- Twilight Princess is the game that made me DESPISE the Zelda series as a kid. It would eventually be the very game that re-introduced me to the franchise years later with the HD port of the game on Wii U. However, to this day I have never beaten the game. So today, I plan to change that...

What's your favorite Zelda game?
You already know mine. (Look at the top comment)
the minish cap is in my top 3 and its one of the most unpopular games for no reasons
Tie between BoTW and Majora's Mask
Mine is TP Links Awakening and probably BOTW.
Twilight Princess.
It has so many frustrating parts for me (as with everyone else), but one that always stood out to me is that Link never tells anyone he is the Wolf that's running around and explains to the allies that are guiding him through the temples what is going on. So when they all come to help him in the final dungeon, it feels so undeserved!
I love TP, but I can't ignore its flaws.
I've never had an issue with the opening to Twilight Princess. I've never understood the hate it gets.
I loved it since the first playthrough
Exactly, never had a problem with the opening either, I think It really shows Link's life and how the whole Zant situation really endangers that life, it makes everything more personal. I don't know, I like the opening, it suits the game very well imo.
Same. Played through the intro, never had a problem with it. It does a good job showcasing Link’s life on the ranch with his friends, before he turns into a wolf and the children getting taken.
I've never been a huge story person and TP takes forever before the player really does anything fun.
That’s probably just a “you” problem.
This is not only my favorite Zelda game, but my favorite video game of all time. The characters and plot are just SO GOOD. I think it would make the best TV show.
It’s funny my experience was the exact opposite. These kinds of games were like a dream that I didn’t want to end, so every time there seemed to be more temples than I expected, I was elated. Even went as far as that I stopped playing at the ending because I didn’t want my experience with the game to be over lol. Unless a game gets repetitive, I couldn’t understand why anyone doesn’t want a game to be long (pacing issues aside though, I agree the beginning was somewhat slow. But I was already a fan so I was hyped enough to enjoy it anyway)
”The beginning of the game is very slow; but we’ll get to that in due time”
I think it has one of the strongest openings, it forces you to get invested in the story. Dropping you right in the middle of a deep conversation was a brilliant decision
TPis both a very unique Zelda game and the peak Zelda game, like all Zelda experiences meld into one game.
I respect your opinion on Twilight Princess. To me, this is my favorite Zelda game for it’s characters, dungeons, combat, items, and of course, Midna.
My favorite video game of all time
I've never ever had an issue with TP. Wind Waker was my first Zelda game, and ever since then I was hooked. Yes the opening was slow, but God was it worth getting through. TP is my absolute favorite of all time Zelda game (yes, I love it more than TotK and BotW)
Unfortunately my Wii and GameCube broke so I lost the ability to properly play both TP and WW (as both games wouldn't run on Dolphin until recently for me)
Anywho, TP has in my opinion, the BEST companion character in Midna. The story in general is just incredible. My friends heard me finish TP yesterday and were like "are you... Crying?" "YES" lmao.
After not being able to play it for over 8 years, I 100%'d TP in just over 25 hours. Still cried at the end. Loved it, and I always will
Midna is THE goat. No one has topped her to this day tbh
21:00 Ganondorf always has limited appearances in Zelda games, lol. Idk why that's even an arguing point for twilight princess.
Ganondorf is basically in every Zelda game except for Majora’s Mask and Skyward Sword.
I never played any game in the Zelda series until recently, except some Minish Cap, but I dropped it halfway. I tried again recently and I played Breath of the Wild and it was the thing that helped me to love a gaming again. I will try Wind Waker and Twilight Princess next.
Thank you for video!
23:12: That's a lot of "light" in one sentence.
Me: * laughs in Kingdom Hearts *
And someone who just started kingdom hearts, I feel like I should be scared
Oh, you'll be fine. Despite what I said, the word "light" isn't thrown around quite as much as a Kingdom Hearts remembers. Now *DARKNESS* on the other hand...
This game was a follow up after ocarina of time cannonically, a direct sequal to ocarina of time. thats what helped make it awesome
It also had some things from Link to the Past.
And Majora as well
Ocarina of Time had three direct sequels: Majora's Mask, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. All three are sequels to Ocarina
@@stavrosbegetis2173 And in both Wind Waker & Twilight Princess's stories Ganondorf also kicks the bucket by that version of Link for the continuity of there stories I think not 100% sure.
@@seasonembrace3624 could you rephrase your last message? I don't follow
I remember having the oppositve problem with WindWaker, IT'S TOO SHORT,, I WANTED MORE
you eventually have to move on from side characters' stories, in any game or piece of media in general. you saved the kids, they're not in immediate danger now so you don't have to focus solely on them anymore. any extra quests revolved around them would've been considered padding, and honestly there was simply nothing else to say about them.
Everyones entilted to their own opinion. Twilight princess was actually one of my favorite games I grew up on as a little tike… between the good music to great dungeons and wild link, I’d say that game atleast deserves a 8/10… then again you strike me as someone who considers links awakening their favorite game lmao
Awesome Video Bro! You know Sonic Unleashed is Sonic's Version of Twilight Princess.
This is so true. Unleashed is the goat
Yep.
Fun Fact: Twilight Princess came out the same year as Sonic 06. Sonic Unleashed also came out on November 18, one day before Twilight Princess came out on the Wii in November 19.
Nice!
You hated every Zelda game…
As a kid I used to wake up early just to have extra time to be a hater
Btw Happy Easter.
You certainly have opinions
Spicy ones.
I have a wii u in my closet but setting it up isn’t worth it when I have an emulator on my pc lol.
28:17 BUFF NOAH
twilight princess got more fun after sonic frontiers taught you how to play video games
