KAMARAJAR BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

Maruti Seva School for Special Education celebrated the great leader Kamarajar's birth anniversary.
Perunthalaivar K. Kamarajar’s 122nd birthday was celebrated on 15.07.24 on our school campus. Our Correspondent S. Ramalingam Sir, our Principal C.S. Visalakshi Mam, and all staff members garlanded the photograph of Karmaveerar Kamarajar to pay him homage. Our Correspondent Sir lauded Kamarajar's great work with an introductory speech that began with a thirukkural, shared his school life experience,explained the importance of celebrating his birthday,spoke about
the foundation and influencing the development of the Midday Meal Scheme, which aimes at child nutrition and education,and also shared his vision and commitment to education and child welfare.
The program started with a prayer song, and our school’s Elementary I and Elementary II students performed speeches and programs commemorating the ideals of Kamarajar. A student from the elementary class, Divya Dharshini, followed by Siddhartha, Thamarai, and Karthickeyan, delivered speeches in Tamil and English. A short film about his life was shown to the students, which highlighted the importance of education.
This program helped the students enhance their knowledge about Karmaveerar Kamarajar’s victorious and simple life.
