Ahhh there we go, my heart and soul, THE Penhaligon's scents. The first time I received my tester of Lothair from their online quiz and gave it a sniff, I genuinely cried. Like, I could not contain the overflowing emotions that it caused in me. Its funny cause my mom and sis think its just meh. I don't know if I was a British royal in my past life but smelling Lothair felt like retrieving memories I never knew I had, and the fragrance kept changing on me, every half hour I would get a whiff of something new and beautiful and distant and long forgotten. It was like nothing I ever smelled before on the mainstream shelves. It smells like running barefoot through the evergreen woods on a sunny, warm, spring day and then running back home into your royal palace, inside a room where your mom is sitting and sipping tea with milk, smelling of powder and vanilla, next to your freshly shaved dad who is smoking a cigar, and your servant just walked in, putting a bouquet of fresh flowers on the table........... just... unreal. My next favorites are Juniper Sling- super unusual, Zizonia- An extroverted elite prostitute and Artemisia- A royal, angelic, baby princess
I just fell in love with this house. I know some are more marketed to males and females but personally, I think anyone can wear anything. I love Halfeti and so, so many portraits including William Penhaligon. Waiting for my miniatures and once I have tried them all I will get a full bottle of one of them. I can't wait.
I like Penhaligon perfume. Currently, I have Luna. To me, it is pretty and feminine but sometimes it turns sour on me, but I still like it. Thank you for featuring Penhaligon. They definitely are underrated and deserve more recognition for their beautiful perfume.
I’m wearing duchess Rose 🌹 today and it’s Devine ,unfortunately it doesn’t last long !! Elizabethan rose lasts much longer on my skin and I just purchased a full bottle!! It could easily be my signature fragrance This was a wonderful video and I’m absolutely captivated by this house Hugs Frances 💗🌹💗🌹
Thank you so much for doing this video ! Apparently a rumour is the Queen wears Empressa ! Iove both Empressa and Luna are my signature work perfume, feminine but not overpowering and make me feel really confident as it's niche and I know not a lot of people wear it! (I am a Doctor Lead Consultant working in Hospital)
Finally!! My favourite fragrance house I would love for you to check out my Penhaligon’s Collection video 🙏🏾 I have almost all of their perfumes I am obsessed 😍 Thank you for sharing these amazing picks ❤️
Penhaligon's is indeed a superb house. Love Halfeti, but haven't yet got my hands on both the cedar and leather flankers. As much as I really like The Tragedy Of Lord George, my favourite from the Portraits line is the rum-based Roaring Radcliff. Sartorial remains king for me though as I'm something of a fougere freak! Very surprised that they never gave her the classic Bluebell to review though.
@@thenoseknows8048 You are always so spot on I always enjoy your fragrance reviews on Instagram and TH-cam🙌🏾. Roaring Radcliffe is incredible absolutely love it on a man and Sartorial is one of the most iconic gentlemanly perfume I know and I adore Lord George too
Gosh, Penhaligon's the portrait collection is my favourite, especially the bottles, they're just so pretty. Unfortunately I can only afford the samples, never the full bottle. The Duke and Lord George are my absolute favourite.
I don’t know how I missed this video! So glad I found it. It was so exciting to learn about this niche brand. I started collecting perfumes last year. The Impressa one is on my list to get. I think the packaging and the artwork and the stories are so exquisite, creative and fascinating. Thank you for filming this! Lovely to learn a little bit about British history and culture as well. 🥰❤️💗🤩
Yay, finally a review on penhaligon from my fav perfume youtuber:)) I got to know this brand last year when lock down was eased here in Australia, since I have an obsession with deer head, “ the tragedy death of Lord George” easily becomes my fav, I love the juice, not something I normally wear, I feel like I need to have a strong personally to pull it off otherwise it s more like the fragrance is wearing me rather than I am wearing the fragrance. I also love the rose one , bottles are Devine, price tag is not cheap either
I just received a Changing Constance from EBay and I like the smell a lot. I wanted to check out your video again to be sure the bottle was legit as far as packaging it looks and smell legit.
Hi Sophie, I joined you a little while back and have come to rely on your reviews. Love your videos! I watch them all the time. I LOVE penhaligons!! Thank you for this one. Pls talk about more English brands, on your videos, it'll be lovely! 🤍
I have Revenge of Lady Blanche on the way along with a sample tin. I'm sooooo excited! I live in North Dakota and it seems like everyone wears the same boring perfumes. I want something unique.
Hi there Soki. I have been thinking of buying Empressa for a while and this video sealed the deal. Please do a Cartier perfume review. Thanks very much in advance.
What a nice review, thank you so much ! I wear Halfeti in cooler months and really love everything about it: the bottle, the quality of the juice, the performance, the history of the brand. The Tragedy of Lord Georges is a true masterpiece, but can't pull the trigger as it lacks performance. Lothair and Blazing Mr. Sam are quite nice and grow on me. Keep up your nice reviews !
most of them are around 100 euro in shop here in Ireland, there's also some of them that are discontinued for 50 euro... Ebay is sometimes a good option too if you do your research carefully
I love it! It really reminds me of a tea party, as it travels back and forth between smelling floral, and then pastry. Has great performance. Tea party-looking bottle....
Penhaligon's is one of my favourite perfume houses for many reasons. Great quality, great artistry, traditional, eccentric and nostalgic but relevant for today One of the lovely qualities about Penhaligon is that you immediately associate each of their scents with an individual or a certain type of individual , Blenheim Bouquet : Winston Churchill or someone of his class and status Artemisia : A Victorian Princess and it will make you feel like one if you wear it no matter who you are, so be warned . Artemisia is a top green note when you pair it with sweeter notes you end up with the most beautiful powdery effect. Love it so Hammam Bouquet:, Lord Byron , Artists and Bohemian type guys a bon vivant Bluebell: Young understated, under estimated but refined lady. Her masculine counterpart could be Endymion Their Portrait collection is a lot of fun I love the graphics, the whimsical high brow story line , everything about it . The Revenge of Lady Blanch is my favourite, but I agree all the the bottles from this collection are unique and well designed .A bottle of The Tragedy Of Lord George would look good on any man's dresser
I love Penhaligon's! Very classy and worthy of collecting, if only for the bottles and the caps. Equinox Bloom is a winner as a floral gourmond. It does a perfect job of replicating a tea party! Adorable bottle and the fragrance has great performance
Please I really need your help here. How many different scents do you think I need. My point is,is there any need buying a woody perfume from mfk and another woody from mancera?
I was wondering if you can help me. Every time I go into this shop I smell the same smell in the store in Canary Wharf. I would like to purchase this smell but nobody has been able to advise me on what the smell is.
Why would that be long ago to Americans?😂 I grew up with relatives born in the 1800s; and I was only born in the 70s; which probably seems long ago to you 😂😂😂

You’ve definitely inspired me to try! It’s amazing to me how some fragrances evoke emotion and can suit some and not others
Spectacular. I love the history as well. When stores open I would love for you to do a vlog and visit various fragrance boutiques. 👑💜
I was thinking that too!

I'm wearing my William Penhaligon today (sample) and I LOVE it.

I can definitely see collecting Penhaligon's. The bottles and caps alone are amazing! So British and CLASSY!!

Thank you for your awesome reviews! I blind bought Empressa based on your feedback, and I absolutely love it!! Such a gorgeous feminine fragrance.
I love Penhaligon’s! My favorite is, appropriately named, The Favourite. I also like Luna and Empressa.
👍
This was great! Never tried Pengaligans, and have been tempted for a while now

Those bottles are to die for! This is a house I haven't dived into yet, thanks for the helpful review!
Thank you so much for doing this review. I requested it and I appreciate your opinion and taste/ descriptions. Much love from dedicated subscriber 💕
You are so welcome!
I just received a Changing Constance from EBay and I like the smell a lot. I wanted to check out your video again to be sure the bottle was legit as far as packaging it looks and smell legit.
My first introduction to Penhalighons was Iris Prima. Oh how I loved that perfume. It was lush and so me.
👍
Thanks for another awesome review!! I’m very excited by this brand as it’s quite niche here in Aus and I have not tried it yet 😍
🥰
Hadn’t heard of this brand and you have inspired me to have a look. Another great video. Thank you.
You just need to try them their fragrances are absolutely incredible and classy
🥰🥰
I’m so super excited to see this Video posted 🤩🤩🤩

I'm so sorry... That should be Soki.
@Dhritiparna D-C As we're on a classic theme here, I could suggest Atkinsons and Floris as other old stagers worthy of review at some point.
Thank you! I do know of Floris only so far. The classics , please , would love reviews on Floris and Atkinsons.
Yay finally I requested this 😍 bought some as well ❤️
👍
Love Penhligons. I currently have Artemisia, Elisabethan Rose, but would love to buy Cairo & Penhaligon's Portraits "The Coveted Duchess Rose" ♥️💛♥️💛🥰
🙌 have seen this brand before but never tried thank you Soki definitely caught my interest with all the background info 😊
🥰
I have Revenge of Lady Blanche on the way along with a sample tin. I'm sooooo excited! I live in North Dakota and it seems like everyone wears the same boring perfumes. I want something unique.
Thank you so much for all these wonderful videos!
🥰
Excellent review of one of England's grand old houses. Those Royal Warrants are very well deserved!
💯 bro
My most favourite rose scent is from Penhaligon's! Duchess Rose from Penhaligon's is like velvet! so creamy and classy !
Hi there Soki. I have been thinking of buying Empressa for a while and this video sealed the deal. Please do a Cartier perfume review. Thanks very much in advance.
Empressa does remind me of coco mademoiselle, my favourite is 'The revenge of lady Blanche'👌good review👍
🥰

Ohhh yessss! Finally hehehehe.. excellent review Soki!
🥰
Love your videos and reviews so much! Would you do a review on the Cosmopolitan Eau de Juice in the future? The packaging is super cute!
Ah yes I was thinking of getting one
Penhaligon’s Empressa reminds me the name of your perfume 🥹I always connect the name with this one.
This is a house I'd love to own a fragrance or two from someday. They're a little out of my reach right now and too scary to blind buy!
Hey, subscribe to them and they will send an offer. I just ordered discovery sets. Love them.
New here. I just picked up Zinzonia at a local Pharmacy w/o a box for 25$ Thanks for your review.
enjoy!
I’m new to Penhaligon’s fragrances and I’m loving it. I had Luna and The Favorite on my collection. Classy and niche in my opinion 😇🥰😗
👍
I don't own any penhaligon's fragrances yet but I'm looking to purchase Brilliantly British. It sounds delightful.
🇬🇧🥰
I’ve just bought my first ones and love them, I have a big Oud collection but love all these scents so different
Thanks for sharing!
There quite good but ridiculously priced
I mean nearly £200 for a bottle of perfume is crazy
Loved the video though
most of them are around 100 euro in shop here in Ireland, there's also some of them that are discontinued for 50 euro... Ebay is sometimes a good option too if you do your research carefully
@@Hydemica what?!!!! 100 € wow you are lucky 😥
Sohan,Babylon,William,Dutchess Rose,Teddy are my favourites💚💚💚
Maybe you could give your top favorites or recommendations at the end to be more helpful to the viewers. 😊
Oooh have you tried Penhaligon’s Equinox Bloom? Someone said it’s like high tea in a perfume and I love high tea so I’m curious! 💕😁
I love it! It really reminds me of a tea party, as it travels back and forth between smelling floral, and then pastry. Has great performance. Tea party-looking bottle....

Ah yes
yeyyyy!!! a house want to be able to try !!!!

It's Halfeti, that is their store's signature scent.
Well hello there nice to see you again im the first today

Enjoying Halfeti
I bought a full bottle

Hi!
Hello sis
Why would that be long ago to Americans?😂 I grew up with relatives born in the 1800s; and I was only born in the 70s; which probably seems long ago to you 😂😂😂
Because USA is only a few centuries old :)
