You prolly dont care but does anyone know a way to get back into an instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my login password. I would appreciate any help you can give me!
@Reyansh Tomas I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
IDK if it would be easier for you. But the way I do keepers is, I put a tiny bit of axle grease on the end of a pocket screw driver, stick the keeper in the correct orientation to the grease, and put it into place
I've done that job on a 16 valve kawasaki zxr750 without taking the head off (using the rope trick) The easiest way to get these retainers in is using a magnetised screwdriver and a small dab of grease on the retainer. That way it sticks to the valve and makes this nightmare of a job, not too bad.
Quick question if you can, do you just use the oil the car uses? Seems like a dumb question but also one that could be make or break in my mind so I wanted to know
Not sure if I remember correctly or not, but the drivers side head # of links between the the two cam shaft marks is 15 1/2 links, the Bentley manual is incorrect, I found out the hard way, fortunately fixed it, runs good now...
Did you replace your cam cap bolts? Someone on the Zine is telling me they’re stretch bolts and I should replace them. Just curious what your approach was. I’ve reused stretch bolts in the past for certain things, but I know some are 100% replace and other you can send it. Thanks!
I don’t think those are stretch bolts man. They’re only supposed to be torqued to about 10NM and I doubt it would stretch that easily. In my opinion you’re good to re use them. I always do.
Wasn’t going to be a big benefit with the setup I had. I did do a single turbo build now and that has 2.8 heads with a port matched manifold th-cam.com/video/-fFjwiOMGGA/w-d-xo.html
Now it's mixing oil and water I found even in the turbo charger pipes Soo plz help is it heads or just oil cooler between oil filter and pan plz and give me a FB or email where I can send u pics and contact u for further information plz
Hello brother, can you help me, I need to know how is the sequence to mount the camshafts and the torque of the bridge screws that hold the camshafts please.
Hey man. You should start with the intake camshaft and tighten from the center outwards. It will take about 3 sequences to get the cams down all the way
You forgot to mention the head must be put back to the bottom block before bolting the valve cover, you don't do this on the bench. The plugs are also easier (less damageable) before bolting the cap
Hey Man, Absolutely love the videos you've been putting out nice to see people are still keeping B5 S4s alive!
Thanks man!! Really appreciate the comment and views! I’ll make sure to keep it coming.

@Reyansh Tomas it did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thanks so much, you saved my ass!
Love ur explanations! Please keep doing those tutorials and instructions on how to do it and how much force is needed for every screw!
Thanks!
I'm literally doing the same thing in my garage rn. Cleaning stock valves and everything
Also have the same seals. I work at IE hehe
How’s it going for you? Cause the keeper installs kicked my ass lol
No way!!! That must be an awesome place to work!!

Thanks for the advise! I still have the other head to do so I’ll definitely give it a try.
Btw using grease and the small screw driver made this so much easier.
@@CIPGAS glad I could help. Good luck with the rest of the build.
Great work man.
Good video!
Thanks!

I love all the great work your timing video helped me a lot while changing mine (01 s4 b5 mamba Schwarz )
Glad it helped!!
Maaaannnnnnn!!!!!! I had to do this to my S4 , the keepers were really hard to do. I hope I never have to do this again.
Yeah man it really is a pain in the butt!
Great! helped me a lot
Glad it was able to help!
Wish you showed the chain link count on driver side head it's strange and you didn't talk about silicone at 4 corners
Quick question if you can, do you just use the oil the car uses? Seems like a dumb question but also one that could be make or break in my mind so I wanted to know
Yes. Any oil will work really but ideally use what the car will end up using.

Well luckily your engine is running well.
Did you replace the cam buckets/followers?
No I kept them since they were in good condition
Good Videos! I appreciate your sharing.
Thank you!
Does anyone know the size of the camshaft seal bolts

Do recall what tensioners you used ? OEM or aftermarket?
They were aftermarket Bremmen
What made you not go with the 2.8 heads or 2.8 cams?

Message me on Instagram @4uattros4
Would those valve stem seals fit the 1.8t heads??
They would
@@CIPGAS thank you very much!!

Mentioned at 11:34 in the video.
Sorry, I missed it. The remark about the cam plugs remains valid though 🙂
You didn't mention anything about the cam bearings and or how to decipher replacement requirements....???
There are no bearings for the camshafts.
😂😂 i’m glad you are honest about it though!!!
