I really like optimum gloss coat as a budget or beginner coating. So easy to apply and level. I can apply to half the car and then come back and level. Also Gtechniq CSL is awesome.
Not too many videos about essence plus showing the filling capabilities. I bought this a yr after i had my car coated and used it as a topper and man the hydrophobic properties are insane! Great video showing how to restore a aging coating!
Apex Detail I think a lot of us will wish you do pump out 2-3 videos a week but I understand how time consuming that is. You also have your business to run. Thank you for your time and effort.
I personally love Essence Plus. Only product that I’ve come across that easily removes tree poo stains while remaining safe for a coating. The hydrophobic properties are also awesome!
Love this stuff. Used to refresh my ceramic coating and in my opinion looks better than the Gyeon Mohs+ did when it was new 1 year ago. Great video Brian!
Yes sir, I already watched that video. I like this one because you choose your pad according to the severity of scratches, and my car has a minor imperfection, it’s been a year since a put ceramic coating, and I wash it as you do and it works! Ones again thanks Brian and more power!💪🏻
You saved my damn sanity with this product. I coated my Magma red F150 less than 3 months ago. I have only hand washed 2 bucket method twice. I used a mixture of ONR and Reload as a qd and I am seeing some light marring. I was pissed that I had scratched it. It is light, but enough to bother me. Glad to know I can give it a quick polish with this and have it back to the mirror finish it was!
@@apexdetail85thanks for the reply. They really are barely noticeable under an Led light, but enough to bother my ocd self. How would you suggest me clean it with just dust fallout on it? After it sits a few days it gets a layer of dust from the atmosphere here. I used the onr and reload mixed as a QD. I feel like this is where they came from as I didn't notice any marks after washing with two bucket and reset. I realized evertime you lay a microfiber towel to it you can get tiny marks. I just don't have time to wash and dry every 3 or for days for dust??
Ok, but I see where other viewers have asked the same questions about applying products to faded or surfaces that have not been washed, iron removed or polished. ✌
Excellent product ✊I used a regular ceramic coating on my wheels not the spray ceramic coating. I did purchase the Adams spray ceramic coating to apply on my Camaro SS just to get me through the winter. My car is really well protected but I figured I would give it a try for the ease of use. I guess I will see how it goes. I do have a ceramic coating kit from Adams the regular one. I just did not apply it yet. I was thinking in the spring and just use the spray coating for now 🤷🏼♂️Thanks for the video on this product 👍🏻
Nice video. My UK/Gliss job is a year old and need of a touch up. Been properly washed so very few micro scratches, just not quite the pop of the initial coating.
Great video. Thanks for the info. I have a couple of ceramic coated cars, so will help a ton. What was the lime green pad you used on the fender in the video?
Another cracking video. Love you brother. Essence Plus is one of my go to products for refreshing a coating too. My favourite topper is either Overcoat. Cosmic Spritz. Or Final Inspection Full Metal Jacket Spray Wax (Australian product. Which is awesome)
Your Videos are always great Brian! My wife just recently got a new 2018 Toyota Rav 4 .I would like to put a ceramic coating on it to protect it better as the clear seems a little on the soft side. What coating would you recommend ?
Does anybody in the business know just how thick ANY coating is and whether or not ANY polishing done, should be recoated?I think your right.I believe in coating for LONGEVITY OF the product but the way i see it,any polishing of ANY coating should be recoated.I also believe detailers are ripping people off with the prices they are charging to coat a car.I understand the coating products are expensive, but it's as easy or easier to apply a coating as it is a wax.And i'm not talking about a 1-2-3 step detail ,whether you wax a car or coat a car it still needs to be polished first for perfection.
Longevity ,not hardness should be the reason anyone uses coatings.I wonder just how much harder than a clearcoat (paint),if at all ,is as a coating? To me,it seemed like that car you polished had gotten as much scratched with the coating or without it.
True...I can tell you. The scrathes would have been much worse without the coating. Watch some of my correction videos...most of them went through the same automated wash tunnel.
Very good question. I asked the same on. FB group…and everyone said that clay barring was “risky”. So I washed my coated vehicle with Car Pro Reset, did an Iron and Tar remover, and moved onto Essence Plus.
Great video! I used Essence Plus much like you did but I used it on a coating that was less than a year old that had some surface scratches and it turned out great. I was thinking of trying a different coating in the spring once the weather breaks. Is there anything I should be concerned about applying a new coating when the previous one is still on the car?
This spring or if we get some warm weather here in Knoxville, I am going to put CQuartz TiO2 and all Carpro products on the Mustang. Is there a difference between that and the CQuartz UK 3.0 product?
Hi Brian. To restore a slightly clogged ceramic coating, what would you think of meguiar's deep-crystal polish?, A completely non-abrasive pure polish, just a chemical cleaner and polishing oils, it could clean the coating well without removing it? What do you think ?. And meguiar's D115 for a waterless wash for coatings would it be a good product, knowing that it has a fairly acidic ph (ph4) it would not damage a coating? Thank you in advance. Nico
Brian I ceramic coated+a top coat(carpro gliss)my vehicle a few weeks ago, all was great until the guys at the parking lot washed it with an improper method and now I have light swirls. What should I do now? Will essence plus with a soft pad work? Will the coating still be in tact or will this method remove it? Any other suggestions are welcomed. Thanks
so if I want this to go on top of an existing 2-3 year old coating, just wipe it down and go ahead and polish with the essence plus. No other prep needed?
I had my car profesionally opti coated 5 years ago, surprinsily the opti coating is still holding strong , but it has build up swirl marks . I maintained with reload every 2 months, and elixir everycar wash. The car looks fantastic. I m wondering if I could use this product for swirl marks, apply car pro gliss on top and call it a day?

I have used the spray on Overcoat from time to time and gone through a bottle of it. recently had a sunroof panel replaced but not recoated. Thinking I need to reseal/top this with what you are using. I do mine by hand (no orbital yet…). Thank you!
Brian, how do you know that a coating has worn its usefulness? If you use a hood,,strip it completely ,polish it and only coat 1/2 and the other half you use car pro's essence and then spray with reload ,how can you tell the difference between both sides ? i've done this very same thing and i can't tell the difference!Except for maybe the endurance of the coated side, the reloaded side acts identical to the coated side, and if i wash the car every week and use reload on both sides i get the same performance on both sides. Can you put some light on this situation?
Hi Brian, can CarPro Essence Plus be applied over TAC Moonlight? Also if not, what do you recommend for the TAC Moonlight topper? Should I just stick with TAC Quartz Max? Thank you, Howard

If I was at the 2 year mark and needed to redo a ceramic coating and it is installed on PPF, would I use Essence+ by hand to prep before the new coat? I'm trying to figure out how to correctly redo a ceramic coating over PPF. Thanks Brian.
If you are beyond the life cycle of the old coating....Try something like Angelwax Perfect Polish which is a cleaner/polish with very light abrasives. should be enough to remove leftover coating yet safe on the PPF. It is what I use here.
