I think the No Pants Song should've been incorporated in the musical. I would've loved to see the build in his character from a stubborn person who is still injured from the divorce and refuses to put on pants to a father who is willing to do whatever it takes for his son, no matter what the past held and to encourage others to do the same as well. This comparison between pants, though seen as stupid, actually really shows his character and how he changed throughout the musical.
I think I went too far into this....
