I love this channel and how dedicated you are to it. Always heaps of technical information and awesome builds. Long time follower here. Even used your full write up to swap my m62 into my e30. Its now supercharged making 483whp. All started with your book!

Thank you! I was going to use the same brake kit but the M3 version. Saved me a headache!

I have 4x100 and the same 16x8j style 5 from e38, redrilled to 4x100. Stock hubs. According to what I saw, front calipers should not touch the wheel with the 318i/325i kit right?😍 I have been using e30 325i brakes for a long time because I could not find a brake kit that fits with 100% certainty

@Garageaholic, thanks for always making these information videos for e30 heads. I saw that Clips now offers a complete set with brake disc plus the rear bearings, will this kit still work with most of the 5x120 bmw wheels? A review video would also be nice once you get some time ofcos.

Yes it will work! It’s all about the offset, which these kits maintains e30 offset

i got my ireland engineering bbk the other day and the rotors seem wobbly and my wheel does not spin freely at all i can’t even turn it without a lot of force any idea what it could be ? it doesn’t need to be shimmed it sits perfectly center

Likely it’s hitting the tie rod. Need to remove rotor and shave the toe rod to allow clearance.

spacers is bad.....i use e36 front suspension with e46 325mm diesel brake rotors direct fit and stock 318Ti back rotors as well,so no spacers

Spacers are fine. Very common. Good to hear about your setup! Thanks for sharing

@@Garageaholic reason is because of 300+ hp and r17 is because r16 doesn’t fit…unfortunately, and you need brake for this power, you know…
