Moustache EDP is pretty tough to find under $50 right now. It got a lot of positive attention last year.

Great selection. Another good one for me is Jaques Bogert- Bogart Pour Homme. An older powerhouse in the Naxos style which gets closer than it should for the price.

Great list. For me a perfect 10/10 cheapie is al Rehab Choco Musk, which is a really versatile milk chocolate (or rich vanilla, depending on your mindset, I guess). It's one note really, but they do that note very well, and the fragrance blends beautifully with so many other fragrances. I should mention that you can get 2 bottles of 50ml parfum extrait strength for $10 or $15 which is an insanely good deal.
Also a fan of those Franck Olivier fragrances! Anxious to try some of the others!
Great list! I have many from it, my favorite 10/10 cheapies not in the list would be Lataffa's Ameer Al Oudh Intense, Lalique White, Tous Man Sport, Aqua du Selva from Visconti di Modrone and Lagerfeld original, but my favorite is Bentley for men intense. Thanks for the video Sebastian!!!

I'd be happy with any of these, they feature many of the notes that appear in the expensive niche brands.

Thank you for this video. I am still mostly in the decant stage of perfume buying. I recently bought Guess Seductive Red for Her. It’s an amazing sweet scent. It doesn’t last long, but does smell great. I also bought Guess Seductive White for Her. It’s a pleasant white floral scent. Since I’m not big of white floral perfume, I layer them together.
Ooh layering is fun. Like you are your own perfume mixologist!!
A lot of classic perfumes are very cheap I guess because some might say they’re dated, but some still retain their masterpiece status. Especially when reformulated with care. I’m thinking about something like Gres Cabochard.
I have a few of these and they really are great. Even Mercedes Benz Club Black having the price raise is still more than worth it. So good. Also, I am in Canada and there is a Yves Rocher store in north Toronto area

Recently purchased mandarina duck black. I really like it and it's cheap. I'm more inclined to gourmand colognes that's why I like it. 😊

Acca Kappa when you described the Le Monde Gourmand. But I found the Acca Kappa (white) to be very light.
Is the white EDT? Cause mine is the black and if I remember correctly there are two versions but I've only experienced the EDP.
Lalique Encre Noire Al'Extreme is real masterpiece!
There could be a lot more in this list, but I really miss Salvatore Ferragamo pour Homme here. I blindly bought it a few weeks ago and I find myself leaving all my Xerjoffs, Nishane's, Parfums de Marly's, etc. and using this cheapie every single day in this European spring. Delicious fig leaves (really looks like vetiver), green scents. And remains for a long time. This is apparently a very underrated gem
I recently cut my collection down from 2000+ to just 60, but Dunhill Icon was one of four cheapies I kept. One of my fave designers & amazing value.
I have none of this exa-a-actly, but I do have Encre Noire Sport, so it's essentially the same idea. Didn't buy the Extreme because...I smelled nothing from it! Weird, go figure. So the "Sport" did it for me. I've have loved a "complex" Extreme if I could SMELL anything "complex." Oh well. Some other "cheapies" I'm totally wild about are Victorinox Black Steel, Bentley Momentum Unbreakable (wow, wow, wow) and, you know, Guerlain Heritage EDT isn't very expensive, is it, and what can you say about it but WOW. The Wakening Woods is one that is irresistibly drawing me in after all the raves I've heard for it. So that's my next buy following your wonderful leads. Thank you!

I think this was suggested before so might have to do so sometime soon.
Not sure if you would agree, but to my nose Franck Olivier’s Oud Vanille could be a nice budget alternative to Goldfield & Bank’s Silky Woods. There is a lot of similarity, especially once you hit the dry down.
Noses are different so all good. Me personally get loads of rose in the FO so I don’t get the similarities. 😀

You're the man like always. I got so many frags of which many are designer and niche that I'm hesitant to spend much money on new fragrances so my spending these days is on inexpensive and cheapies.
I was hugely happy to satisfy my curiosity and get my nose on TOUS 1920 here in Poland, stumbling upon it in a local shop. You're right, it's just great. I think I'll be picking it up. It was the best of the assortment I took sniffs of there.

Blue Jeans smells like coca-cola to me like a vanilla coke. It's quite sweet. Hmm an alt for that? I haven't thought of it will have to think and see. Something sweet and fizzy like that.

I have expensive hoity-toity frags, but living in the Okanagan Valley, I go through freshies like water.
For me there's zero point in anything but cheapies for hot weather.

These 3 punch way above their price tag in originality and scent profile.

great list, I would like to add UDV Ulric de Varens to it - a beautiful classic fougere from 1993.
it is similar to Zino, but more subtle and fresh.
I like all of the Lalique fragrances I've smelled. The wife likes the women's they make. She gets more compliments wearing them than niche etc I've bought her for 5X the price.
There's this small French niche brand called 100Bon (pronounced sent bon) that sells 100% natural fragrances for a really good price. I think they even have some fragrances that were created by Atelier Ellena. Has anyone here tried them, yet?
Yes I know the brand but not easy to find here. I discovered them in Paris at Printemps and Monoprix.

Also just a heads up as you said these can be easily found, Zara Leather Jardin will not be carried at the Zara site anymore. Too bad as E-bay really has the prices jacked up. Davidoff Zino definitely great smelling. Got my first 125ml bottle for €18 couple of years ago, then another discounter had it for €16 and got a backup bottle there :) One of the best values ever

I own seven of the fragrances mentioned on this list, and I like most of the ones I have. I might prefer the original Lalique "Encre Noire" over the A L'Extreme flanker. To this list I would add Calvin Klein "Eternity EDP for Men". In 2021, I bought three 3.4 oz. tester bottles of it for about $25 each. I recently wore it and I enjoyed it very much. It has good performance. I don't know if it's being sold for that good of a price anymore, but I'm very glad I stocked up on it when I did. I highly recommend it.
Lalique Pour Homme Lion and Equus, Lalique White and Hommage a L'homme all greater than Encre Noir L'Extreme. IMO.
The best cheapie ever for me it’s Chopard Incense malaki. You will smell like James Bond for 40€.
More for autumn winter spring but I wear it when I feel like it! :)

Let me remind you again that Perles de Lalique came in 2006, so maybe the great portrait of a lady was a take on this! Yes it is a designer, but many great designer fragrances has inspired great niche ones!

@@ThePerfumeGuy I generally like everything you recommend! I was only unhappy once, but I've since changed my mind. L'homme Ideal Extrême didn't perform well when I first got it, but either it has changed, or I have changed. It's a wonderful scent. One of us had to mature.

It's been online on Zara's usa website. I think it's totally wearable in the summer but then again I'm not like most people. I personally don't have rules. It's quite good as a fragrance. :)

Recently, I got to try Parfums de Nicolai "New York Intense" for the first time. I like it to some extent, but because it has civet musk, and other animal kingdom ingredients, I can't like it very much. I can see why some people say that "Lalique Pour Homme EDP" is somewhat similar to it, only the Lalique doesn't have any of the civet musk, etc. and I totally prefer the Lalique over "New York Intense". I love "Lalique Pour Homme EDP" and I would add that one to this list of excellent inexpensive fragrances.
Most definitely that Lalique makes you smell like a rich wealthy mature gentleman
Nicolai's NYI is the best old man(over 50) niche fragrance under 200 dollars 100 ml

Do you know there’s a fragrance by Chanel called Sycomore? It’s unisex so both sexes can wear it? And it smells like you guessed it Encre Noire A L’Extreme!
