I was there and its was crazy and standing the whole time. Walter Hawkins &Love center choir rocked the San Francisco Bay area &the world .The pen of Walter was amazing and the choir was always on point.
Mrs. Tremaine Hawkins He's that kind of friend was my 1st solo as a child without a choir. My mom put me on the spot and made me sing but I will always love Mrs. Tremaine she is amazing.
The first lady singing lead is Yvette Flunder. The first guy that sang was the late Walter Hawkins. Then, the late James Moore. The thin lady was Tremaine Hawkins. The second to the last guy was the late Frank Williams, and the last guy was the late Thomas Whitfield.
Lady with the hat Tremaine Hawkins gospel icon, gentleman after her Frank Williams of the Williams Brothers and Mississippi Mass Choir gospel icons, and the Maestro of Gospel Rev. Thomas Whitfield. It's a blessing to watch others be blessed by a song that's been around for many many years and its message is still the same. Stay blessed brother.
Be Blessed by Smokie Norful's "Dear God", "Still Say Thank You", and "I Need You Now" J. Moss - "Praise on the Inside", "We Must Praise" Zacardi Cortez - "You Don't Know"
Charlie! i've listened to these songs my whole entire life. Growing up in a small southern town, church and music were everything. But I must say, watching you watch them adds even more to the experience. It's wonderful to see something you love through fresh eyes. Keep doing what you're doing.
One of my favorite classics! Have you reacted to Richard Smallwood? His song #THANKYOU is so touching. My friend was a member of a Christian Ballet Troup. When they performed to Thank you, EVERYBODY was crying. The dancers, the audience, even watching the recording weeks later. Thank you for your reaction. Edit: I went to your channel and found your reaction. Thnx
Dude, I freaking love you and what you do. The couple of times that you started thinking, I know this guy, was awesome to watch, but especially when you started loading, I was crying laughing when you finally figured it out was so awesome to watch. This is gospel royalty. The Hawkins family paved the way for all of these artists today. The runs, the choir and the music being on point. They set the standard high. Please don't stop doing these gospel reviews man. I don't know about anyone else, but it blesses me to see our gospel greats bless you. They affect us the exact same way.
Oh this takes me back!! Thank you!🤗 As the song played, I found myself grateful that I had the opportunity to witness the gifts and talents of these great talented people!! I I believe the only one still living is Tramaine Hawkins!😲😵 Their legacy is filled with so much light, love of life and love for GOD that I was enjoying the joy their talents still bring long after they've transitioned from this earth❣ I'd just completed my daily journal entry when I saw this video! The last statement I wrote in my journal today was, "thank you for your power and protection...I know without a doubt you are now, have always been and forever will be with me for my highest good!" What an amazing synchronicity!....THANK YOU LORD❤😇 And Thank you Charlie for keeping your faith and sharing with us! You are a vessel....let "him" pour into you❣😇🌅

Holy Thou Art God by Richard Smallwood and Vision! It's another one that's feels like it takes you to the throne of God! The beautiful thing about both Richard Smallwood and Walter and Edwin Hawkins was the reprises on their songs! It's just a continuation of worship!
@@TheCharlieSmithChannel which video did you react to Dalin Collins? I saw interview with him and he said that James Moore was one of the singers he emulated
Oh really? Well well! I've never actually reacted to him but I've heard him on behold the lamb, and I saw a video of him with the Dallas and Fort Worth Mass choir singing 'Have Mercy' with Dottie Peoples
Love this style of Gospel. Don’t know who the singer is, but she’s great. “I’m a man of God!” had me laughing 😂 Why is S.A. Gospel style so different? Is there a name for this style?
I'm sure others are way more qualified to answer this question than me. However, I will say that south Africa and America are very different countries with very different histories, so the music in the churches will have had different influences. There will obviously be similarities too
Charlie, you should check out Tremaine Hawkins and Walter Hawkins sing The Potters House. They sang their faces off on that song too.
YES!!!!

Heard this album almost every week growing up!
Same. I was the remote back then, changing the records and tapes. Good memories.

Charlie, fyi Tramaine Hawkins is the late Walter Hawkin’s former wife and one of the lead singers of the Hawkins Singers.
Happy Sunday, Charlie!! It's Bishop Yvette Flunder, the late Rev. James Moore, the late Rev. Frank Williams, and the late Thomas Whitfield.
Thank you for that. And happy Sunday to you too 🙌🏼
