my grandfather used to make me listen to this tape with paul harvey speeches on it and i never knew why. now my grandfather is gone and listening to these recordings makes me feel like hes still here. the things we take for granted always end up being the important things.
OH mY ! I spent some summers with my grandparents in West Virginia as a youth,, EVERYTHING was set around 12pm..lunch! Paul Harvey! I learned so much about being a conservative christian and the RUSH took over that 12 slot RIP LOVE YOU SO MUCH RUSH !!!!
You got my attention about 30 years ago working on the water with my grandfather catching crab and oysters never understood how important these message were going to be RIP Paul God Bless You 🕊
I use to listen to Paul on the radio back in the day. He's had very interesting messages. But this the best by far... Such Truth... But that Liar will never touch our Lord Jesus ever again , nor myself after I'm gone. And I am going Home to my Jesus. Amen
My folks died a year apart when I was 15…….. sudden heart attack the other a house fire. One of my best memories is bonus dad listening to Paul Harvey…..❤️
Gosh, what a rough loss at an early age 😔 Paul Harvey does seem to bring back warm memories for those of us who were around back then. For me, it was watching my mother rustle up breakfast and listening to him after the farm report.

I wrote a theologically correct version of this story 4/13/2016 after I first read it in someone's email. Since I borrowed heavily from the version I read, I'm now trying to determine whether Paul Harvey was the author and whether it was written in 1976, the year of Harvey's cassette "Our Lives, Our Fortunes, Our Sacred Honor." The last story on the cassette was "The Man And The Birds," as explained by Wayne Garriepy in the description for his 4/6/2015 video: th-cam.com/video/s3s8Tdi5Xb4/w-d-xo.html . Th1-10-19-0254E
