@@angiematney3826 Oh Feminin Pluriel (the original Pink Version) I really enjoyed and wore it for a couple years …then went and ordered a new one this year.. I was shocked that it was now yellow and the fragrance scent had changed too. I am mildly upset but that’s the nature of fragrance ..they have a good perfume and then they need to reformulate. On this particular one they removed the Lilly of the Valley😕
After testing all, I really loved the BR540 extrait, a friend purchased a large bottle for me as she worked in an awesome store….I finally sprayed it on me and 😭 they must’ve changed the batch as it turned a very strong oud, the opening lasted a sneeze and that ick oud came through( not the lovely Tahitian oud in Sil mood) I can’t even take it back as it was a staff purchase . I might just try putting the oil on after the spray and see if that helps. My extrait sample from set is very different as I still have it to compare …waaaahhhh 🥰🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺❤️🩷🧡
I find Amyris Femme to project quite a bit & last about 4-5 hours. I only wear about 4 sprays & have received compliments from 2-3 feet away, such an underrated beauty for summer! Modern & elegant 💛 also I’ve heard that APOM is being rereleased this fall.
Haha I came to this video after smelling Amerys Femme at the store earlier--Coco Mademoiselle is one of my faves and I absolutely loved Amerys Femme and am going to pick it up soon.
Literally the solid 5 you said are a great starting point are the only 5 I have 😂 though I was slightly scared the reformulation of feminin pluriel would’ve altered the scent so happy to hear that it smells the same! ❤
I'm always so impressed with your descriptions. Amyris Femme; feminine wear to church type fragrance is exactly how I described it! 🤣 it's hard to describe it any other way. It's elegant but definitely not overpowering. I like it and always want to grab more samples, but it's not WOW enough for me to buy a full bottle, especially for the price and lasting effects of the perfume. ❤
i hate baccarat rouge unfortunatelly, and also cannot stand all the dupes people use...because of br disliking i wasn't into mfk brand at all.. but after this video i think oud satin mood and gentle fluidity gold are perfect for me. Thank you so much
@@mischaraine1645 YES, i KNOW, but i said that because i thought i would like it and spend a lot of money. Longevity is so good but UNFORTUNATELLY it is NO from ME
Sadly, the original BR 540 formula changed some time back. It’s no longer the masterpiece it once was. LVMH either changed the formula or they cheapened the ingredients, possibly both. It was so spectacular and it was a beast with amazing longevity.
@@oscarludvig692 They deny it. It could be cheaper ingredients. The ones from Saks are not like the original. Also, check out the reviews on Saks. Maybe some people don’t notice if they didn’t have the original beast that was a masterpiece imo.
I like the Kayali “Oudgasm” Ouds (especially the Rose Oud 16), but I think they are kind of “training wheel” ouds. Don’t know if anything reminiscent of a “barnyard” would float my boat. Which of the MFK Ouds would appeal to a chicken like me?
That's fascinating! What a bummer. It smells like very powdery light tobacco smoke on me with a slight sweetness. It's not my favorite perfume, but every time I pull a piece of clothing out that I sprayed, I'm always drawn to it. Crazy how different we all are. 😍😮💨
@@katush80 yes. I like the scent in a bottle for example. That is why I got a sample. Twice even as I could not believe the first time the rotten smell it have become an hour after i sprayed it. But perfumes will smell different on everyone, so this is why i never blind buy anything. I also do not like any of the Amouage scents- Love delight and guidance- not my cup of tea at all.
Smaller size for sure. I get 11ml and I am probably sorted for life. Most perfumes require 1-2sprits to fill in a room and 3 will completely suffocate everyone around. I have oud satin mood and oud silk mood
I bought a big bottle of br540 from the mfk site and it smells nothing 😳😳 I just don’t understand how that happened or what’s going on 😅🤷🏼♀️ The extrait is also feel super cheap on me , it’s more like a body spray then an overpriced parfume 😔 It is supposed to be this weak ? 😮😢
I hate Ariana Grande Cloud,i can't stand near it,it's just disgusting.Baccarat Rouge 540 is a bit more tolerable, extrait is better than just 540,but still unpleasant for me.
Francis Kurkdjian made this $14 perfume back in the day , called Green Tea , sold at drugstores and Ross now , so no, you haven’t tried all his perfumes , you’re just jumping on the bandwagon and sniffing the new ones only
He is the nose behind over 250 perfumes across dozens of brands (including Elizabeth Arden Green Tea which I have owned for many years but is irrelevant to this video)...so no, I have not tried every single one. This video is specifically outlining his brand - Maison Francis Kurkdjian
Feminin Pluriel is my favorite MFK too. It was love at first snif for me, a scent I never want to be without. It was how I discovered I love iris.

MFK has become my favorite fragrance house. I own 4 and have 2 (maybe 3) more on my list. Great video!

To me, Oud Satin Mood extrait is so much better and smoother than edp
I've got too many vanillas. Looking at getting either Gentle Fluidity Silver or Silk Mood, both are different but are needed in my collection

I love the Amyris Femme, one of my favs from MFK. :)
i Love amyris femme
Amyris Femme & Extrait are so beautiful and so underrated.
Nice overview! I'm trying to find the one with frankincense smell. Would you know which one that is?

Gentle Fluidity Gold is one of my favorites, but APOM is a close second

when did this happen, got a really strong one and bought 2 months ago from their website, have not seen any articles about a reformulation.

Where would you wear the Oud Satin Mood? I have it. It's so strong that I spray once and walk into it. Love it though
I used to wear it often for corporate events and cool weather date nights/outings 🥰

Unpopular opinion- I can not stand BR 540. It smells like a rotten bitter and sour fruit on me. Horrible on me
You are not alone … I am not a fan either!!

@@macademia8151 for sure! I'm like that with xerjoff scents, chemical all day long. I smell zero perfume. So weird!
I don't get all the hype about it myself.
damn. feminine pluriel was out of stock for sooooo long. the reformulation now explain this. probably petit matin is also getting reformulated.
what about baccarat rouge 540 extrait? did I miss it?
I did a dedicated comparison video separately

You may be anosmic to it
lots of people don’t smell 540 I think try it on your friends
This video just called me poor in every language
Lol.. I'm right there with you😊
I don't wanna try them because they are too expensive for me. I would hate it if I would like one and can't afford it.
Totally understandable! I felt that way about the L'Art et La Matiere collection from guerlain and they ultimately got me to fall in love 😆🙈
Let me summarize, nothing is worth the price!! Nothing is unique, everything can be found way cheaper
I don’t like the aqua vitea at all 🤮 it has after smell that’s really weird on me

Me too. Cloud gave me a sore throat and a headache. Is BR just like that? I bought the dupe Victoria Secrets Midnight Bloom and it’s fabulous!!!!
