So glad you are back on the EV conversion.
I thought you stopped or sold the car.
My wife has a 1990 240 Volvo sedan. this is her 4th one.
She just had a bunch of engine work done and it should last many more years.
Next step would definitely be an EV conversion.
Really looking forward to the next videos.
    Thank you
    Bill Compton

    Glad you’re back!
Wish I could pay someone like you to work on my 745 Turbo rather than the folks who don’t really seem to care about the car all that much …

Wouldn’t an electric 164 technically just be called a 1e4?

    Great progress David!
Would be awesome to see a part list for everything you replaced. I've got a 1971 144 deLuxe, I would like to change over to front ventilated discs if they fit. I think I'd have to change the brake callipers and get new hubs for the bearings just not sure if the spindles are the same and also the backing plate.

It's great to see progress on the electric 164. I must say you have an interesting life. You move from mechanical work on an old auto to rehearsals for a theatre show (I presume). I think you have all the bases covered. Cheers.

Use SuperLube brand NLGI 2 silicon synthetic grease with urethane bushes! Food grade!

Why the respirator, Dave? There's no more asbestos in brake pads, right?

There’s a lot of rust and paint in the air when I work
