Check out Mark's first Show and Tell livestream on the fantastic channel Mark's Shrimp Tanks. This is a very quick video which I posted to his Facebook page for critique, and thankfully he was very kind. And he's absolutely right, I do overfeed this tank!

Great looking tank! I’m thinking about adding some nano fish to my tank - mainly to take care of mosquito larvae.

Thank you so much. I got these as they're tiny but the other day I found one with a bloodworm stuck in its mouth (video to follow) so I'm sure they could eat newborn shrimolets. This tank has a lot of cover so I got away with it, but if I had expensive shrimp or was breeding for profit, I would think carefully.

@PureAndShrimple good idea. I'm no shrimp expert but I also know that copper is deadly, so I'm sure you know to check for copper in any fertilizers you might use

@FishRfun since I heard that I stopped using any ferts and I no longer use the hot tap as apparently that can come through copper pipes over here!

@PureAndShrimple ahhh...I see. Well I have full confidence you'll have a tank full of happy shrimp soon. I love that you use botanicals as they provide great surfaces for biofilm to grow and that's great for shrimplets

Like you say, they're breeding so hopefully they're happy on the whole. I know I'm overfeeding them. I just love seeing them all come out! But Mark pointed out that the botanicals are also food so they have plenty in there without the flakes and pellets and vegetables 😂
