I'm just starting out on YT, and my MBPS DL is 350, and the Upload is at 9.5. I just plan to record in OBS for now, so would my Mac be good to use the mp4 recording format with the Apple H264 Hardware Encoder and an 8000 Bitrate? I recorded some NFL videos with the mkv, x264 and a 2500 bitrate. Trying to decide what's better.
@@jaewhiteside For TH-cam, using the mp4 recording format with the Apple H264 hardware encoder and an 8000 bitrate should work well for your videos. This format is widely supported and can provide good video quality for online streaming. Compared to the mkv, x264 format with a 2500 bitrate, the mp4 with Apple H264 at 8000 bitrate should offer better quality and smoother playback on TH-cam. OBS is a popular choice for recording, and your Mac's specifications seem suitable for the task. Just remember to keep an eye on your storage space, as higher bitrates can result in larger file sizes. Good luck with your TH-cam journey!

When i try to record, stream and broadcast on live tv i get a little bit of delay between the real person and the one in the screen. Can you advice on that?
Your videos are very insightful. I tried to find a video before asking but can you make something showing how to incorporate music into your videos so that it’s not so bland. I noticed your intro video id the only musical piece in this video but what’s your opinion on this?
I can consider a video on the topic! I actually have music throughout the entirety of the video, it's just very soft so that it never over powers the main content or my voice.
May you please make a video on how to capture PS5 game chat with the “Røde Streamer x” I heard it’s all in one now, you don’t have to use multiple microphones
I don't understand how based on your upload speed and that chart you made you figured out the correct bitrate for your encoder settings. I feel like I'm missing some math you did. My average upload speed is 10Mbps and I'm typically recording in 4k but could downgrade that to 1080p is needed. Any advice?
Recording and streaming bitrates can be two separate things. Recording can be as high as you need depending on your computer specs. Streaming you are at the mercy of your upload speed and computer.
