraud. That's the thing about narcissists: When all else fails, they'll hide behind self-depreciation. And if you push them past that, they'll explode because nobody is allowed to criticize them except them.
Boogie sees keemstar as a path to success and a way to get attention (specifically pity). Coffee is catching him in a lie with no way for him to wriggle is way out. When a narcissist is cornered and/or exposed they go into overdrive mode and get aggressive. Nothing is more terrifying or angering to a narcissist than being held accountable and been shown they're the wrong doers.
Cancer doctor here. I’ve seen many lovely people die from this disease. Once I had a patient who died, and I found a gofundme he’d started to cover his expenses. He’d raised $20. Wonderful guy with a sweet family who loved him very much. Meanwhile this sack of garbage raises thousands while faking cancer to spend on hookers, his mortgage, whatever. Absolutely infuriating.
Terrible, so tragic…. My mother passed from cancer a few years ago… But wait, if you’re really a cancer doctor, can you please expand on his “animal crossing” form of cancer, which I guess means it’s very light/not too dangerous.
@@jjmusicarchive2998so sorry for your loss. As for boogie, I can’t say I’ve followed everything he’s said. But from what I’ve seen, he’s saying he has polycythemia vera, a disease that, while it’s a blood cancer, is not aggressive at all and is something people can live with for many decades taking minimal if any medications. Further, some of the things he’s said about his polycythemia don’t really add up. Which is probably why so many people are doubting him.
People like you make a lot of sacrifices mentally to help people at their worst every day. Utmost respect for nurses and doctors like yourself. 👍 Boogie really is despicable
Lmao ok bud, no oncologist would ever refer to themselves as a “cancer doctor”. I’m only a nurse but I’ve worked with dozens of them. What do you get out of making up some story? It’s so weird
I have a chronic illness. I’m always willing to show my records proving I am in fact diagnosed with it the second someone claims I’m faking it (because, unfortunately, that’s where we’re at right now, thanks to TikTok fakers.) the fact that boogie refuses to prove he has CANCER!? That’s disgusting. But it’s honestly very in line with the type of beast he really is. What a piece of shit. I grew up going to work with my grandmother when she couldn’t find anyone to babysit me when I was a little girl. She worked at a hospital specifically for cancer patients. The amount of suffering I just *glimpsed* at 9, 10, 11 years old? It shattered my heart and gave me a better understanding that kindness is better than being cruel. Anyone who fakes having a disease as atrocious as cancer? They don’t deserve anything good in life.
@@shadominx3696 Exactly right. Maybe everyone is not conditioned to be this way, but I am always happy to show my records when I claim to have an chronic illness. I haven't really every faced scrutiny except when I was younger and didn't have the proof ready to go. And unfortunately, it seems like everyone has witnessed what cancer does so choosing cancer was a bold choice on Boogie's part. He should have chosen something more obscure lol.
He probably doesn't even have it if he was blantly admitted that it "may not be cancer but the symptom may be as it is" and yet screaming like a 5 yr old calling us liars when yet the facts were straight from his live streams
It was such a bad red flag from the interview when you said “I hope you get better” and he said “It’s cancer, you don’t really get better.” Not only is that such a defeatist attitude that cancer patients generally don’t have, but it felt like he needed to just throw out the word cancer more; that’s just not how cancer patients will talk about their disease.
The phone call segments gives me strong "jaded customer support agent trying to help a man too angry to be helped", and simultaneously it gave me PTSD and delight.
It occurs to me that anyone could contact Mercy Hospital and offer to make a small payment toward his cancer treatment. Then, the hospital would still be protecting confidentiality when they say, “We have no patient of that name receiving such treatment.”
It's the face any parent trying to deal with a child throwing a temper tantrum makes. "They'll tire themselves out eventually, until then I'll deal with the migraine" The fact Boogie is theoretically a 30+ year old man just makes it sadder
I remember when he went on the Co-optional podcast 100 years ago before I knew who/what he was. I was really struck by how honest and down to earth he came across for a dude who genuinely seemed to be going through such a rough time. I was thoroughly charmed and even remember thinking I would be excited whenever he came on again. I can't stop thinking about how absolutely bizarre that must sound now. Id listen but its not worth hearing TBs voice and getting emotional to clown on a loser whos already reaping what he sowed.
the funniest trend among these people (Boogie, Logan Paul etc) is how they will talk up Coffeezilla as a man of integrity, and then completely flip and insult him when he covers their exploits in his videos
the Coffeezilla effect never fails to blow my mind. Before Coffeezilla: "hey coffee, love your work, your intergreity speaks bounds and I think it's extremely righteous how candid and upfront you are about everything you do." After Coffeezilla: "man, fuck coffeezilla. He's a liar and a fraud, and he edited everything I said to make me look bad." Every. Single. Time.

Did you watch the video? The cancer diagnosis isn't what's under contention. It's that Boogie defrauded people and lied about not being about to return the money

Him getting angry and yelling over being called out shows he has no excuses left and knows he's been trapped. If what he was saying was true about it being set aside for future medical payments, he would have explained that calmly. If he also doesn't want to be scrutinized and accused of lying so much, he should stop lying and scamming people.

Yeah, my sister died in December at age 38 of cancer. She actually was expected to die three years ago, but actually one in remission. But then she had a headache and it turned out that it was hiding or something in her body and a month after she discovered it reemerged, she died. to think that someone would lie about that to get money is beyond frustrating.
Actually, you don't technically need a cancer test for the kind of cancer Boogie claimed he had. It's my understanding that he claimed he had a condition called polycythemia vera, which is a form of bone marrow cancer where your body produces far too many red blood cells, to the point that it can become life threatening. From a clinical standpoint, you can detect it fairly easily, not just by the fact that the outward symptoms are rather obvious (especially when Boogie's been naked multiple times), but by the fact that basic hematology tests would indicate too many red blood cells. Standard lab tests, that basically everyone gets when they get bloodwork done, can reveal the presence of this condition... after which a physician can then order more specific testing and things like biopsies of the marrow. Bottom line: if you handed me any basic bloodwork that this guy's had, I could tell you if he was lying or not... but the fact that Boogie's clearly using evasive, defensive, and shady language in response to basic questions indicates he's almost certainly lying.

What a damn good point
That last line is the biggest "oof" in all of this. An honest person would jump on that immediately.

Why the fuck does Boogie sheepishly allow Keemstar to make him grovel on his knees and throw icecubes at him at his 4th of July party yet screams in incoherent rage at Coffeezilla?
Because keemstar let’s him get money from the podcast
Because he can't pretend like he's just doing a bit. He committed fraud. That's the thing about narcissists: When all else fails, they'll hide behind self-depreciation. And if you push them past that, they'll explode because nobody is allowed to criticize them except them.
Because nobody has high expectations for Keemstar's behavior.
Because one is paying him and one is not. Same reason a wifebeater won't scream at his boss but will punch his spouse around.

“I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a cancer test today.” - J. Wellington Boogie
Holy shit this the best comment, you sir deserve the higher likes! 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
My grandparents would be proud of you for this one
