I feel terrible! First time watching this video and I was unaware the singer had passed away. After asking in the comments if she was still alive to sing for me on my wedding day.. 😞 RIP WHAT A BEAUTIFUL VOICE! Now she’s worshipping in heaven for ABBA!
Rest in peace songstress Paula. Your voice is still bringing lives back to righteousness. Rest in peace to the Lady Chandler. She passed last year. I hope this melody welcomed her to the kingdom she lived for on this side ❤🙏🏾
I TRULY WAS BLESSED BY HER SINGING THIS SONG AT THAT WEDDING!! TORE THE CHURCH UP!! HALLELUJAH!! PRAISE OUR GOD!! I JUST NOW SEE. SHE HAS PASSED ON!! SO SORRY TO SEE THAT. SHE WAS FANTASTIC!!! 😢❤
I remember seeing this years ago. She killed it! 👏👏👏❤ That is true gospel music that gives you all the feels. On a side note, people should not make negative comments about what they don't understand or what they never experienced. Love ya Charlie! ❤❤❤
Suggestion for a Sunday offering is from one of the best of the Filipino singers. Lea Salonga singing Via Dolorosa at West Point with their choir plus piano and brass ensemble. It is truly the best performance for me.
Sounded like a screaming banshee. Almost 70% out of pitch. Would be less harsh on the ears if there wasn't an organist playing chords unrelated to half her notes.
Gospel music is a different language. It's ok if you don't get it but let's not dump on it for no reason. It's often not linear and as structured as it seems you're used to with secular music. It involves a lot of improvisation based on feeling and the pushing (pitch wise) of notes to emphasise feeling. Now, if you dig ultra rehearsed and pitch perfect music that's fine. More power to you. But your ignorance of a genre is not reason to dump on it. Just saying
Oh please that woman’s diction and tone was incredible! It’s something in the black church called the anointing don’t even think you’d understand if you weren’t raised in it so no point of even explaining but please don’t disrespect. She made me literally cry
If yall only knew how many times I listen to this rendition of this song...the best I ever heard yet❤
The most moving rendition of this beautiful hymn🙏🏾❤️🕊️
Yes 🙏🏾🙏🏾
