When you find a white singer that black people listen to, then you know that they can sing their face off. Vickie is one of those singer and I love listening to her.
Vicki grew up in Louisiana, daughter of a Pentecostal minister. I discovered her while watching CBN where she was a frequent guest singer. She has many recordings and writer of many songs as well. She is/ has been active on Facebook. She has traveled extensively doing Revivals, Crusades all over the world. She is a published author and mother of two beautiful young men. No one delivers a worship song quite like Vicki- she is amazing❣️
I remember when she first came out with this song over 16yrs ago I was going through some real horrible time.. and this song came on the radio and I was driving and I could not help it the tears just flow from my eyes., this song remind me of who God was., my everything
Vicki Yohe (pronounced Yo-E) was one of the biggest names in gospel/worship music in the early 2000’s. Every time she sang, you could see her heart. She used to randomly stop by the church where I served in Ball Ground, GA. She considered our pastor her brother and our church her home. After she finished recording this song, she stopped by to debut songs from her new album for her “family”. When she sang this song, the place came unglued. The anointing was like something we’d never experienced before and remains the same every time you hear her sing it, even in a recording. She’s amazing, and her sister Terri has a voice as incredible as hers. I am so blessed to have known her back then. She kept in touch with my mom until my mom passed in 2021.
My husband and I met Vicky after a concert she did in our city. She was incredible and so very warm and friendly. She's one of my favorite gospel artists.
Your reactions are everything that I expected. She definitely has some hidden SOUL in her. Vicki Yohe (born July 13, 1965)[1] is a gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader. She was born in Normal, Illinois and raised in Rapid City, South Dakota. She sang her first solo at the age of five. Her family moved to Hammond, Louisiana when she was 14. At age 19, she accepted the position of music director at a church near Baton Rouge. She definitely got the soul vibe from that southern state.
Charlie this why you will be the next anointed and one of the greatest of all time. this is why you have been called to this. I can't wait to hear it. I can help. I know you can sing. can.t wait to hear you. Hit me up.
Vicki grew up attending the United Pentecostal Church International. She’s filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost and is using her talent to inspire worship of the one true God, Jesus!
Vickie Yohe and Martha Munizzi both still perplex me and are two of my faves!! Anointed Yes but they got soul like they've been immersed in the black gospel culture.
I have so much to say so I'll try to not sound overwhelmed. LOL!!! First, TH-cam suggested your channel to me after watching producers and music industry peeps react to Dirty Loops videos. I'm glad it did though because I want to be your friend. 🤣 Your reactions are so authentic and much like mine. As a musician, when I want to test my "stank faceometer" I listen to Dirty Loops. I tell my non-musician friends a Stank Faceometer is much like a Flux Capacitor. It allows me to time travel. 😁 Second, I had not subscribed to your channel yet until I watched this video. I was the MD for my church for 10 years and played in church from age 17 - 39. Now I just produce Soft House/Dance mash-ups and remixes. Your reaction to this song, I have played thousands of times in church, was so authentic that I cried with you. I felt your heart is soft to the things of God and that made me want to be your friend. The emotion in your eyes from the 5:00 mark on was beautiful! Blessings to you and yours! Third, have an amazing week!
Ahh thank you so much. This was such a nice comment to receive ☺️. I love this about my channel. It seems to attract people that are my tribe and seem to be of a similar emotional disposition and understanding. Loved your flux capacitor analogy 😂😂
@@TheCharlieSmithChannel 🤣 It's settled then...I now call you friend! Thank you for being open to reacting to music that shares the gospel even if it doesn't get you as many views as other videos you post. Praying for the windows of Heaven to open on you and your family. I'll just be over here in Nashville, TN watching your videos and showing God's love in a practical way...with a 👍teaching peeps how to upgrade their Flux Capacitor to a Stank Faceometer and spreading the word of your amazing channel!
