Unless i missed it, the UNSC Majestic was not mentioned, granted its unknown what kind of Destroyer the Majestic is. It did come into play during the Fall of Reach, destroying three Covenant cruisers with 6 shots and presumably killing Spartan Team Beta-Red on the ground.
Technically yes, but insurrectionists, like spies and terrorists, are not protected by the geneva convention or most of the laws of warfare. As they are not a uniformed army.
@@cookiecraze1310 Sword names are for fighters, Destroyers use polearms, Pollaxe-class, Guisarme-class or Voulge-class are better. Maybe even Bardiche-class. Need some consistency with names, starting now!
About the AI thing, most human-covenant war ships were able to house AIs the expensive part they could not afford to get was the AI itself, it is mentioned several time that wartime frigates and destroyers were AI-capable and sometimes have one, either an assigned one or a certain Cortana taking over the empty slot when needed.
Awesome video! Personally, I have fallen in love with the Paris-class ever since Halo: Reach. Ship's so majestic. It's like a giant Desert Eagle or a Desert Eagle if it was a ship.
If I remember correctly in the book Fall of Reach Keyes regrets not have an A.I. onboard when he was the commander of the UNSC Iroquois which was a Halberd-class
Never play Halo but the lore about the UNSC ships intrigues me. The refit Diligence look like something made out of desperation. The Halberd deserves a worthy successor.
The Hillsborough was a missed opportunity by the UNSC, IMHO. The ship could have been reworked to pack more armor, speed, and firepower, but the navy just sat on its ass and did nothing. Had Hillsboroughs been given the rework they deserve, they would have been the primary damage dealers of the navy, most likely leading heavy frigate flotillas. Heck, I daresay that the capital ships that the UNSC are very afraid of losing would not have been lost since most of them would be hanging back, acting as C&C centers for naval battles and/or taking potshots if the opportunity presents itself. Picture it, a reworked Hillsborough (Hillsborough I) with a more potent MAC system able to let off three rounds, provisions for an underslung weapons module (either another MAC ala Diligence class refit, extra missile batteries, a Halberd-class being "piggy-backed", an ODP, or a refit station ready to be "dropped and used"). A Hillsborough II would be adding "wings" that the Paris and its lighter versions have and each wing having provisions for underslung weapons or cargo carrying capacity, meaning more firepower and the engine section being more armored. A Hillsborough III would be the incorporation of DEWs as shield strippers, a more better organic MAC armament, more turrents, more missiles, and shielding similar to what the Infinity has. A Hillsborough IV would most likely be the class upsized to have the 2/4ths or same payload carrying capacity that a Halcyon-class cruiser has, and a more better powerplant. Hillsborough Vs would be the incorporation of a successful replication of the covenant ship "bubble shield", even more defensive turrets, having the ability to underslung two weapons modules on the main fuselage, a better DEW, and an even longer-ranged MAC.
Dude, you gotta do a video on the stealth ships, not just prowlers, I’ve never seen anyone break down the Hannibal Stealth Frigate and it’s one of my all time favs. Great video!

For the Chinese architecture on an alien world that easy enough to explain since I’m pretty sure halo legend came out in the bungie era and bungie planned to make the human and forerunners the same species make sense to assume that it actually a forerunner world and it look different to the halo ring cause it not a military installation? Yep. The UNSC debated over whether to decorate or court-martial Cole for it, but ultimately did neither. They tried to sweep the whole thing under the rug, but it became the catalyst for the Insurrection.
Even though the Hillsborough is outdated compared to wartime ships, I love the way it looks. Kinda wish it got an upgrade, but those Frigates are just too damn good to justify wasting the resources.

Yeh that's kinda the point of 40k, everything is more powerful so nothing is. Halo also is generally more realistic, so it's no surprise that ships that have many times stronger weapons, universal shields and just are like 3 times larger can beat Halo ships

Cole’s attacking the rebels under a banner of surrender is a war crime. It’s nothing to be proud of.

Pods, not silo, right? The missile pods contain several missile silos, if I’m not mistaken.
For newer ships, yes, for that terrible and old Destroyer its specifically listed as "7x Ares Missile Silos" in the Cole Protocol.
