kyra williams I totally agree with you, that’s why I said there wasn’t a dupe that’s 100%. It’s definitely in a category of its own which makes up for the high price tag. Unfortunately your average person can’t afford the splurge on a $500 perfume bottle so having something that comes close and won’t break the bank is good.
With the Burberry Her Intense maybe he made it to smell similar for those that couldn't afford 540 but still wanted to have the same feel of that fragrance. So people at all price points can enjoy his fragrances.

I have a decant of Baccarat Rouge 540, and finally, yesterday I went to Ulta to try Burberry her, Burberry her intense and Arianna Grande Cloud on my skin and on paper. My experience: the closer to BR540, in my opinion, is Arianna Grande Cloud but not in the beginning. Burberry fragrances are really different from each other and totally different from BR540. All of them are long-lasting with heavy sillage. But, you try before buy.
That Burberry Her intense gets compliments from everywhere! After seeing this video Last year. I made someone gift it to me for Christmas. A few weeks ago I was sitting with my homegirl who actually owns baccarat 540 and she looked at me and said “You got on Baccarat??” I was so hyped on the inside!! 😂 … So if you’re second guessing, don’t. I get compliments from men and women! The men be like “You smelling good!” And the women just ask what do I have on because it smells so good. 10/10
I have both and my first though when I sprayed Allsaints is "omg it smells exactly like Baccarat". But after 10-15mns it turns to be more elegant, fresher, ocean and more like a younger lady than Baccarat
Because he is smart....not everyone can afford 540....besides they are not completely similar....540 is more medicinal, antiseptic type of a scent and Her Intense has less of that scent and leans towards the sweeter side. I cannot bare 540 unfortunately, but i adore Her Intense! Two perfumes, same vibe but kind of "polarised"....meaning that they cover everybody 's taste both 540 lovers and 540 haters....for me really smart move 😉

I totally agree with you in regard to all saints cloud and her. I have her and cloud and went to Nordstrom here in the US before Christmas and smelled all saints I told the sales lady that it smelled just like cloud and the cloud was said to smell like 540. So it’s nice to know my noise was on point. I have never smelled 540 but get compliments when I wear cloud all the time. I will have to try 540 soon. Also I did notice that all saints did not have longevity which sucks. Love your accent 💕

I blind bought Cloud and on my skin it turned into something like burned plastic, but on my clothes it is amaaaaazing. I'm waiting for my Baccarat sample and I'm afraid as hell that I'm gonna love it :P
As someone who ultimately plans to purchase the real thing at some point, I will say that Sensual Instinct from the house of Montale is the closest thing to it that I've put my nose on so far. I ordered a bunch of samples that I received today and was totally shocked when I sprayed that one lol
This is super helpful for me, I was thinking about spurging on a fancier perfume and heard amazing things about Baccarat Rouge 540, but was uncertain about spending money on something so luxurious and then not liking it. So a dupe would make me feel better just incase the scent was not for me.
I’ve been testing 540 all week. I learned it smells different on me depending on which soap I use to bath. Weird but I’ve learned which soaps to avoid and which work well with this perfume.
Cloud by Ariana is my favourite dupe (I know I’m probably biased with my pfp haha) it’s so similar to Bacarat rouge but when it settles on the wrist, it’s definitely not the exact same but it’s very pretty. The price point is fairly good too and people always compliment me when I wear it.
You be surprised how many compliments I get when I wear Cloud!! I am 38 years old, men and women asks me what am I wearing lol 😄I love it smells good! it also depends on your skin chemistry!💗🤗
Bella Night by Oscar de la Renta is the best dupe for BR 540 between edp/edt in my opinion. Cloud by AG doesn’t remind me BR at all😅 Bath&Body Works has the whole line named “In the stars” and that one is even more closer to BR than any of these designer fragrances🙂 And it’s great to layering. (Sorry for my English)
Alexandria Fragrances’ ‘Interplay’ is sooooo close to 540 (and it’s only $64). I’ve smelled all the ones you’ve suggested and they do smell similar, but y’all gotta get your hands on Interplay. I was FLOORED. I might do a review on it soon!
I actually blind bought Alexandria's Interplay Extrait and have already killed my bottle...well me and my husband. It's amazing and I love how it stays in my sweaters,scarves, and jackets so long and makes the closet smell amazing!❤
Francis Kurkdjan is also the nose behind Nina Ricci's L'Extase Rose Absolue which is a beautiful, beautiful darker, sweet rose scent. The price tag is unbeatable and I feel like no one paid this beautiful fragrance any attention.
Oil perfumery, fragrenza, and yes alexandria all straight up have 540 inspired scent. I just ordered some yesterday and havent received mine yet. I own the 540 so it will be interesting to see if the 5 star reviews on the website are legit. Great video, I do love 540 so im in constant search for a cheaper version. Lol!!!

Karina, girlfriend, I loved this review! I had never heard of Sunset Riot. I'm ordering it tomorrow from Ulta (3.4 oz. for $79). Now, Ariana Grande Cloud is a fragrance I've never tried, but I was tempted to purchase a travel size until you mentioned Sunset Riot smelling closer to MFK Baccarat Rouge 540. I already had Burberry Her Intense on my dresser, so I sprayed it, and then sprayed my Baccarat Rouge 540 sample on top. I loved how well the two Fragrances meshed on my skin and how long-lasting the two were vs BR540 alone. I can't wait to receive Sunset Riot! Again, I thank you because BR540 is not in my budget. . . LoL, a 1-oz. bottle isn't in my budget. 😄 CELESTE, in the ATL 🌻
I have both the Burberry intense and the cloud...I think I prefer cloud it’s less candy smelling and sugary. Burberry reminds me of berry flavoured candy. Cloud is very long lasting stays on my clothes forever and people seem to notice it more much worth the money.
I find the dry down on Cloud to be really offensive to my nose! I loved it on the strip so I bought it and I'm regretting the purchase. If you're thinking of buying cloud I would reccomend smelling the dry spritzer before buying, the dry bottle has the same off note that bothers me on dry down. Every nose is different, so I can see why some love it. Just a warning! :)

Alpha fragrances sells authentic decanters and they have 540 for a great price in various sizes! They also have awesome reviews. If you want 540 but not quite ready to splurge on a full bottle, for sure go that route! New subbie!

I just got my BR 540 but I can’t smell it past the first couple of moments after applying. Everyone around me says i smells amazing, but unfortunately I am in the class of not being to smell it.

I like this perfume in the extrait formulation. To me the original formulation isn’t as strong and it’s kind of a cold, sterile scent to me. But the Extrait version is more stronger, sweeter and more warm. Only problem is that it’s very expensive at $425 here in the states although you can find it for much cheaper at Selfridges. But my favorite fragrance by this nose is Gentle Fluidity Gold and it’s much cheaper at $225 in the states. I like more sweeter scents and this one is sweet, feminine and warm, I love it!
My favourite dupe is no.504 intense from Eden Purfumes, I’m not sure if it’s available in US or Canada, I’m in the UK. It’s sooooo good, it’s vegan, cruelty free and it lasts longer than any other dupe I’ve tried. They do amazing dupes for lots of fragrances, I have the Flower Bomb one which is really similar too. You can search for your favourite on their website and it will bring up their dupe.
I see the resemblance between BR540 and Cloud but only in the air. On the skin Cloud smells more coconut. Parfums Vintage has the best dupe for BR540. Has great longevity and projection. I love it! Great video btw. I want to try Burberry next.
Karina Waldron It’s a clone house called Parfums Vintage and the fragrance is called Sunset in Heaven. I’m sure they ship Worldwide. I bought a decant before committing to a bottle and honestly it’s amazing. I wear it everyday. I don’t feel the need to buy BR540 anymore. I would say BR540 is slightly sweeter but I’ve done a side by side and it’s like 98%.

The best dupe for Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait is Al Haramain Amber Rouge. And for Baccarat Rouge 540 EDP is Al Haramain Manege RougeI own both an indeed it’s an unbelievable exact match.

I would assume, and someone may have mentioned this before, that he made a similar fragrance for another company because he recognizes that most women cannot afford a perfume that costs as much as baccart rouge, and this way he still make a cut.
IMO burberry her intense smells like hair spritz. Ordered all saints sunset riot because I just can’t bring myself to spend $300 on one perfume. I’ll come back and say how that blind buy goes. Update 12/17: I was SOOO scared because I didn’t like her intense or Ariana grande cloud but this all saints dupe is SPOT ON! The opening smells EXACTLY like 540. I don’t expect this dupe to have the same lasting power. The dry down emphasizes the pink pepper more but I feel satisfied with this. The dry down smell can honestly get lost. Probably will still get 540 for my birthday.
Baccarat rouge turned very mediciny on me. All I smelled was mediciny candy floss and some ocean notes. I wanted to love it. I definitely bought into the hype. Sadly I had to return it. All saints sunset riot was everything that Baccarat should have been for me. Don’t have the mediciny smell. Love it. Thanks for the recommendation ❤️❤️
As I supposed you like Baccarat Rouge and you’d like to have it in tour collection, but as you mentioned at a beggining - it’s pricey. BUT - and I’m affreid we all tend to do this - when you sum up all the fragrances that you introduced to us here and you own them it’s probbably more that a sum you’d pay for a FK BR540 itself - f.e. at his page you can buy it for 195 euro (and it ships to Canada) which is around the same (or even maybe less) then the full proce for all the introduced scents. But of course, it all depends what gives us mor joy. But that is sth I tend to do sometimes - I want something expensive, but than I’d rather buy sth „cheaper” - or rather 2 or 3 bottles of „cheaper” fragrances:) - and actually spend on them even a greater amount of money. :)
martisticm well this video was to give options. You definitely don’t need all three scents but only one that best resembles 540 to you. Here in Canada that perfume is $400 for the small bottle. All three perfumes I mention in my video would come up to around $290, that’s still cheaper then one 30ml bottle of 540 lol. As I mentioned in the video 540 is gorgeous and some day I will probably end up buying it but for now it’s well over my budget so I’ll settle for something similar.
Check out DUA’s dupes.....they are AMAZING!, Not that cheap (about $50 for 30ml) but they are SUPERB dupes and are VERY strong, with great longevity, projection, and silage.
I absolutely love 540 but cant convince myself to pay that much for it lol BUT I found an alternative at bath and body works called In the stars. Smells just like it !

Baccarat Rouge is extremely complex, while a few come close, none have quite the intricacy or the sophistication of BR540. *Well* worth the splurge!

Found Cloud @ my local ROSS for $19 for the EDP and $6 for the body spray. Love this scent. It doesn't last long on the skin.

I wore this for a few days and the gentle fluidity gold was overwhelming and gave me headaches. I much prefer Baccarat

Oil perfumery, fragrenza, and yes alexandria all straight up have 540 inspired scent. I just ordered some yesterday and havent received mine yet. I own the 540 so it will be interesting to see if the 5 star reviews on the website are legit. Great video, I do love 540 so im in constant search for a cheaper version. Lol!!!

Karina, girlfriend, I loved this review! I had never heard of Sunset Riot. I'm ordering it tomorrow from Ulta (3.4 oz. for $79).
Now, Ariana Grande Cloud is a fragrance I've never tried, but I was tempted to purchase a travel size until you mentioned Sunset Riot smelling closer to MFK Baccarat Rouge 540.
I already had Burberry Her Intense on my dresser, so I sprayed it, and then sprayed my Baccarat Rouge 540 sample on top.
I loved how well the two Fragrances meshed on my skin and how long-lasting the two were vs BR540 alone.
I can't wait to receive Sunset Riot! Again, I thank you because BR540 is not in my budget. . . LoL, a 1-oz. bottle isn't in my budget. 😄

I have both the Burberry intense and the cloud...I think I prefer cloud it’s less candy smelling and sugary. Burberry reminds me of berry flavoured candy. Cloud is very long lasting stays on my clothes forever and people seem to notice it more much worth the money.
Faith do you have cloud 2.0 ? How would you rate that compared to Baccarat?
I find the dry down on Cloud to be really offensive to my nose! I loved it on the strip so I bought it and I'm regretting the purchase. If you're thinking of buying cloud I would reccomend smelling the dry spritzer before buying, the dry bottle has the same off note that bothers me on dry down.
Every nose is different, so I can see why some love it. Just a warning! :)

Alpha fragrances sells authentic decanters and they have 540 for a great price in various sizes! They also have awesome reviews. If you want 540 but not quite ready to splurge on a full bottle, for sure go that route! New subbie!

I just got my BR 540 but I can’t smell it past the first couple of moments after applying. Everyone around me says i smells amazing, but unfortunately I am in the class of not being to smell it.

I like this perfume in the extrait formulation. To me the original formulation isn’t as strong and it’s kind of a cold, sterile scent to me. But the Extrait version is more stronger, sweeter and more warm. Only problem is that it’s very expensive at $425 here in the states although you can find it for much cheaper at Selfridges. But my favorite fragrance by this nose is Gentle Fluidity Gold and it’s much cheaper at $225 in the states. I like more sweeter scents and this one is sweet, feminine and warm, I love it!
The one you love to hate Spot on for my taste! Lol GF gold is my favorite, second is BR540 extrait :)

My favourite dupe is no.504 intense from Eden Purfumes, I’m not sure if it’s available in US or Canada, I’m in the UK. It’s sooooo good, it’s vegan, cruelty free and it lasts longer than any other dupe I’ve tried. They do amazing dupes for lots of fragrances, I have the Flower Bomb one which is really similar too. You can search for your favourite on their website and it will bring up their dupe.
Orientica Amber Rouge is the best dupe for BKR540, second one is Rasasi Qasamat Bareeq
I see the resemblance between BR540 and Cloud but only in the air. On the skin Cloud smells more coconut. Parfums Vintage has the best dupe for BR540. Has great longevity and projection. I love it! Great video btw. I want to try Burberry next.

Karina Waldron It’s a clone house called Parfums Vintage and the fragrance is called Sunset in Heaven. I’m sure they ship Worldwide. I bought a decant before committing to a bottle and honestly it’s amazing. I wear it everyday. I don’t feel the need to buy BR540 anymore. I would say BR540 is slightly sweeter but I’ve done a side by side and it’s like 98%.

Holt Renfrew has the 70 ml perfume oil of Baccarat Rouge for $125. I love perfume oil! Just a few drops will do!
I would assume, and someone may have mentioned this before, that he made a similar fragrance for another company because he recognizes that most women cannot afford a perfume that costs as much as baccart rouge, and this way he still make a cut.

IMO burberry her intense smells like hair spritz. Ordered all saints sunset riot because I just can’t bring myself to spend $300 on one perfume. I’ll come back and say how that blind buy goes.
Update 12/17: I was SOOO scared because I didn’t like her intense or Ariana grande cloud but this all saints dupe is SPOT ON! The opening smells EXACTLY like 540. I don’t expect this dupe to have the same lasting power. The dry down emphasizes the pink pepper more but I feel satisfied with this. The dry down smell can honestly get lost. Probably will still get 540 for my birthday.

Baccarat rouge turned very mediciny on me. All I smelled was mediciny candy floss and some ocean notes. I wanted to love it. I definitely bought into the hype. Sadly I had to return it. All saints sunset riot was everything that Baccarat should have been for me. Don’t have the mediciny smell. Love it. Thanks for the recommendation ❤️❤️
As I supposed you like Baccarat Rouge and you’d like to have it in tour collection, but as you mentioned at a beggining - it’s pricey. BUT - and I’m affreid we all tend to do this - when you sum up all the fragrances that you introduced to us here and you own them it’s probbably more that a sum you’d pay for a FK BR540 itself - f.e. at his page you can buy it for 195 euro (and it ships to Canada) which is around the same (or even maybe less) then the full proce for all the introduced scents. But of course, it all depends what gives us mor joy. But that is sth I tend to do sometimes - I want something expensive, but than I’d rather buy sth „cheaper” - or rather 2 or 3 bottles of „cheaper” fragrances:) - and actually spend on them even a greater amount of money. :)
martisticm well this video was to give options. You definitely don’t need all three scents but only one that best resembles 540 to you. Here in Canada that perfume is $400 for the small bottle. All three perfumes I mention in my video would come up to around $290, that’s still cheaper then one 30ml bottle of 540 lol. As I mentioned in the video 540 is gorgeous and some day I will probably end up buying it but for now it’s well over my budget so I’ll settle for something similar.

Hey hun, I actually haven’t played around with any perfumes from creed but it’s definitely a brand I’ll be exploring in the near future.
Check out DUA’s dupes.....they are AMAZING!, Not that cheap (about $50 for 30ml) but they are SUPERB dupes and are VERY strong, with great longevity, projection, and silage.
