At this point I see Fielder as the kingmaker. He's a support so he doesn't get the visibility of players LIP or Fearless but he's my MVP. The players he pockets get the glory because they get the picks but he's enabled everything Reign are doing this year and Fuel did the last two. Even going back to when he was playing on PING under Paris Eternal he's always been a transformational player. What's really stuck with me is the Hawk interview earlier this year, when Hawk said Fielder is always pushing him to go in, and be more aggressive even when he doesn't have all of his cooldowns. So every time I hear someone talk about tempo or aggression from the Atlanta Reign I think about that quote. And I'm reminded how up-tempo and aggressive Dallas were with him too. I think he's a kingmaker. If MVP is the most impactful player, or the player you would pick first out of the entire league, then I would choose Fielder. #BurnBlue
I agree, Fielder and Chiyo are honestly the reason why they are so good Obviously Stalker and Lip are destroying, but the supports just don't die and enable their team while getting picks, it's actually insane how good they are

THIS. I’ve been saying this like donghak is literally so good on push maps cause he’s a winston player. But for control it needs to be hawk playing I can’t stress this enough, he’s so good on sigma and ram like we would had not lost to Houston outlaws if hawk played first map an last map.
i personally think donghak is the right call on a map like oasis tho. 2 of the 3 maps are dive maps, and your winston tracer sombra comp is EXCLUSIVELY donghak. if he gets stuck on ram for a point, it isnt as bad as its an easier hero to pick up and slot in to a rush comp, rather than putting your off tank player, hawk, on dive maps where you NEED winston. They could probably win university with hawk in, but what about city center ? hes gonna have to play off meta with a d.va, whos a very shit character with executing dives. Looking back at this match in hindsight and thinking hawk solves everything is a little unfair. if u look at each point, the dong makes the most sense.

Stalkers a great tracer but there are a lot of great tracers. For 4 years Lip has been the best Sombra, the only S tier and there's no one in the A tier. And he has so much impact that everyone in his region has to mirror it, which is why Sombra has been meta for the last 4 years. He's play a different hero from everyone else
LOL the London and Shock one was great for another reason, not two great teams playing really good, high tier OW. That one was great because it was a clown fiesta rarely seen to that degree
Stalker is my MVP vote. The impassive face in the player-cam tells you everything you need to know. His focus on the tracer is impressive and the clutch moments are real.

He's by far Outlaws MVP after Shu maybe. He's literally their best Sombra and Tracer player, something very few players can say on a team like the Outlaws. He's also been an ELITE hitscan still along with flexing over to other things when needed. He was known as a PURE hitscsn pretty much coming into this season, but has evolved his game into a hyper flex nearly. Imo he deserves a role star in a field packed with great DPS
Fielder was the best FS last year, the best this year, and do you remember when they were using IBM Watson to rank players a few years ago before we found out Bobby was a sects pest? Guess who was the #1 player in OWL according to Watson. Fielder. Give that kid an MVP to wrap up the league for dominating an entire half of its existence.
okay i know this might be a super hot take but can we consider chiyo the best support player over a fielder? hear me out. on flex support you have much more visable value therefore you can super flex on the enemy and have great inpact i feel like nobody has had the same impact on the game as chiyo has on main support. hes like the proper of main support doing things that are insane and having very visable impact where main supporta dont usually besides a few boops. hes just doing it constantly. again this isnt my opinion just a thought

As a Shanghai fan I think lip deserves mvp he also got robbed of mvp in 2021 in my opinion. But as a nyxl fan as well I think it would be cool to see another support win MVP like jjonak
I think stalker is the MVP, but I still think that Proper is the best player in the league rn. He's honestly miles ahead of the competition but he doesn't get a chance to shine on the shock this season. Im hoping shock perform better so we see proper popping off even more
Tbh ik its early but i feel spectra for roty he bullied profit and almost carried dreamers to a spot in midseason madness i feel like he changed defiant his echo and tracer r rlly good and if he continues i feel he deserves it
@@skagilter5152 agreed. as biased towards Fielder&ChiYo as I am, still hope they can swap a bit. I think it is possible considering the map pool and new hero. And I do think Vigil is hard benched because of the synergy between Chiyo and Fielder, rather than individual skill. How in-sync they are is just insane.

Like he was 2 and 9 or something. He had 1 really cool 2k and then proceeded to die like 8 times straight. So that may be one reason why Reign are hesitant as well to put him in over just having Chiyo play FS at times

It's between the guy who literally dictated the meta and made Sombra the most valuable hero for like 80%+ of the year, or the guy who carries on Tracer and deals more damage. Or the guy that keeps Donghak perma alive for Reign MVP candidates and those are the reasons

I really feel like people are giving Donghak WAAAYYY too much credit. His performance is mid with huge swings down that brings Atlanta down. Donghak is getting hard carried by the rest of his team.
People be sleepign on Viper I feel like because he's on the Dragons, and for awhile the Dragons weren't winning much of anything. It doesn't mean he hasn't absolutely, 100% been carrying every single match and his impact is far greater than Donghak. Like Donghak is perfectly good main tank... but he is not the most impactful even on his team... where as Viper for sure is, and it's not like he's the only good piece on Dragons, like they have Heesu and Iris.. it's just he's better than all of them.. and he for sure is better than Donghak.. just hard to win when you have a DPS playing Winston for his first ever tank experience in OWL

Shu is still my MVP. I’m still of the opinion that if a team has multiple legit candidates for MVP in a season then none of them should be MVP. Outlaws only legit candidate is Shu with like a really long shot with Fearless. Therefore, I give Shu MVP.
I actually agree with this take. if there are more than one mvp on a team it's usually the teamwork vs leave who was doing it alone, proper who was doing it alone, I think these two are the best MVPs in no order. they were clearly the reason that the team was even remotely relevant. I think there are so many flex supports pounding that I'd love to see a support player win it this year especially (twilight)
