Agreed. When it comes to sequel games, I’d argue Marvel’s Spider-man 2 added a lot more when it comes to combat and traversal than Arkham city. Both are still masterful sequels tho. Arkham City would get crucified if it came out in this day and age. Not every sequel needs to reinvent the wheel in order for it to be considered “good”.

The game was definitely great there were massive improvements and the story was definitely 🔥. That being said some of those MJ sequences could have been shorter and some side missions were hit and miss. They also still need to patch some stuff in the game like a few glitches as well as matching the tendrils with the right suit. We also need more skins for Peter overall 9/10 for me.
Don't agree with the MJ sections, there's only 3 of them. And they are all great, the 2nd MJ mission is also mixed with Miles' gameplay and it's one of the best missions in the game

Me personally I'd just prefer if I didn't have to play them I would rather have done a stealth segment with cat in the sanctum but, I do agree the last MJ mission with miles is objectively the best out of the 3 for sure running from Peter was pretty cool too.

great vid dunking on these clowns 🔥 only wish you’d shown off just how HUGE of a game changer the corner tether can be, using that multiple times in quick succession at high speeds (esp coming directly out of the wingsuit) to suddenly whip yourself thru a narrow opening to the side (like into the alleyways that break up blocks of buildings), immediately making a few zig zagging 90 degree turns and blasting back out into more open space without losing any of your original speed and momentum is just mind blowingly above and beyond anything you could do with the web traversal of the previous games.
Insommac already proved that they not only love Spider-Man but the Marvel universe as a whole with the first game and Miles Moralis, there's was no reason to doubt that they would be able to make Spider-Man 2 a experience that's just as great as the first game.
The guy who said we wouldn’t be able to switch between Miles and Peter at anytime must feel like a 🤡 Honestly a lot of the takes are awful. Apparently Spider-Man 2 sucks because it doesn’t take 500 hours to complete and it didn’t remove the core foundation of the previous games in order for “innovation”. I saw in another post someone saying if Arkham City was released today it would get a lot of similar takes and I agree. I don’t know what’s happened since 2011, but it’s horrible lol.

I don't think you necessarily use the symbiote as traversal. I think it just pops up if you have a symbiote suit. If you're wearing a non symbiote suit, it uses the spider arms to boost in the air
Not gunna lie I do think the game is the same but bigger but I belive dlc will upgrade the map and add more crimes and updates like new game plus n stuff. Had a very good time getting platinum tho thanks for reading and listening to my opinion ❤️🕷️🕸️

From playing all these games and a lot of other games, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 feels very fast. As someone who has played a lot of Web of Shadows recently, the momentum reminds me a lot of that game. Being able to swing shot yourself through the city at break neck speeds. Plus the classic black suit is peak!
I really just don't understand the slander Spider-Man2 gets. Is it a perfect game... NO... There is no perfect game out there. But did this game implement new game features and gameplay from the precious game... Yes it did. And is this game one of the best games of the year... YES!
I laughed so hard when that last guy said that we won't be able to switch between Peter and Miles at any point because I knew exactly that you were going to show that we literally can do that. And it's something that's available very early in the game.
@@cow972 oh boy here we go: Game starts of great with the sandman fight but soon after every mission just feels like its existence is simply there to fund a collectathon, boring ones at that ( except howard :( ). harry's story arc feels hollow with him existing for the sake of existing, i never felt any sort of connection with him and by the end i didnt really care for what he means to the story, the symbiote suit arc ends as soon as it starts with there being barely any changes to peters mood until a few missions before he removes it, and when he does remove it he doesnt reflect on anything he did, instead simply blames it completely on the symbiote. The stealth in the game is made redundant due to the removal of lots of gadgets, weblines just make it boring. post game as mentioned before is just a collectathon with boring endings as either they all set up the next game and or dlc, or mean nothing at all like the spider bots where the only thing somewhat spiderverse is a name drop of miguel delivered by some random character ive never seen nor care for. all this and that the post game also has you stuck with the white symbiote with no option to change it and live out your 'dark peter' fantasies. oh and writers self insert with mj :) that shits ass bro
This video just makes me sad, yes spiderman 2 is a good, but undoubtedly its a sequel that plays it safe and with 5 years could've been so much more, and could've felt like a completely different game, people dont really get how good their games could be anymore, yea some of these people are just making arguments in bad faith, but some of these people actually just wanted more from this game, and that shouldn't be grounds to discourage them (for example the dude talking about web of shadows, its true that game was wayyy more physics based and let you do way more then sm2 even if it didn't have the same flash animations) this games still automated, for the sake of making the player feel cool regardless of skill level, its a game design philosophy that is grounded in what makes the most money, making a daring innovative completely brand new web swinging system with a crazy high skill cieling that you cant just pick up and master by holding one button? Or just making a game that does everything for you and lets you sit back in aww at how cool you are? Obviously the one that doesn't innovate on a pre existing system that has already shown to farm money and appeases the masses, why waste the time if it doesn't make money right? Thats the philosophy these games have, yea they're cool games, but they could've been so much more if they took that chance to put time into an overhaul of the system, they almost did with the automated setting, massive step in the right direction, but cmon, that setting should've been in Mile's Morales, not a chance it took them 5 years to add fall damage and change a few values that let you actually hit the ground Just disappointing to see the community reacting to even just the suggestion of innovation with hate and even confusion on why you'd even wanna make something better when it's already good enough

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is an absolute masterpiece of a game, I may have a few issues with the game but they are minor stuff so I still love the game overall

The move's brutality fits the Symbiote more than if regular Pete or Miles does it probably because having the Symbiote on sets a precedent that the character's under the influence of an external force that's why they wouldn't hold back as much

The game is not gonna flop . A huge part of the buyers are people like myself who simply adored the first game and were impatiently waiting for this one. And still a AAA game with millions invested, good graphics and good gameplay. BUT The pandering and unnecessary woke sh1t is damn annoying. Seriously it’s notoriously noticeable there’s an extra effort to promote diversity , inclusion , lgbt etc ideology where there’s completely uncalled for. Black cat appears in the game for a few minutes to literally just say “I’m gay” and never be seen again lmao. I was like “ok …. Pretty irrelevant you have a gf in Paris but I guess that will be somehow relevant in the story” Nope just a statement. There’s all the other stuff that we already know but for me that one takes the cake. I just make the extra effort to ignore all that sh1t and play the game because I still payed 70€ for it. Honestly, I'll give Lucas half credit for his loop de loop argument because you can have enough speed for a loop de loop but you won't get it unless you dive beforehand. So if you glide down without pressing L3 and try to perform a loop de loop spiderman will let go like a normal swing.
I kinda wish the loop de loop wasn't tied to the dive , and that in general, you could just decide when to let go of the web rather than the game always letting go automatically when hitting the apex of the swing

I think it’s perfectly fair to judge what is shown as an advertisement to some extent. I mean you can only judge what you’ve experienced and with a trailer however you have to be cautious because you don’t know how much is really there speculating is fine and saying how you feel about what was shown is fine but stating things as fact when you dont have the full picture is stupid.
Agreed. Like when the first Sonic movie trailer came out, people criticized it and the people behind it changed the look for him and he looked 100x better. I mean that’s fair. One small thing is that while you have the black suit and the normal suit, Peter crouches in stealth encounters while he’s on the floor. But after you do the lizard boss, he just does the default running and walking animations cz he’s more confident and powerful

Just because it doesn't do EXACTLY what WOS did to a tee, that doesn't mean you don't get a new experience with the symbiote abilities. They made the symbiote a cosmetic skin so that you can have a more customizable experience. WOS and this game have completely different systems in place. And you do get different animations with the symbiote surge, and a couple different finisher animations
@C0LIN. I'm not saying that it doesn't provide a different experience with the abilities. What I am saying is that it would have been nice had there been new base animations - ESPECIALLY in the later half where the black suit evolves into the symbiote suit. Peter's dialog becomes more brutal and aggressive - I just wish the animations reflected that.
I think Spider-Man 2 is a solid 9.3/10. It’s everything I wanted it to be but of course it’s not perfect and some of the points I cut is because it’s missing features from its predecessors. Also wished there was more black cat rather than 1 chase. I could go into detail tho if u want
That’s literally the same reason as to why it’s not a full 10/10 for me yet. Once all the updates come out and they add all those features like New game+, story and side mission replay, changing the weather and your symbiote abilities turning back to black depending on what suit you wear, than it’ll officially be a 10 for me.
I missed a few of those old tricks/devices at first. Then I realized that if the second also included them then there wouldn't be any reason for me to ever play the first game again. It would be like one restaurant having every food I love or having the exact same relationship with all of my friends. I'm glad that i have to go to different places to get different things. it'll be fun to go back and play the first game again , to get to experience using some of those tricks again. Having two games to love is better than just having one.
Dude, I didn’t even know you could do some of the stuff you could do with the webswinging footage. That gameplay was insane! Insomniac definitely outdid themselves with the traversal in Spider-Man 2

The symbiote suit is basically a cosmetic in the game, it's treated like one, because you can't change it during gameplay like in WOS, you literally have to go into the suit menu. On top of that, you can use the abilities on any suit you want, so what's the point?
The crazy part is that TheAmazingLucas even acknowledged that he nitpicks. Only grips I have about this game is not having any replay ability option wether it be the side missions or the main missions after you complete the story at launch as well as being able to use the black symbiote as I know narratively he doesn’t have that suit anymore but that shouldn’t matter when they’ve made both the black and symbiote suits still wearable after you completed the story since it’s cosmetics. Might as well have an option to still change it back to the black color or add customizable colors for the tendrils.
Personally my main gripe woth Spiderman PS4, and somewhat Miles Morales was that the swinging was slower than I wanted it to be. And that I would've appreciated more tricks, and better co trol if possible. I haven't played Spiderman 2 PS5, mostly because I don't have a ps5. But it seems like they've cured the issues of the speed and control I mentioned. Tricks, though, still seem more or less the same, with the addition of the rubiks cube one for Peter. Idk, I wish there was just like some sort of Web swinging mode that was just built for casually having g fun across the city. But aside from that, they really upped the anti with everything in this game when it came to web swinging, faster, a bit more expressive, more options like with the arms and symbiote boosts as well as web wings. I think it's overall a great thing they've done, and just can't wait to see what they do with the next game.
I have some issues with the game like the MJ section, I never cared for those even in the previous game, and Miles’ high school missions are some the most boring missions in the game to me unfortunately, they’re definitely going to be annoying on repeated play throughs But the game is fun overall definitely a step up from the previous 2 games, I’d give it an 8/10 Edit: After beating the game and letting the hype die down I’ve realized I don’t care for the story in this game and the dialogue can be meh if not outright cringey a lot of the time which again is a shame, I much prefer the story of the first game So I’m going to bump my initial score down slightly to a 7.5/10 Also this doesn’t affect my rating of the game but the double standard that Insomniac/Sony has for certain things (like COMPLETELY removing the lgbt dialogue/flags in Middle Eastern versions of the game) is so blatant it hurts
They improved the MJ missions so much! Idk how it doesnt please you guys. You don’t have to necessarily stealth if you dodge to cover, you can fight back, you can go guns blazing with the web shooter attachment if you can dodge, and there are probably many other ways to play these missions once new game plus comes out. Insomniac should add a MJ missions disable option, but if they do I am personally keeping that off because I need more of these missions in a DLC.

I only wish they'd of made it so you could run while holding your web, or even better, I wish Peter and Mile's would curl their legs up when they get that low and would drag their hand on the ground like they do in certain scenes in games or movies. My other complaint would be that I wish you could slingshot in mid air kinda like SM2 on Playstation 2. They're small things but they're great things. Also the interactivity when it came to doing car chases feels like it was a bit dumbed down but that's whatever honestly.
6:10 is a fair criticism and your rebuttal doesn’t have anything to do with what he’s talking about. It doesn’t matter if there’s other segments to the boss fight. He’s saying that simply moving your analog side to side isn’t very engaging gameplay wise, which is fair. I personally didn’t mind, but I found myself pushing my web shooter trigger during those sequences before realizing that there’s nothing more to them, which left me kinda like “Oh, I guess I don’t have to do anything”

Personally I've always played these spider man games for the story and challenges. (Mostly challenges.) A new game is just as exciting as a new DLC, but more so because a new game is more content. I don't need the spider man games to be wildly different, I don't want the spider man games to be too different. The gameplay and how it's presented is personally timeless, and doesn't need many changes to seem fresh. It's just my opinion, though.

My favorite defense is the ol’ “clearly they added that after the showcase. Like do you know how long it takes to develop not just one physics system, but several for an adjustable setting? That alone *might* take a few months, but there’s a ton Insomniac held off on showing because why give everything away?
Also speaking about the swing system not being new they added the ability to add charge jump to your d pad giving tons of new ways to use it during swinging to gain altitude and increase your own speed

Like I hate how every sequel has to reinvent its wheel for it to be good in the eyes of people. If it was good the first time and people liked it. Why change it completely instead of just improving or adding onto it?
Agreed. When it comes to sequel games, I’d argue Marvel’s Spider-man 2 added a lot more when it comes to combat and traversal than Arkham city. Both are still masterful sequels tho. Arkham City would get crucified if it came out in this day and age. Not every sequel needs to reinvent the wheel in order for it to be considered “good”.

The game was definitely great there were massive improvements and the story was definitely 🔥. That being said some of those MJ sequences could have been shorter and some side missions were hit and miss. They also still need to patch some stuff in the game like a few glitches as well as matching the tendrils with the right suit. We also need more skins for Peter overall 9/10 for me.
The mj missions couldn't have been longer than 5mins each. They weren't really long at all

Don't agree with the MJ sections, there's only 3 of them. And they are all great, the 2nd MJ mission is also mixed with Miles' gameplay and it's one of the best missions in the game

Me personally I'd just prefer if I didn't have to play them I would rather have done a stealth segment with cat in the sanctum but, I do agree the last MJ mission with miles is objectively the best out of the 3 for sure running from Peter was pretty cool too.

great vid dunking on these clowns 🔥 only wish you’d shown off just how HUGE of a game changer the corner tether can be, using that multiple times in quick succession at high speeds (esp coming directly out of the wingsuit) to suddenly whip yourself thru a narrow opening to the side (like into the alleyways that break up blocks of buildings), immediately making a few zig zagging 90 degree turns and blasting back out into more open space without losing any of your original speed and momentum is just mind blowingly above and beyond anything you could do with the web traversal of the previous games.

Honestly a lot of the takes are awful. Apparently Spider-Man 2 sucks because it doesn’t take 500 hours to complete and it didn’t remove the core foundation of the previous games in order for “innovation”.
I saw in another post someone saying if Arkham City was released today it would get a lot of similar takes and I agree. I don’t know what’s happened since 2011, but it’s horrible lol.
People like that probably existed back then. Unfortunately it is easier now than ever for bad takes to become popular.

I don't think you necessarily use the symbiote as traversal. I think it just pops up if you have a symbiote suit. If you're wearing a non symbiote suit, it uses the spider arms to boost in the air

From playing all these games and a lot of other games, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 feels very fast. As someone who has played a lot of Web of Shadows recently, the momentum reminds me a lot of that game. Being able to swing shot yourself through the city at break neck speeds. Plus the classic black suit is peak!
I love how they all complain about no new animations, then in the game there’s a load of new unique animations

Game starts of great with the sandman fight but soon after every mission just feels like its existence is simply there to fund a collectathon, boring ones at that ( except howard :( ). harry's story arc feels hollow with him existing for the sake of existing, i never felt any sort of connection with him and by the end i didnt really care for what he means to the story, the symbiote suit arc ends as soon as it starts with there being barely any changes to peters mood until a few missions before he removes it, and when he does remove it he doesnt reflect on anything he did, instead simply blames it completely on the symbiote. The stealth in the game is made redundant due to the removal of lots of gadgets, weblines just make it boring. post game as mentioned before is just a collectathon with boring endings as either they all set up the next game and or dlc, or mean nothing at all like the spider bots where the only thing somewhat spiderverse is a name drop of miguel delivered by some random character ive never seen nor care for. all this and that the post game also has you stuck with the white symbiote with no option to change it and live out your 'dark peter' fantasies.

This video just makes me sad, yes spiderman 2 is a good, but undoubtedly its a sequel that plays it safe and with 5 years could've been so much more, and could've felt like a completely different game, people dont really get how good their games could be anymore, yea some of these people are just making arguments in bad faith, but some of these people actually just wanted more from this game, and that shouldn't be grounds to discourage them (for example the dude talking about web of shadows, its true that game was wayyy more physics based and let you do way more then sm2 even if it didn't have the same flash animations) this games still automated, for the sake of making the player feel cool regardless of skill level, its a game design philosophy that is grounded in what makes the most money, making a daring innovative completely brand new web swinging system with a crazy high skill cieling that you cant just pick up and master by holding one button? Or just making a game that does everything for you and lets you sit back in aww at how cool you are? Obviously the one that doesn't innovate on a pre existing system that has already shown to farm money and appeases the masses, why waste the time if it doesn't make money right? Thats the philosophy these games have, yea they're cool games, but they could've been so much more if they took that chance to put time into an overhaul of the system, they almost did with the automated setting, massive step in the right direction, but cmon, that setting should've been in Mile's Morales, not a chance it took them 5 years to add fall damage and change a few values that let you actually hit the ground

I kinda agree with Lucas on that point he made about the Wall Kick animation being exclusive to the Symbiote Suit. The move's brutality fits the Symbiote more than if regular Pete or Miles does it probably because having the Symbiote on sets a precedent that the character's under the influence of an external force that's why they wouldn't hold back as much
I mean, I guess it shows the brutality, but they’re still holding back and anyone with skills, an arm and 2 legs can do that, and if that was the case, then we wouldn’t really have that after Peter becomes good again, so that would just become a nerf

Honestly, I'll give Lucas half credit for his loop de loop argument because you can have enough speed for a loop de loop but you won't get it unless you dive beforehand. So if you glide down without pressing L3 and try to perform a loop de loop spiderman will let go like a normal swing.
I kinda wish the loop de loop wasn't tied to the dive , and that in general, you could just decide when to let go of the web rather than the game always letting go automatically when hitting the apex of the swing

I mean you can only judge what you’ve experienced and with a trailer however you have to be cautious because you don’t know how much is really there speculating is fine and saying how you feel about what was shown is fine but stating things as fact when you dont have the full picture is stupid.
Agreed. Like when the first Sonic movie trailer came out, people criticized it and the people behind it changed the look for him and he looked 100x better. Like when Amazing Lucas said the loop de loop was only gonna be “automated, you couldn’t control it yourself and won’t smack into any buildings or the ground.” He made that statement as if we were shown the loop de loop already before the games release (which we weren’t) and made it sound like a fact, when that turned out to not be the case upon the games release. Or like what the other guys said about there being no new animations, no more side content, no character switching etc. Just to be debunked and look stupid.

One thing I will say though is that I do wish the black suits had different base animations. In wos it's like a different character entirely
I mean that’s fair. One small thing is that while you have the black suit and the normal suit, Peter crouches in stealth encounters while he’s on the floor. But after you do the lizard boss, he just does the default running and walking animations cz he’s more confident and powerful

Just because it doesn't do EXACTLY what WOS did to a tee, that doesn't mean you don't get a new experience with the symbiote abilities. They made the symbiote a cosmetic skin so that you can have a more customizable experience. WOS and this game have completely different systems in place. And you do get different animations with the symbiote surge, and a couple different finisher animations
@C0LIN. I'm not saying that it doesn't provide a different experience with the abilities. What I am saying is that it would have been nice had there been new base animations - ESPECIALLY in the later half where the black suit evolves into the symbiote suit. Peter's dialog becomes more brutal and aggressive - I just wish the animations reflected that.
Basically what I'm saying is, while it would have been nice, that doesn't make what we got any less great. Doesn't make or break the game for me
I think Spider-Man 2 is a solid 9.3/10. It’s everything I wanted it to be but of course it’s not perfect and some of the points I cut is because it’s missing features from its predecessors. Also wished there was more black cat rather than 1 chase. I could go into detail tho if u want
That’s literally the same reason as to why it’s not a full 10/10 for me yet. Once all the updates come out and they add all those features like New game+, story and side mission replay, changing the weather and your symbiote abilities turning back to black depending on what suit you wear, than it’ll officially be a 10 for me.
I missed a few of those old tricks/devices at first. Then I realized that if the second also included them then there wouldn't be any reason for me to ever play the first game again. It would be like one restaurant having every food I love or having the exact same relationship with all of my friends. I'm glad that i have to go to different places to get different things. it'll be fun to go back and play the first game again , to get to experience using some of those tricks again. Having two games to love is better than just having one.
Dude, I didn’t even know you could do some of the stuff you could do with the webswinging footage. That gameplay was insane! Insomniac definitely outdid themselves with the traversal in Spider-Man 2

When you dive backwards by pressing L3 hold down the square button and the analog stick down. Only when he dives backwards though

The symbiote suit is basically a cosmetic in the game, it's treated like one, because you can't change it during gameplay like in WOS, you literally have to go into the suit menu. On top of that, you can use the abilities on any suit you want, so what's the point?
It adds customization for the player
The crazy part is that TheAmazingLucas even acknowledged that he nitpicks. He had 407K subscribers and now he has 406K after the incident everyone knows about…glad people are finally starting to see TheAmazingLucas is a terrible reviewer…so bad I can’t even rate how good he is😂😂 (Legends know what this means!🤣)
I think my only minor gripe with this game is how there isn't much new finishers. Amazing game either way
for me, it’s also missing features. like, after the game is done for me, there isn’t much more to do aside from crimes and swinging

Only grips I have about this game is not having any replay ability option wether it be the side missions or the main missions after you complete the story at launch as well as being able to use the black symbiote as I know narratively he doesn’t have that suit anymore but that shouldn’t matter when they’ve made both the black and symbiote suits still wearable after you completed the story since it’s cosmetics. Might as well have an option to still change it back to the black color or add customizable colors for the tendrils.

The weather is a difficult topic, yes yo7 can change it though. Just go to a mysterium with the time you want.

Personally my main gripe woth Spiderman PS4, and somewhat Miles Morales was that the swinging was slower than I wanted it to be. And that I would've appreciated more tricks, and better co trol if possible.
I haven't played Spiderman 2 PS5, mostly because I don't have a ps5. But it seems like they've cured the issues of the speed and control I mentioned. Tricks, though, still seem more or less the same, with the addition of the rubiks cube one for Peter. Idk, I wish there was just like some sort of Web swinging mode that was just built for casually having g fun across the city. But aside from that, they really upped the anti with everything in this game when it came to web swinging, faster, a bit more expressive, more options like with the arms and symbiote boosts as well as web wings. I think it's overall a great thing they've done, and just can't wait to see what they do with the next game.
I have some issues with the game like the MJ section, I never cared for those even in the previous game, and Miles’ high school missions are some the most boring missions in the game to me unfortunately, they’re definitely going to be annoying on repeated play throughs
But the game is fun overall definitely a step up from the previous 2 games, I’d give it an 8/10
Edit: After beating the game and letting the hype die down I’ve realized I don’t care for the story in this game and the dialogue can be meh if not outright cringey a lot of the time which again is a shame, I much prefer the story of the first game
So I’m going to bump my initial score down slightly to a 7.5/10
Also this doesn’t affect my rating of the game but the double standard that Insomniac/Sony has for certain things (like COMPLETELY removing the lgbt dialogue/flags in Middle Eastern versions of the game) is so blatant it hurts
They improved the MJ missions so much! Idk how it doesnt please you guys. You don’t have to necessarily stealth if you dodge to cover, you can fight back, you can go guns blazing with the web shooter attachment if you can dodge, and there are probably many other ways to play these missions once new game plus comes out. Insomniac should add a MJ missions disable option, but if they do I am personally keeping that off because I need more of these missions in a DLC.
@@kaishajacobye I don’t find it enjoyable for the simple fact that I can’t play as spider-man in a spider-man game. The MJ missions has certainly improved but that’s not saying much

I only wish they'd of made it so you could run while holding your web, or even better, I wish Peter and Mile's would curl their legs up when they get that low and would drag their hand on the ground like they do in certain scenes in games or movies. My other complaint would be that I wish you could slingshot in mid air kinda like SM2 on Playstation 2. They're small things but they're great things. Also the interactivity when it came to doing car chases feels like it was a bit dumbed down but that's whatever honestly.
I absolutely agree. I'd love to be able to run on the ground while being swinging like in The Ultimate spiderman game or in the moves.
6:10 is a fair criticism and your rebuttal doesn’t have anything to do with what he’s talking about. It doesn’t matter if there’s other segments to the boss fight. He’s saying that simply moving your analog side to side isn’t very engaging gameplay wise, which is fair. I personally didn’t mind, but I found myself pushing my web shooter trigger during those sequences before realizing that there’s nothing more to them, which left me kinda like “Oh, I guess I don’t have to do anything”

8:28 yea about that the symbiote feels more like a cosmetic than anything else, it's not a power up or addicting like other games unless you use the rage mode which is just braindead, it's really sad that the symbiote suit doesn't have it's own animations and fighting style and I'm not even gonna talk about the lack of finishers in the entire game.
Personally I've always played these spider man games for the story and challenges. (Mostly challenges.) A new game is just as exciting as a new DLC, but more so because a new game is more content. I don't need the spider man games to be wildly different, I don't want the spider man games to be too different. The gameplay and how it's presented is personally timeless, and doesn't need many changes to seem fresh. It's just my opinion, though.
