Vicente .. Yes me too!. I think I was doing too many adjustments dynamics is all you need and maybe turn on compression next to it !! Glad it helped.

The presenter in the video I'm working with breathes pretty loudly. When I apply this, if the sentence ends with an 's' it cuts it off. When I adjust the gatekeep again, then I can hear the breath. It seems to be one or the other for my speaker.

Start off low around -36 and ( depends on the voice) if it makes the voice strange ior cuts off words increase 1 at a time for example. For my own voice I normally end up at about -43
You can also adjust the attack and release settings.
Also you may need to add a de esser ( it's in the same area amplitude & compression > De Esser )
Unfortunately there is no magic setting. As each voice is different.
Keep tweaking the Dynamics module ..Good luck
Also there are some plug ins from Waves that might help !

Can you do this with all clips in a video or is it individual clips 1 at a time?

You can do it for the entire audio line or individual line.
For the entire line go to window>workspace> "audio"
in Track A1 you can click on the top left >
      add the dynamics effect
This will add it to the entire line A1 in audio

@@billbuckleytutorials still no luck. I have a motovlog. Because of the bike sound I can’t deal with the breath sounds. Or am I missing something?

@@DansFishingDiary Ahh a fellow Welshman. Love it.
Yea I doubt you can separate the bike sound from the breaths.
In all fairness you probably notice the breaths more than anyone else.
For action type shots it's normal I would say.
Your only fix might be getting something like the DJI mic ( it records to itself with the dead cat on it ) That way you can get nearer to your talking voice and the dead cat will keep the wind and breaths down. This also means less post work
