Hi Sebastian. I appreciate you and Dahlia struggling through the last haul video but your reactions tickled me tremendously when you encountered the ones that had gone bad. 😂
L`ete en Douce is a perfect interpretation of the flower meadowsweet, where I live in Norway we have a lot of those flowers, and I was thrilled when I discovered this perfume smelling exactly like this flower.
🤯🤯🤯 Just watching gives me a mingling sense of awe, satisfaction, excitement and envy. Very strange layering combo. 😂 Seriously though, this was awesome Sebastian. A bit quick-fire, but I can only the imagine the amount of drool currently pooling in front of enthusiasts everywhere. My keyboard is a splash pad dagnabbit. Haven't smelled a single Patou!
The L’Artisan ones!!! Memory Lane. I have or have smelled most of these. Nuit the Tubereuse is a favourite. I had my brother bring me a bottle from London about 12 years ago. I cherish it.
Oh God guys you've hit gold. Love these clips. Let's dive in to the retro . Did you know they call this 'Fossicking ' in Australia..lovely to see D too. Spendy haul Sebastian!!! Let's go
Mimosa Pour Moi was one of my first niche fragrances from maybe twenty years ago. It’s a great warm weather fragrance and I still have half a bottle left from the last one I bought.
Great haul video Sebastian. I watched it twice. Some of these sound great. I need to get my nose on Bluebell even though I prefer gourmands over florals this sounds really like something I want to get my nose on.
Really want a bottle of Traversee du Bosphore. I sampled it and loved it and didn't buy it and it got discontinued. It's the best L'Artisan I have smelled next to Tea For Two.
I would love your opinions on the British house of Floris. So far I have A Rose for You, Edwardian Bouquet, Elite, eau de Santal, and my favorite, Honey Oud 💛
There are a few that I enjoy. Here's a Floris search with the list of videos: www.youtube.com/@ThePerfumeGuy/search?query=floris not too many but a few.
What a fabulous haul! So many I’d love to smell. I would say though that I would have liked to see more reactions and facial expressions to the smelling than just pictures of the bottles. Dahlia says a lot with the tone of her voice though 😁❤️👍
I figure the l’Artisan Parfumeur name you were trying to remember was CALIGNA (beautiful) which means flirting in southern France. Thanks for this extensive l’artisan review.
I have a mini of Sublime:-). Somehow I started reading about it on fragrantica when I first started collecting. Pear is Poire in French- la poire. And yes pepper is poivre, le poivre.
Poivre piquant is one of my favorite perfume ever. It is a white pepper bomb with creamy laconic facets. Sebastien is right about mûre and musc, it was very popular in the 80's, so much that Yves Rocher made a kind of dupe of it. The Yves Rocher version was so successful that lots of people don't even know that mûre and musc is the OG. (I've just checked and the Yves Rocher one is not sold anymore.)
Wonderful video, so awesome to watch you going through the bottles with such excitement ❤❤❤❤ batucada is a Brazilian rhythm , with African influences….hence the tropical feel to it
Agree, very impressive haul! I have and love Vaara, Zizonia and Safron Trublant! Personally my brain doesn't read leather from Vaara - the quince and rose water notes are most prominent to me. Cheers!
I don't know if night scented stock has a different meaning in the USA, but in the UK it's a type of flower that releases its scent once the temperature drops in the evening.
I own the current Carthusia Mediterraneo, and to me it smells like lemon ice tea with a hint of mint just a touch. I would love to smell like a lemon head. Lol great haul!
I never even heard of Patou or Carthusa but I do know Hiram Green, which is a super underrated house, imo. Pear is poire in French and pepper is poivre.
Great fragrances,so rare to see all these in 1 video. I love penhaligons and was hoping penhaligons vintage Douro De Portugal would be there in your box..I never had the chance to smell that one but heard only good things about it so always get excited when I see penhaligons reviews hoping Douro will be there..
Quercus and Castile are the 2 I used to wear by Penheligan. Artemisia is pretty also, but you must spray lightly. Her dry down is a good compliment-getter.
Oh Fun; I had to jump ahead to Ostara as it is one of my holy grails based on reviews I have read .. Spring in a bottle you lucky ones! & oh IO Capri.... brilliant. Thanks, ok back to the beginning.....
Jean Patou Sublime is so nice and underrated I feel. Penhaligon No.9 is very similar to Dior Dune however after wearing both it’s not in the level of Dune, to me anyway.
I just got done watching the video and now I feel very inspired to do a lot of fragrance sampling. Is there a good alternative to PENHALIGON'S "OSTARA"? Also, I've never tried Parfums de Nicolai "New York Intense", but I've heard that it's similar to "Lalique Pour Homme EDP", so is the version you have of Jean Patou "Patou Pour Homme" similar to the Lalique?
L'ARTISAN PARFUMEUR SEVILLE AU LAUBE is my favorite from that Fragrance House, I'm almost out of my current old bottle. Where did you find it? I've looked everywhere online, haven't been able to find it. This is a beautiful and long lasting fragrance.
I have a decant of that 2013 Jean Patou Pour Homme from their Heritage Collection. It gets brutally reviewed on Fragrantica, being nothing like the 1980 OG.
@@ThePerfumeGuy That was the other thing I wanted to address: did you mean the 2013 Jean Patou Pour Homme is similar to Vie de Chateau Intense by Nicolai Parfumeur Createur? I have New York Intense and wore it a few weeks ago. It's similar to Creed Bois du Portugal or Guerlain Heritage.
Hi anyone knows, i want a perfume with the same as very irresistible for me, i know its wood, coffe and other stuff but very irresistible is discontinued. which could be a replacement
Oh wow! Rarely do I come out and say that I'm jealous of something, but I AM SO JEALOUS. lol. 😂 Man, what I would do to be able to drop $3500 on vintage/hard to find frags all at once. I need to hit the lottery.
I'm quite chuffed with myself that I know at least one of these - Empressa by Penhaligon's. I haven't heard anything about it being discontinued, and I see it every time I go to the Penhaligon's boutique. But Sebastian, where do you buy vintage perfumes???
Great stuff Penhaligon's Bluebell wasn't Princess Di's fragrance (that was 24 Rue Faubourg). Bluebell was (shiver of horror) the signature scent of Lady Margaret Thatcher.
@@ThePerfumeGuy We are both right! Princess Di did indeed like Bluebell. Later she wore 24 Faubourg but when she married Charles she wore Houbigant's Quelques Fleurs. Thatcher definitely wore Bluebell. There's nothing like the smell of a real English bluebell wood in flower. Heaven
Oh, what I would give for a bottle of Sublime! I worked in a perfume store in the 1990's to put myself through graduate school and Sublime was transformative. Lucky you, Sebastian!
Had the opp to go to Paris and the l artesian small stores sell so so so expensive, 200 + euros for the less popular, don sell some of the old ones, i was surprice!!!
You did hear me say I wanted a bottle of that didn’t you? I will find one stay tuned. My collection of vintage fragrances will not be complete without one of TraLaLa!!
You are not a real PatchHo if you don't like Voleur de Roses😉. Smells like a rose garden after a rainstorm. Fantastic Fragrance. Not the chocolatey patch type though...

Great vintage haul, and always enjoy seeing you and Dalya!
Wow, what a haul. Love some of these classics. Really love the Bluebell and looking for a bottle. Great video Sebastian. I love your haul videos.
Hi Sebastian. I appreciate you and Dahlia struggling through the last haul video but your reactions tickled me tremendously when you encountered the ones that had gone bad. 😂
Fun video. Brought back some memories. Dahlia you look extra beautiful today ! Love you both ❤
thanks Carolyn!!
A goldmine of vintage perfumes. I love Jean Patou, Penhaligon's and L'artisan but a bit unfamiliar with Carthusia. Great video.
You two are the best combo
Yay!! I’m so excited! Lol 😂 these video are so fun and you two are a hoot 🥰❤️
Hope y’all are having a beautiful day!

Thanks for sharing your amazing finds! It's always nice to see you and Dahlia talking about your views on the fragrances you test. Have a great day!
I miss Katie Puckrick’s videos! Fantastic haul and loved seeing the reactions.
All the PATOU scents are marvellous ❤
As a fan of Penhaligon's & L’Artisan Parfumeur, I am very happy for you 😀
Hey Dalya ...... going to spritz Ostara now 💛
hi Mary!! yay ostara

A scored Ostara a few years ago- thanks to your older penhaligon’s video. And it’s one of the best fragrances I enjoy wearing in early spring!!
Oh yay. Love Ostara. Now I have 2.5 bottles! :)
Great haul video Sebastian. I watched it twice. Some of these sound great. I need to get my nose on Bluebell even though I prefer gourmands over florals this sounds really like something I want to get my nose on.
Hello Dahlia ❤

I wore Vaara last week and I love it! I get Saffron but also a honeyed tea note as well…really like it 😊
This is so much fun Sebastian. I want some of these...
Love the video😍love Dalia's wit😄could you do sth on Hiram Green sometime?🤗

That’s an amazing haul. There are some gems amongst them and some old favourites of mine.

Great video Sebastian. Love these vintage haul videos. Looking forward to the next one.
Great video and I enjoyed it and me and my wife are going to try these fragrances and have a blessed day
Patou's are my favorite. Great Haul !
Oh yes great classic house! Hope all is well! :)
Agree, very impressive haul! I have and love Vaara, Zizonia and Safron Trublant! Personally my brain doesn't read leather from Vaara - the quince and rose water notes are most prominent to me. Cheers!
The quince is quite nice in Vaara. And the leather is mostly an accord from the Saffron in that fragrance! :)
I don't know if night scented stock has a different meaning in the USA, but in the UK it's a type of flower that releases its scent once the temperature drops in the evening.
I personally love stock and buy them quite often as they are gorgeous smelling. So night scented stock might be sort of similar I think. :)

You too!
Quercus and Castile are the 2 I used to wear by Penheligan. Artemisia is pretty also, but you must spray lightly. Her dry down is a good compliment-getter.
For me Kean Patou Joy is the most beautiful woman fragrance ever
26:00 what a haul!! And I don’t think Bluebell has been discontinued, its in stock now.
Yes we have seen it for sure. it's back. Gone for a while! :)
@@ThePerfumeGuy cool beans~
So envious of this sniffing sesssion. Good to check in ❤

Jean Patou Sublime is so nice and underrated I feel. Penhaligon No.9 is very similar to Dior Dune however after wearing both it’s not in the level of Dune, to me anyway.
Wonderful haul. I’ve got two bottles of Penhaligon’s elixir, my absolute favourite.. One was a back up bottle in case it was discontinued.
Safran Troublant and Mon Numero 9 and 10 are chef's kiss for me
I’ve been wanting Carthusia 1681!
You guys are great
Oh Man. That Extract of Limes.. SOOOOOOO jealous. Lucky :D
I LOVED Fiori Di Capri by Carthusia
Best collab!!! Patou?!
As an Aussie Essence of Lime is what I would've gone with
Patou pour homme (og) is a piece of art - one of the best men s fragrances and has a unique mysore sandalwood
I’ll buy that Seville if you dont want it! Living vicariously through you two!😂
Jean Patou is a smaller brand??
I have a decant of that 2013 Jean Patou Pour Homme from their Heritage Collection. It gets brutally reviewed on Fragrantica, being nothing like the 1980 OG.
I agree it’s absolutely nothing like the original but it does remind me of New York Intense by Nicolai! This new version that is. 😀
So exciting!
Envy!!
I want ALL these fragrances😊
Dolce is 'sweet' in spanish and maybe italian, and in French, 'douce' means sweet, like Sebastian suggests. 😃
Hi anyone knows, i want a perfume with the same as very irresistible for me, i know its wood, coffe and other stuff but very irresistible is discontinued. which could be a replacement
Sebastian ! How can we buy some of them from you ?
LOVE POTION for women is stunning!

Where can I find the original formulation of Nuit de Tubereuse?
Sebastian, If you spent $3500 for all of those vintage fragrances, then you must've got some great deals on at least some of them, right?
It was a lot of all except for the Patou. 3K. I spent around 550 for all the Patou's! But it was sold in a lot of them.
I'm quite chuffed with myself that I know at least one of these - Empressa by Penhaligon's. I haven't heard anything about it being discontinued, and I see it every time I go to the Penhaligon's boutique.
But Sebastian, where do you buy vintage perfumes???
I have local personal resources. Not at stores. Although I used to buy at stores I haven't in ages! :)
Great stuff Penhaligon's Bluebell wasn't Princess Di's fragrance (that was 24 Rue Faubourg). Bluebell was (shiver of horror) the signature scent of Lady Margaret Thatcher.
Oh no. But I read an article a few years back and it said it was PD fragrance. Maybe they got it wrong?
@@ThePerfumeGuy We are both right! Princess Di did indeed like Bluebell. Later she wore 24 Faubourg but when she married Charles she wore Houbigant's Quelques Fleurs. Thatcher definitely wore Bluebell. There's nothing like the smell of a real English bluebell wood in flower. Heaven

Really enjoyable!
Thank you Ken!! :)
Ooh this is like perfume prn
Dahlia was trying to recall the Timbuktu from L'Artisan 😊
Really? I love that one too!! :)
L'Artisan's Caporal is discontinued 😞 unfortunately, because it is one of the best....
Please suggest a perfume very much similar to the Creed's Original Vetiver or a clone of it
Don't know. can't think of any but if you can find Mugler Cologne then that would be my suggestion but I doubt you will find it.
Thanks but doubt is regarding of what i.e. to find Mugler Cologne in market or to find an exact clone of Creed's Original Vetiver
If I come across anything I will certainly report back! :)
Thanks a lot and I am waiting curiously for your answer as I like this fragrance very much
At this moment I wear THREE L'Artisan scents 😂:
DZING, DHONGKA & MECHANT LOUP.
A video about all the perfumes with "Sensível" word to them, please?
I think Dahlia meant LArtisan Timbuktu when she said exotic name
No Timbuktu?
Citronella ❤
I want to buy a storage unit moiii???.
Oh, what I would give for a bottle of Sublime! I worked in a perfume store in the 1990's to put myself through graduate school and Sublime was transformative. Lucky you, Sebastian!
I love the bottle too. I need to store it so it doesn't turn! But thankfully it's been kept cool and in dry space. :)
I have both Sublime and Joy, both boxed and stored, bought off ebay. I love both of them but I only wear them on special occasions.
My numero 10 is anything but subdued 😂 it's crazy because it seems it wants to he gourmand but isn't. 🤷🏿♂️
I would HAPPILY buy that bottle of Sublime if you're willing to part with it...!!!!❤
Jewelry of the perfumery
I thought 1000 would cost more? Sounds like a good deal. Nice score.
I kind of knew the woman who was selling it so I bargained her or I should say haggled her! :)
Had the opp to go to Paris and the l artesian small stores sell so so so expensive, 200 + euros for the less popular, don sell some of the old ones, i was surprice!!!
Wonderful 🎉
This is ok, but where is Penhaligon's Tralala ?
You did hear me say I wanted a bottle of that didn’t you? I will find one stay tuned. My collection of vintage fragrances will not be complete without one of TraLaLa!!

You looked really tired.great haul
Can we have an Arabic version of this video?
Maybe we can get it translated.
Yes, "pear" is "poire," very close to "poivre". Your memory is on target.
