Yup, enjoy every minute the Lord gives us. Soon enough, we'll turn around and ask where did that decade go. Tim is absolutely our most precious possession.

Your property is starting to look really good. It takes a while and lots of hard work to get it the way that you want it. Don't forget to stop at Rosie's Diner and treat yourself to a great breakfast when you come through Esky. Take care.Todd from da U.P.

How are you doing Todd? Yep whenever you take some thing that’s in a little disrepair and start to put it back. It takes some elbow grease and time, but it eventually starts to look pretty nice. Once I get the grounds taken care of, I will be ready to start on the cabin. And yes, Rosies is always a good place to stop.

Senor Hormel's canned tamales are the best. Muy delicioso!

I love them when I was a kid, but next time I go up, I will be cooking. I’m going to take the time to make real food lol.

Dont want to spend all your time working and forget to enjoy the reason why you have the cabin in the first place

Ain’t that the truth. I took a little bit of time in the afternoon on two or three days and enjoyed Lake superior. I grew up on that lake back in the 60s and 70s. It’s amazing all the thoughts that run through your head of bygone days and time, that seem as fresh as yesterday morning when you walk along that shoreline.

@@remoteandrestless that’s what the plan is. My goal is to take a run down old hunting camp and transform it into a nice off grid cabin that we can use anytime throughout the year to hang out and enjoy the quietness and beauty of Michigan’s upper peninsula. It has a working well and I will add a solar system for power and when it’s finished, it should be a great little place to enjoy.

@safarijoesadventures sounds perfect. If your like me, the building is almost as much fun as hunting and fishing so I have to plan time for each

@@remoteandrestless right! I enjoy my hunting and fishing and vacationing very much but I have a construction background and I love building projects and mechanical projects and I enjoy doing DIY‘s as much as I enjoy everything else. I’m really enjoying myself doing this work up there now that I have the mosquitoes under control lol.
