Everybody loves George. When I first started watching,I liked Kramer more but then George grew on me,he is a fantastic character and I believe he is the actual lead. Most stories revolve around him,the best episodes revolve around him and he is the best actor among all 4 greats.

No the convict status had nothing to do with it. It was just the fact she was locked up and he could avoid having a normal relationship. Don't you get it none of these characters wanted to settle down. They all made excuses to get out of any relationship or date that was leading to something serious.

Yeah but George is without a doubt the most morally depraved. He was happy to see his fiance die in the stamp licking poisoning and then this. He ruined her life.
Kramer almost killed a whale while golfing.. and caused a huge traffic jam and car wrecks by painting over highway lane lines. Elaine tried to seduce the nbc guy and helped george get back at his boss.
This was one of the best written episodes of Seinfeld. Jerry and Kramer with the rooster and bounced checks Elain with the bald boyfriend And the boyfriend getting mistaken for George was a twist that only the genius of this show can justify.
I suppose any woman that has been in prison for a long time and not had the luxury of experiencing the comfort of being in a man’s arms would find George attractive and settle.
I haven’t seen this episode, but just watching the scene at 3:27 I audibly said “Oh no.” when the warden mentioned George’s reference would be a deciding factor to parole.
This episode was during a run of insanely great episodes. Ridiculous, stupid funny. True, the show would not have existed but for Larry David, and his influence was surely there even after he left. But things went to another level after he did. For some, it jumped the shark. For most of us, though, it was just unleashed, manic, crazy fun. Loved the last two seasons.
I think Jerry always had a major impact for all 9 seasons, with or without Larry David, he was the main glue of the show even in story and dialogue writing, after all the show was named after him
