    Awesome video, all useful tips that I'm going to start using. For the part of having all files in project folder, I always do that. The only issue is Story Blocks - I have to set it to my project folder for every project. Wish they had a setting in the plugin folder to download to project folder - unless I'm missing something

    Nice tips, I'll use some of them but Ha. I have a way to be even faster with cutting 😎 given that you have a bit better mouse (Mx master) I've mapped the "cut all tracks" to one of my side keys (the up and down under the thumb), and "ripple delete" to the other one. As I usually have to cut through many tracks at the same time in my videos. All the best. Cheers 🤘😎

    When he started about moving assets I got an idea for a handy feature:
    Imagine having the option to let Premiere Pro automatically take all the files you use for your projct and copy them in a new "Project_Folder" (or even move them).
    I sometimes drag and drop things from my Chrome downloads directly into Premiere Pro without proper file management and later it's a hassle to find them

    Jordy, I know that you are into the new type of editing and making "tik-tok style" videos, but when I am watching them, I feel like I don't have the time to breathe and maybe it would be better if you just created a little space between your speeches. When everything is so intensive, it is very hard to not be overwhelmed.

    I’ve been using rush for 170 videos. Just got premier pro and I’m adapting.
    You have a tip about how if y press control + K it just makes a cut and I’m like wow. I wana have that on my keyboard short for c as well. So much faster.
    How do I change it??
    I’m trying to make premier pro as quick to edit on as rush was. Right now every one thing takes three clicks and four key strokes.

    • @PremiereBasics
      @PremiereBasics  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello :) To change the shortcut for setting a cut: Go to edit on top, then keyboard shortcuts. Type in 'Add edit'. Remove the 'Ctrl + K' shortcut and then click on the empty space. Now type 'C' and click ok. There you go! :)

    If you save your media assets in a project folder, do you duplicate the file if you need to use it again in a different project?

    • @PremiereBasics
      @PremiereBasics  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      For huge files that are used in almost every video, I personally like to have a 'main assets' folder which is then linked to all my projects. But I also have another assets folder with small stuff like stock clips, sound effects that are only meant for that video.
