I feel old having read this comment. I feel like I've been devoted to Twin Peaks for 30 years too. But only because it will actually have been 30 years in a few short years. And it had already been cancelled for several years at the time my obsession with this show began.
I hope you young 'uns appreciate how well you have it with that third season that aired on Showtime in 2017. For years and years I thought that Agent Cooper's story would forever be left with the real Dale in the Black Lodge (write it in your diary) and Bob/Evil Cooper/Mr.C roaming free out in the world.
....Lynch largely denied us our Agent Cooper proper, and Dale may actually still be in the Black Lodge. But with so little Cooper,we got a surprisingly large dose of Kyle McLaughlin. Several,in fact.

It’s hard for a lot of viewers now seeing this iconic show to truly understand how unique and exciting this show was when first aired
I at the time and now a big Lynch fan, I watched every episode when originally aired at the time and even though season 2 has some not so great episodes, it still was the best thing on TV back then

The original "binge-worthy" tv show. I recall reading all about it in the paper, this short limited series, so I decided I would record the whole thing and not even start to watch it until it was finished. Loved it. Still some of the most memorable scenes of any series.

Looking back at the time when you couldn't just watch whatever you wanted whenever you wanted, when you had to make sure your life schedule didn't clash with the TV network's schedule... Honestly, it's weird to think about. It doesn't even feel like that long ago. But seems so much more primitive than what we have now.

this is hilariously wrong. abc's bet on lynch did not "pay off". what did the show finish on the year, 38th out of 40 for prime time slots that year? the ratings were bad and it took David Lynch literally begging on national television for people to write abc and continue the show which they did and we got the scrapped together 2nd season, which also did poorly in ratings.
dunno what world you're living in. Not one of facts, though.
