After purchasing the sample, I was obsessed with it immediately. I went ahead an bought the full size bottle. I had to have MORE! I do not wear my other favorites, as they are not anywhere close to how I feel about Baccarat Rouge 540.
A classic. I purchased it without testing, now my favorite everyday. I receive compliments every single time I wear it, sometimes hours after spraying. Totally worth the price tag. I love love it. I want to purchase a personalized mini for travel. Great video!!
This is the no 1 fragrance in my collection. After finishing the 70 ml, I purchased the 200 ml and now almost halfway. Completely agree: nothing compares. Nothing, period. I tried all the ‘flankers’. The airyness of this perfume plus the hospital smell... it’s unbeatable! Love🥰.
The presentation is breath taking when you get it directly from the house 😊
This perfume is everything you said! 💕 This scent is gorgeous and unique and lux! The reason why many people might be disappointed with it, it's that reviewers say that it's VERY potent and it FILLS a room and it LASTS for ever. So when we get it, we imagine something strong like Coco Mademoiselle or Alien or Delina etc. But in my opinion (I'm not and expert, far from it) this scent is airy, transparent and crystalline.💎 It's so sophisticated! Where I live, no one knows about it, so I feel pretty unique when I wear it. 😉 And I must admit that it makes me feel rich and elegant! @@minonasri3730 in my opinion, even if it is such a sophisticated and luxury perfume, it still too expensive (around 400$ canadian dollars for 75 ml). I also have Casino Royale from Dua (clone house) it almost an exact copy. It performs the same way but you can smell it on yourself more. I wore both and I got compliments only when I was wearing the clone. I even had a woman chasing after me to ask me what it was!

It does smell so good. I got mine from Lucky scent a few weeks ago and I love the scent after receiving a sample of the extrait from Bloomies. I have the EDP version tho 😊

I love Baccarat Rouge 540 but haven't splurged yet because when I wore my dupe from Oilperfumery to the office folks went crazy trying to figure out who smelled so good. I'll eventually cave in and buy the real deal because this scent is divine!!😍
Ok, just ordered dupe from Oil Perfumery to see if not only would LOVE it, but if I wouldn’t want to spend close to 300$ for the original. I hope I am well pleased.

Wore BR540 for 1st time today, I was outside in humidity on porch w/female client who told me 3 times that I smelled really good. I don’t smell it on me anymore but like you said, that BR540 bubble still surrounds you and people will smell it. It doesn’t smell like anything in history of perfumes, it really is skin scent like you said. Another influencer said it was “molecule scent”. I’m late to the MFK party but I understand the hype now. I’ve worn perfumes all my life and I never buy anything twice. But this makes me swoon, I’ll keep buying this until I have to declare bankruptcy 😂 💸
Thank you for the nuanced point at 9:48. You’re absolutely correct! I had to just bite the bullet and buy a bottle. NONE of my dupes “acted” as my decant of BR 540. There is no other perfume that I own, that “acts” as BR 540 does, on my skin. It’s like a paradox in a bottle: PRESENT yet airy, SWEET yet bitter (woody) etc. just GORGEOUS!!!!

Luckily I have Baccarat and you are absolutely right on, it pulls differently on each person. I definitely get sweet warm creamy in the dry down. It’s beautifully blended ❤️

Been wearing this fragrance since 2015 since being a part of the Baccarat hotel pre-opening team. This is the signature scent of the Baccarat hotel in New York City, this fragrance was launched as the 250 year anniversary of the Baccarat Crystal company in France, with only 250 bottles of this fragrance made in Crystal decants. You smell this fragrance as soon as you enter through the hotel doors and also serves as the signature scent for the bath amenities. 😊

I love 540 one of the best perfumes
Alot of people say that it's too popular now and not unique any more due to everyone wearing it but to be honest this is a master piece! Many had tried to clone it and till this day they still do but it just never seems to be like it, similar but not the same. Such a masterpiece in my opinion.
Side note: My husband rocks this and it smells so intoxicating on him!
I was concerned about the popularity of it but really and truly, life is too short. If you love the way something smells, get it!
I agree I see people saying this is beast mode scent I'm like no not on me it doesnt project imo not for a long time at least

It is worth it! some reviewers say it smells medicinal (and that is their opinion) but it does not. I am afraid to spray mine...LOL it is so special. I have the 2.5 OZ. Next year I may order a 2nd to have in case the brand reformulates like so many other brands have. SMH.
I only have a sample. The first time I put it on, everyone in my family told me that it smelled so good. To me there’s something about it that reminds me of cold fresh air. One day, I want to get a bottle

Biggest mistake I did was forget to test the scents on my skin today and only did it on paper. I didn't like a lot of scents on paper so now I don't know how it'll smell on me.
I have the chanel Tendre EDT and I didn't like the smell of it, but on my skin it smells amazing.

This scent is a love and hate for me because i don't really like the smell upclose and i can't smell it on me but everyone smells me everytime i'm around or walk. They go crazy about it. ❤️ Even a total stranger asked what i wear because i smell so good.

I got my entire office on this sent. It started with my coming in with sample and letting my department smell it then the word just spread 😂. I bought the trio from twisted lilly for $180 but it’s so good I’m ready to make the jump for the $300 bottle. It’ll be a birthday gift to me lol

Karina, I must have lousy body chemistry because BR 540 doesn’t last on me. It reminds me of band-aids or medicine, and doesn’t last. The scent disappears after about 15 min on me. I treated my self with this during April when we were still in lockdown, so I think of it as my remote teaching/quarantine/lockdown scent.
I love BR 540 so much I have the oil the body cream and a couple of dupes along with the actual juice!

That marine “bile” or acidic note is actually what turned me off the first time I smelled it. I looked up what Ambergris was and it makes total sense, since thats basically what it is derived from. I did get use to it after a while and its not sooooo offensive to me now and I can appreciate it a lot more now.
MFK is the only one of the fragrances that I have pulled the trigger and bought larger and more of. It is wonderful, Delina and all the others are great I get those too but not in the amount I get MFK. The day I smelled MFK it was over period!! Thanks for sharing!! Hope you are having a great week.

old video but my box did not look that plain. it was very decorated and had a lot of gold graphics on the box still obviously the same shape and material. I guess they used different packaging for some places.

I agree! The Oud Satin Mood is sexy as hell! 🔥 I’m not a Baccarat fan although I do like the Extrait version more. But the Oud Satin Mood is one of the best blended oud’s I’ve ever smelled b/c it’s not your usual Bam 💥 in your face Middle Eastern oud. Which I love as well but sometimes you just need it a little settle 😊
Oud Satin Mood is what does it for me. I have not smelled the Silk one.
Scent reminds me a bit of Aventus for Her. Just aventus has deeper character.

Help !! I have been wearing 540 since it was released but I have noticed in the past year I can not smell it on myself. I hate spending $400/$450 for others to compliment me - and I can no longer smell it on my clothes. Has that ever happened to you with any scent? I have been offered a couple of alternatives such as Burberry , House of Sillage Whispers of Truth, Parfum de Marley Delina,, Jo Malone Mimosa & Cardamom even Cloud a Ariana Grande scent (way to sweet woody notes not quite there). I live in Rhode Island and am 2 hours from Boston and 3 hours from New York City so unable to travel (due to Covid) to a Nordstrom - Saks - Perfume Boutique. I still have 2/3s of a bottle and ordered the travel size to be certain it was just not this bottle. But to no avail - I even had my daughter-in-law spray it before a afternoon out and I could not smell her - but she got several compliments. Thanks for any help you or anyone can be..
PS: I live on the beach front - so your description of the saltwater vibe - maybe why I fell in love with it !
My two cents on BR540: I jumped on the curiosity bandwagon and bought myself a discovery set which included BR540. I disliked it from the get go. I like the cotton candy side of it, but I detest the other side of it which I don't know if it's created by the wood mixture. I suppose it's the woods that give it that weird note that I cannot pass. At first, my first impression was one of a weird tobacco smell. I couldn't put my finger on it, what was that nasty smell. I still don't know what it is. Some people perceive it in the weirdest of ways: latex gloves, hospital, dentist office, sea water, salt/ocean, driftwood, medicine, etc. I don't smell any of that, I smell a nasty tobacco smell, well at least that was my first impression. I cannot stand any of its dupes either for the same exact reason. I just thought I would share my experience and if anyone agrees with me, and with any idea what note creates that mystery smell.
Thanks for sharing your experience with this scent. I always say that fragrances pull so different on everyone and so with Niche def. get a sample before you get a full bottle.

It's funny. I have walked by this fragrance house for years. I would spray some on paper every now and then. Each time I wouldn't care for the scent on paper. So, I never tried it on my skin. I was out at my favorite spot recently, Tysons Galleria. I was looking around because I just had to commemorate my 1st Chanel bag purchase with a new fragrance from a new house. I decided to give MFK the skin test. I tested Oud Silk Mood. OMG!! FREAKIN AMAZIN!! I was so mad I had not given any of these a skin test 😭 I purchased it right on the spot. I had a sample of the Baccarat R 540 made. I fell in love with that as well. I bought the extrait de parfum for both. I have received compliments each time I've worn both. I will be trying the other ones. I freakin love perfume!! ❤

In the USA you can get a sample from Luckyscent. Also Nordstrom's sells a full set of lotion, extrait and candle. Dossier and Alt makes inspired dupes. On me, 540 is deep and creamy, yet impossibly airy and ethereal. Marvelous.
Luckyscent is the Best! 🙌🏾 I get all my samples of niche fragrances from there.
I literally got a sample of baccarat from them today and I was so disappointed! It is such a light almost indiscernible fragrance. I thought it was a fake and I am about to order a sample from a different website.

Am I the only one that smells a dentist office? I have only a sample from lucky scent. Sometimes spraying it out of a bottle and having a micro sample is night and day. So I may need to keep exploring the scent of Baccarat Rouge lol.
I got a sample from LS too- and that dentist feel comes from the saffron- but then it becomes deeper and creamier.

I just go the the oil perfumery dupe and initially experienced that slight fish undertone too but now I’m addicted to it. So it might just take some time to get used to probably.

Sorry guys, but I think this just smells sweet and boring and not worth the cost. It smells nice and likeable. To me it smells like a teenager's scent. For the price the longevity is not great either
