That was awesome :) Love that you did the whole concert! Yes, she is a special one and not just as an artist. Now that you've set a precedent, I think you have to do the whole Nidarosdomen concert. I mean... Words cannot describe what you will see there and although seeing the songs individually is great, getting them in succession, they way its meant to be experienced is an experience on another level. If you do that, I'm sure you, as so many others, will question if she's even human :) Highly recommended. Thank you, this was great.

Beautiful... I'm pretty sure Aurora is one of the purest human beings on this planet!

The guy on the guitar is "Odd Martin Skålnes" a Norwegian musician. Aurora actually did warmup act(s) for his show before she was famous in 2013. Then he joined her band from Jan 2014 to Dec 2016, and they still kept contact, and he helped her write and produce several songs.

if you want to catch a very fun and honest glimpse into her amazing self - I highly recommend reacting to the SOS Ole Bull charity concert which is also a 3 song set. You'll be glad you did!

"Half The World Away" is a cover of an Oasis song, but the line "My body feels young but my mind is very old" fits Aurora really well, specially here in 2015 where she looks ~14-15 years old but is actually 19, and she also feels like she has an "old soul".
The department store "John Lewis" chose Aurora for their 2015 Christmas ad campaign, and they chose this Oasis song for her. It was the "Man On The Moon" ad with an old guy stuck and lonely on The Moon.

So awesome that you decided to watch and react to this entire performance. Although only three songs, I feel like it was a bit of a breakthrough for her. I consider all three songs her best live performances of all three, although by her own admission, she was very scared.

“Half the World Away” was written by Noel Gallagher. It’s a cover of an Oasis song.

Very cool reaction. And all 3 songs beautiful songs from there in one reaction + interview. I guess you only missed some official interview where she bring cone. And yes she was very nervous even if her performance was just incredible. And even in such stress situation she has really good way of expressing her thoughts:). She has very interesting personality and free spirit too :).

Thanks for your reaction video to Aurora at the 2015 Noble Peace Prize awards concert. She was still 19 years old at this performance. The first song 'Half the World Away' is a cover of a song by the British band Oasis. Of course 'Runaway' and 'Murder Song (5,4,3,2,1)' are compositions by Aurora. Her touring band consists of a female vocalist/bass keyboardist, a keyboardist/backing playback tech., guitarist and drummer - the three guys also sing backing vocals. Here, she also had the string orchestra for the first song.
The guitarist/singer is O.Martin who has been with her from the beginning of her career. He also writes with her and is one of the producers. He's moved on to do his own art since a few years ago. She is now almost 27 and has written, produced and performed really varied music since this concert.
If you have the time, or bookmark and watch in parts, this interview with LifeKeys Talks is very revealing: th-cam.com/video/RvQDScUquYA/w-d-xo.html

    This was great😍
Only Aurora can sing a song about murder at a Nobel peace prize concert😅
In the end, when she was finished with the interview, she said to the cameraman: “You have to remember to take a break from that heavy camera”💕
She’s so adorable, but she can curse, and it’s so funny when she does that because you don’t expect her to (at least not in the beginning)😅
The insect she loves the most are moths, she collects them (dead of course) and she has a lot of them😊
If you want to watch/listen to the most beautiful harmonies, check out:
“It Happened Quiet” live at Current
The song was inspired by domestic violence, and in the end she comes back to haunt the one that hurt/killed her (it has nothing to do with murder song)
The harmonies between Aurora and her backup vocalist Silja Sol is so beautiful😍 This is a song from her EP “Infections Of A Different Kind” 2018
If you want to check out some more upbeat songs:
“Running with the wolves” official video (I recommend watching the music video first, then you can do her live version later👍)
“Under the water” live at VevoHalloween or Honda Stage
Both of these songs are from her first album “All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend” 2016, like the other originals you’ve reacted to + Half a world away 👍

She has been singing since 2012. … I am just discovering her now. (I mean recently) I feel like I really missed out! But better late than never. She is just wonderful. I love her singing so much.
Music for Global Peace … I think she should duet with Dimash. Wouldn’t that be spectacular!

At the concert it might be good to know that she was one of the survivors of the Breivik attack. mass murderer Breivik hunted down and murdered 77 youths/adults in cold blood in Oslo. The school classes were on a mini island on a class trip and had no way of escaping. one of the most violent killing sprees ever. Documentaries and films are highly recommended.

A couple of errors here. Aurora was not one of the survivors, she wasn’t there, but she knew one of those who was murdered that day. And it wasn’t a school trip, it was a youth camp arranged by the Norwegian social democrat party, which Breivik hated, so the victims were very deliberately targeted by him.
