Great stuff Steve 👍I love this sort of content, especially related to the RV12. Flight review this year for me so good to refresh the memory. Thank you
To heck with the jets, that Pitts is all it takes. Just plane beautiful! Steve, an interesting experiment. I was hoping you would have included ground speed also since it measures your true progress. I look forward to your videos. All the best.
Hi John! Although its true that GS determines when you'll get there, the focus of this video was the relationship between IAS and TAS. The ground track of this flight will show several turns in different directions, each of which had some component of a headwind. I'm afraid you'd have been disappointed with the GS, sometimes as low as 80 KTs due to the wind. Pretty day but somewhat windy up there. 😀
Those QS jets are everywhere.

Thanks for watching!
I've been enjoying your videos. Thank you
Thanks Paul. It was good to meet you at the airport.
@rv12sg we've not met yet, that I'm aware of. I have owned a little BBQ restaurant in Ball Ground for 20 years, though.
@@pauljohnson2372 I must be thinking of a different Paul. Name your restaurant and I will come eat there.
@@rv12sg it's called Amos' BBQ, on hwy 369, across from Cherokee feed and seed. I'd love to meet sometime
@@pauljohnson2372 I'll pop in one day soon.
I love your videos and your RV12
Thanks William. I'll keep 'em coming.

If I didn't know better, I would swear that the Pitts seat was upholstered in duck tape.
Look like! I'll bet it is some rubbery stuff that helps absorb high G's.
