Grand Finals those were like the best games of the season, but idk if there's time for all of those. Might want to throw in some games with random teams just for variety, like the Valiant vs Glads game in week 11 where Valiant brought out the Ashe Torb and Glads players were malding on twitter after the game because of "dishonest comps"
the whole story of the runaway/vancouver squad is super interesting imo. From how they didnt want to join in 2018 because they wanted to stay as a team, to their rivaly with Shock and their greatness in the regular season. Even all the way until they imploded and the org didnt know what to do anymore. This story just has so many interesting points to it that make it all super special
I love this series from Custa, always fun to go back and remember different metas…..but watching this for only 5 minutes and seeing the 19th double grav, shatter, beat, trans, bomb, rally combo makes me remember why watching goats was so boring back then. I’m glad DPS came back.
I hope you review the Shock vs. Outlaws week 1 Match. No one expected the results of that match. And it was a banger. Like it was a real banger of a match.
If you don’t want to watch the 2019 grand finals a great match to watch would be shock vs Atlanta in round one playoffs and the best stage 4 series was Justice vs Vancouver Corey’s insane best Hanzo performance in any match ever
why did that London vs Washington map look exactly like my games in mid masters on eu. you have some insane mechanical players who just don’t give a flying fuck about teamwork and everyone randomly changing heros when they feel like it for no clear reason
I hope we watch NYXL Goats, they played such a different style playing much more passive/reactive with Mano getting huge value with low support. This style was the main reason I became a NYXL fan and I think it’s worth showing an alternative style from the aggressive more dominant style.
I have in mind that Bumper played, like his team wanted him to play. They wanted him to take risks for big plays and to play very aggro overall, because that was the strategy. He was the bait also, like Gestures Hog for Soul Dynasty.
Well goats is just Moba in first person, but I also don’t want a full FPS meta. I think the reason I like overwatch is the fact it was a hybrid Moba fps. People like to discredit the depth of the Moba aspect of the game and only see aim and face value mechanics as earned and fair value. But I think game sense, compositional understanding, ult and cooldown economy should all have its value. I don’t believe that if you have the aim of a god but the brain of a toddler you deserve any more than diamond at most. But compositional understanding and running a better comp should never just shut down a superior players either. But it should have impact, the Moba aspect should stay rewarded, just as much as the fps side. Goats was overkill to the Moba side of the game, but honestly overkill into fps could be even worse.
With news of OW2 beta being released, am I in the minority who is not excited for it? Unless there are some drastic changes we just don’t know about yet, I don’t think the game will play well.
Is anyone else watching these history of overwatch videos during the wait for overwatch 2 and thinking will 5v5 suck. Or am i going a bit crazy and can they just 1 tank 2 dps 2 supports and a flex role
The mentality of "GOATS was boring to watch" is exactly why i think 5v5 OW will be so good. People obviously dont care about team based gameplay and want to watch people individually pop off.

Otherwise Overwatch would be much more popular as an esport and would maybe have retained more viewers throughout the years.
Can we appreciate how easy Londons schedule was. They came 3rd because the highest rated team they fought were the hunters and the hunters finished in 9th for the season. Hey did not fight any of the top 8 teams that season.
I wasn't really watching OWL when goats was meta, so I didn't know too much about it, but after watching this I think it definitely is not as entertaining to watch as role-lock. It is interesting from a strategic stand point, but what you end up watching is really just a lot of tank ults being negated support ults, and team fights always seem to come down to whether or not the zen had transcendence when the Zarya gravs 🤣
I don’t know why the other 18 teams that weren’t Shock and Titans even bothered to play a match. Literally every game could have just been shock vs titans and it would have led to the same result. It was the shock and titans show while the others were playing as a formality. Just throw in the towel and save yourself some dignity. Forfeiting would have made more sense and saved you the stress.
There is something so entertaining about watching someone who knows so much about overwatch.

it’s simple. shock just conditioned titans by hard focusing bumper in stage 1 finals so they could focus haksal instead in stage 2. absolute 5heads

That is the point of Overwatch. It’s a team based resource management fps game. If you just want to watch gun play, go to any other fps title.
