- Join me as I share my thoughts on Falcon's Flight, the tallest, fastest and longest roller coaster in the world coming to Six Flags Qiddiya in Saudi Arabia! In this video I take a detailed look at this HUGE coaster, including talking about the new train design created by Intamin. Following that I talk about the official animation for Falcon's Flight along with my reaction. This impressive coaster will stand at over 640ft tall, have over 13,000ft of track and reach speeds of 156mph!

Correction: The tallest part of the ride (640ft) will actually be the top of the drop, with the huge tophat coming in as the second tallest element on the ride. Crazy stats!

It feels like the kind of ride that will forever be closed with issues. a 100mph uphill LSM launch up to a cliff-edge drop has problems written all over it!
Saudi Arabia though....I'm sorry but not even an 800ft high coaster is getting me to visit that place.

@@ThemeParkWorldwide You'd like to think so but I'm not convinced the Saudi regime want to change. I don't think you can even hold hands in public or stay in the same hotel room yet unless you're married to the person. Gay people can literally forget it. They aren't welcome.
It's a real shame that this amazing feat of engineering is going to be located there. Hope it's a massive flop personally and suspect it probably will be similar to the parks in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
@@solskjaer1195I agree with you I don’t think things will change. Yes - you can’t show public affection but they’re relaxing the rules about being able to share a hotel room if you’re not married. I’ve been to Ferrari world in Dubai. It was quiet.
If WWE and other organizations can do business with Saudi Arabia then this is a step in the right direction. This coaster is the stuff of dreams and enthusiasts will have an unforgettable experience.

It's undoubtedly one of, if not the single most exciting coaster to be built of all time.
But it's certainly also one of the most controversial. Its location is very unfortunate

After all the problems Dollywood has had with Lightning Rod, good luck with launched lift that's twice as fast, 6x as long, and in the desert heat.
I saw Forumla Rossa in person recently, and its speed is INSANE! Not sure I'll be brave (or stupid haha) enough for this new roller coaster!

I rode it and I must say, people don't understand that record speed rides should have graceful, floaty, swooping elements. Not only for comfort, but also for structural integrity

I just feel like Saudi and the UAE take the fun out of things. They just go a little too extreme with things because they’ve got an unlimited budget. Maybe I’m just salty because I won’t ever go there to ride it 😂
Yeah, I find it hard to get excited over something like this. I can't help wondering about the conditions of the workers who build it. I mean I don't actually know any specific information on that, relating to this project, but I've got a bad feeling about it. I sometimes wish I was sweet and innocent enough to just be excited about the cool coaster.
A 640ft high air time hill sounds great. Going 156mph through the desert when its 40-50c outside.

Why? You gonna fly across the world and cover your wife and daughter, and give money to a regime who support terrorists? Just for a rollercoaster? I don't want to sound like an American with a "it should be built here" mentality. But it should be built somewhere in the weastern world. Hopefully the coaster isn't destroyed by a bombing within 6 months.
Hard to even fathom what this ride is going to be like. Almost 3 miles of track, 640 foot tall, 156mph... absolutely insane. A bit scary to be honest. So much force on that track.
I think the owner of the park went mad and built this on coaster planet and thought you know what I’m gunna build this in real life 😂😂😂
Wow, very impressive, looking forward to seeing you ride this beast! It would be great to see a vlog where you visit one of the coaster manufacturers and do a bit of a deep-dive about how they design, manufacture and test these amazing coasters. I’m interested in what the G force is gonna be on this thing, Formula Rossa has very delicate track layout yet it still puts 4.8G on its riders. I think Falcon’s Flight will have quite a lot of trim brakes in order to make a good layout as it would probably be too intense without them.

I used to make fantasy roller coasters in No Limits that would look like this with a insane cliff drop. With the emphases on "Fantasy'. This is insane to be real.

A coaster like this would be a perfect fit for a theme park mostly in "West Virginia" due the states mountainous terrains, but it depends on how much land there is available.

Will be no alcholhol in Saudi, so no dutch courage option before the ride
In theory the cliff drop should not count as the height record, the cammel back should. If you include the cliff drop, the you can build an alpine coaster that only gets about 3m high, but has an elevation change of 2km if someone really wanted to build 1 that long.
I would calculate the difference between the train station and highest point. It doesn't matter to me if the lift hill is built on a hill or is supported by pillars.
Record blabbering or not that hill should be built how it is to fit the natural environment bro that’s that appeal of it!

I think one of the best elements is that turn that just sticks out off the top of the cliff that banks you outwards not sure on technical term. But that looks terrifying id imagine you arnt going to fast around it.

The element is called a reverse bank turn. Hanging sideways off a mountain is a pretty cool idea.

Its like 3 coasters in 1. Maverick for the start. Kingda ka for the cliff part then formula rossa for the last 3rd. It really does look insane im not sure i could do it but would love to just watch it.

I just looked up the average daily maximum temperature in the area. From May to September it gets very hot. Better for indoor activities during those months I think.
That is why we have Riyadh Season from Oct. to Mar. Plus, we do not hit the streets until 4pm and go to 3am.

With all those record breaking I'm surprised they didn't throw 15 inversion into it and break that record too! The layout seems long enough for the inversions not to be too cumbersome

Most likely this ride will need multiple trims to deal with the g forces at such a high heat compared to most countries and rides currently to make it safe

Could you imagine if they built something like this in the UK? Like a mountain coaster in Wales or Scotland, it would be amazing. The problem is, we will have to keep on imagining because, unfortunately, it will likely never happen.
The good news is that although we may not ruin a landscape with a coaster like this in the UK, women are allowed to drive, to be properly educated and control of their own bodies. Also, we are able to express freedoms when it comes to sexuality in the UK, and our journalists are able to operate and hold our government to account without threat of torture and murder.
I think we get the best deal.

Like I always say Intamin will build you crazy if you order crazy. 🤪 Hopefully they have the g-forces figured out and people don't black out at 150mph. All joking aside this will be an incredible feat of engineering and quite a sight to see in person.

I feel like this coast is future content, for those TH-cam channels. About failed (problematic) rides and parks.
can't help thinking that this might cause a hell of a lot of blackouts due to the speed and g-forces that are going to be experienced on this and having worked with saudi naval forces who don't go out for tests when there is a ripple on the seas can't see this being in use much
My thoughts and a few watches of this new coaster I thought this was all made up but no it’s happening in real life. This is going to be a huge challenge for all the thrill seekers out there.

The first launch/lift is around 230ft. The "airtime" hill is actually around 540ft with the drop of the cliff being 640ft. about 350ft of that "drop" is just the slope with LSM's. Also i noticed the lap-bars on the train are carbon fibre.

@@tjp_lincs7336 at the base of the main drop maybe grey outs. But I don't think they'll hold gs for long enough for blackouts. Would have been designed out of the ride

Massive project they're undertaking! Love the train. Shame it's in Saudi Arabia for the uh...obvious reasons. They can have such feats of modern engineering, hopefully means they can modernize in terms of acceptance 🙃

Shawn my biggest worry is, is this coaster gonna be safe like are they gonna be trimming the drops to make sure it goes at a reasonable speed and not too fast and also with the part on top of the cliff if that is a launch I wonder how reliable that could be, because we know how lightning rod went those are my two biggest concerns are right there
It’ll definitely be safe. It’ll undergo many tests before anyone even steps onto it!
