I mean they never ended up making a 135is, they were going to but the scrapped the idea before they went into production, They’re just a 135i M sport package brake
you dont need to do the 5 lugs conversion anymore just need 312x25mm 4x100 from 300mm website they got the brakets as well fitting the 135i caliper. and done!
So those are e46 m3 rotors, e82 135i calipers, but are those e46, or e36 hubs? And are you going to use the same method for mounting back under the car to the strut with the sleeve adapter? Or possibly will the ground control setup work that they sell for the 5 lug swap.
You are correct and I am using E36M3 front spindles so this takes care of not using a hub sleeve or spacer like on the S54 car. The ground control is a custom setup as the tops are e30 and the bottoms are e36m3.
Quick question are the e36 m3 front spindles the same as non m3 e36 front spindles? and if they are the same then I should be able to still run the e46 m3 rotors correct?
Unfortunately e36 M3 spindles and non M are different. You will have to use E36M3 spindles to use E46M3 rotors. ECStunning offers a kit to run E46M3 CSL rotors on the E36M3.
Why not run e46 m3 front calipers on both cars? Are the 1 series calipers a better upgrade than the e46? Are there any draw backs to either caliper for the e30 5 lug as far as unsprung weight distribution.
MarkyD GFX Honestly, the 135i calipers are a pound or two heavier and I’m sure it will make a difference in unsprung weight but I’m not sure if the driver will be able to tell. I am doing this project to see if it is indeed possible and what are the benefits and negatives of doing this swap. I do understand that the engine differences are very different (S54 vs S62) but I do want to try to understand how the brakes operate/perform differently between the cars. I’m sure the 135i brakes are an upgrade to the e46 M3 calipers as ECS carries conversion kits for the last few months for it and that makes me think ECS wouldn’t carry it if there wasn’t a performance gain. We will see as soon as I get these rears sorted out.
Mecca Werks well I’m really interested in your findings/results as and I’m looking for a brake upgrade for my turbo s50 e30 I’m building right now can’t wait to see how your builds turn out really inspired but what you’re doing ✊

Great information shared. The link doesn't open. Has that company closed?
Unfortunately, I believe so.

I needed to go 5 lug to work the coilovers and whatnot but I do like that kit!
Which website ? Reboot ? I want to stay 4 lug

Great build, do 17" wheels fit over these brakes?
So far, yes. Still working on which offsets are best.
Hi would this fit a z3? I know the m3 36 knuckles carrier bolt holes is different to a none m same as the rear
hi, I have E30 with 17" wheels and I have the same calipers as yours. Can you advise the exact size of rotors for front and rear?
Rotors are e46 M3 front. 325x28 and rears are e46 ZHP and are 322x25.

MarkyD GFX Thanks! I really appreciate it! Just fighting to get these rears finished.
