literally the best part of every expedition is when the music kicks in, especially when you earn a new starship, it makes the moment so amazing and overwhelming, I love it, NMS music just hypes me up when I hear it, getting started first thing in the morning, I'll also remember to pack an indium drive this time!
I've been playing this expedition without using my mining laser or ship laser for anything more than restoration of terrain when I see some I can restore, unless it leads to something useful of course, then I'll leave it there for other Travellers and there's only three milestones I won't be able to complete this way, but luckily I did the expedition last time around so nothing much is lost from the killing/mining milestones. That first planet was insane the first time around, but much better this third time.
For the 2 droids, the game now points to the system you need. Highlight the stage, open galaxy map and it flags the system for you. You still need make a blue drive. Lots of the other goals can be done in the first system.
Pointing out certain locations for unique badges can help reduce grindy searches. This video will help many Travelers. As always Captain! (For myself, I try to stretch out Expeditions a bit more, just because I enjoy the game). Thanks again!
Easiest way to get the nanites is scanning all creatures on a single planet, if you find a planet with 5 lifeforms and scan them all you get a bonus of 250 nanites per species so 5 species all creature bonus is 1250 nanites...
The first warp jump you do opens the ability to summon the anomaly. The red and blue planet in front of you Verem XIV coordinates -6.64, -75.60. 18 landing pads and all Utopia blueprint terminals cause I got bored and already ran Adrift so I built an Emporium.
Well, I hated this expedition. I've only been playing since early september so I missed the first go at it, but everything about it stank. I woke up and there was a storm. Every rendezvous point was at night AND in a storm. I also got a worm burrow appearing under my ship. I nearly gave up and named my base "Do I Really Want The Vulture". I died in the freighter - not to any exploding cans or even environment, but one of those jellyfish things touched me. I've got just the last rendezvous point, to complete the whole thing, but my biggest problem was that I couldn't claim rewards because of lack of inventory space, so there's that. Thank you for the glitch tip - I had no idea. Next I'm going to look at how that works. Thanks for this upload, it helped a lot!
All I needed to know was what the name of the starting system was because I forgot which station and your screen answered my question with the planet name at 00:50 🎉 So for me, at least, this video title is accurate amd surprisingly quick about it!
Just refining the flesh ropes, eggs, tainted metal and claiming nanites at the end of the derelict will get you enough nanites, no need to refine any goop. You can also do stare at the sky very easily on the starter planet, you’re there for a while so it will be dark at some point. And Steve… it’s “iNdium drive” with an N. Not “iDIum” :)
I agree. Having done the expedition earlier, don't see any reason to play it again. Love my hauler from it though. I put what I get from frigates and settlement once I filled up my storage bins and have so much extra, into the hauler and whenever I am somewhere (space station or trading post or a particular system via freighter) I sell at what is highest price. I fly to that particlar place to sell using my sentinel ship or fighter, in case I have to fight pirates or whatever on the way, then summon the hauler when selling. Easily became a billionaire plus.
I played this one last time around but this time around the metanarrative aspects really sunk in a lot more and I had a very different perspective on the experience. To say more would be spoilers though. I think the only thing I can say is that it involves Artemis in a sense.
Use your refiner to mix di-hydrogen & silicate powder to get deutrium. Di-hydrogen are the blue rocks on planet and silicate you get from the ground when mining!
Steve, expedition graphics etc were fine yesterday. Today the game is choppy on startup and in game play. Any suggestions? I didn’t change any settings on my pc etc. Game is barely playable today.
I'm wondering, could you salvage the Vulture and get the unique part and transfer that to your main save and reclaim the ship there? Edit: Hold on, I don't think you can salvage ships if stations don't have the machine there to do so. I guess you could copy your ship over from the expedition for nanites in your main save.
Have vulture as active ship when leaving expedition and you can claim it multiple times on main save at the expedition terminal for nanites then you can scrap it for the parts and then make a vulture in your preferred color scheme.

I love when you start a new game and visit a space station for the first time. It's epic.

Sounds like the exact same expedition that was before that. And before that, and before that

Starter planet has predator fauna... they stay out at night also...
@@CaptainSteveVPT I didn't have an issue the 2 times I've done it, but hey, you could always stand on top of your ship :)
Just to add also raidant shards, 10 = 500 nanites. Hope this helps folks.
Captain Steve! Captain Steeeevee. Flyin through the Euclid galaxy

I found droids not in a blue system so they seem to be elsewhere as well. Probably a lot more likely in blue systems though.
Thanks. Looks fun
stuck repairing ship, cant get ant Deuterium, everytime I find a plant it boosts my jump

Ikr?! I'm stuck there too.

I can't repair my laugh thrusters. I need tritium to make detrium. Wtf?!
Use Silicate Powder instead of Tritium.
