Great flight. Looks like maybe a bit of mil-h-5606 came out on the belly and coated the lower com antenna. Can see it progressing farther back on the belly skin.
Thanks for posting that. I really looked forward to hearing those two 720s run. It was impressive. I’m laid up post surgery and my airplanes in annual right now not that I could go visit my airplane but it was fun to see yours fly so thank you very much
You get that antenna to stop leaking? I hate it when they run outta antenna grease. And, I kid you not, The Wife said, "Why didn't we get a Queenie!?!?"
@@KerryDMcCauley that’s what we like to hear!! Seen aviators cut corners at times usually involving their propeller(s)…the most important part of the aircraft
I liked very much, you mentioning autopilot off; circuit breaker pulled. We learned from my friend TNFFlygirl, who didn’t know that, and she and her dad crashed December 7, 2023
Sweet! Nice center-line discipline. Have an hour in one from CNO to LAS in the 90's with some fellow multi instructors building time. Definitely can't afford the fuel burn and wished for more HP but otherwise, I like to brag that I actually have pic time in such a classic beast.
Great news! Now this baby is ready for the great adventures coming up with the Bruce Rivers quest, and to go chase the eclipse! Let the adventures begin!
Great to see the bird in the air - Classy machine - just an observation - and I am no Aircraft tech but that lower antenna looks loose from the belly cam. Not saying it is just looks like it.
@@KerryDMcCauley Thanks Kerry -Just wanted to make sure. Enjoy watching your exploits since I came across you on "Dangerous Flights" Best wishes from the UK
👍✅ Tks for the ride a long, great video. Would be good to check the audio before you publish, not a big deal if its too loud or too low but through out when you have to go to 100% to hear cockpit coms then get blasted with outside audio volume it kinda sucks. Seems like every TH-cam aviation channel has to deal with this problem, right of passage I guess. Tks Kerry, love the Queen Air

Yep, brake line leaking a little. Getting it taken care of.

Well stay tuned. Now that it's back up and running we have big plans for it!
Nice to get to see you work through the checklist. Nicely done!
Queen Air = Queen of the hangar! Had one at T41, only time she ever moved, was rearranging space....
Unfortunately a lot of them end up like that. We had 2 in my Army national Guard unit. I always loved them.
Congratulations on getting back in the air.
Some of us are definitely into that sort on thing!

Don't worry, we ordered a 55 gallon drum of antenna grease!
From the belly cam, your comm antenna looks loose.
Not loose, just looks like it.
Got those props taken care of too??

She’s a beauty thanks for sharing all the best cheers
Hard slipping a Queen Air has to be a hell of a sight.
Great video, keep the QueenAir content coming!! Tell us about that interior!
Thank you! Will do!
How about 1,000’ and/or 500’, stabilized. Not “in the groove”. Dave, 28,000 hours as pilot.
I don't usually make altitude call outs on VFR approaches. Not saying it's unnecessary, I just don't.

It looks like red hydraulic fluid leak around the antenna base…
Good eye! We have a small brake line leak. It's being addressed.
Great looking interior…. Looks like an Alcantara headliner. Sharp!
You might be correct. I bought it with the interior done 13 years ago.

Heck yes buddy!
Queen Air A-80 great airplane , best plane we ever owned.
NICE LANDING
Got to get lucky once in a while!
NICE AIRPLANE WORKED FOR AN OPERATOR WHO HAD ONE AND A BEECH 18 FLEW ON A FRT RUN NIGTLY BACK IN THE 80s
Very similar aircraft. I just love those old Beeches!
I used to work around a 720 cropduster. Love hearing those engines
Sounds like a warbird!

Not loose. Just moves.

Very nice plane.
Thanks! We put a lot of work into it. We'll show more of it soon.
