    The cupholders are not useless at all, they are a very smart idea to integrate them like that and can be used without any issue.

    Love your Porsche 997 I like it more better and did the 997 turbo I don’t like the spoiler on the turbo and plus it’s too fast to basic model one you can enjoy better on turns and winding roads and it’s more classic clean lines and you can’t beat a black porch classy and timeless drive it in good health Two thumbs up

    the cop holders are pretty iconic and overengineered and work great, use them if you still have the car lol

    Are you going to do a review of the Dragon hammer voltz?

    • @118gt9
      @118gt9  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      BIGGBULLxxx I would like to but will need to buy the car...🤷🏻‍♂️ is not a lot different the original dragon tho... obviously battery powered.

    • @BIGGBULLxxx
      @BIGGBULLxxx 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      118 GT ...i figure the weight difference May make it handle much more better than with the weight of a gasoline engine, and besides your viewers would like to know the run time from it and the top speed, and the weight difference vs. The gas model weight. But like you said you would have to buy it and buy the different type of batteries. But from your Porsche video it seems as if your headed in another direction...away from RC cars huh?

    • @118gt9
      @118gt9  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      BIGGBULLxxx yes mainly due to time... I seem to spend more time maintaining,modding and cleaning them. Is always an all day affair for me if I take them out. And I seem to be spending all my time working as well. Cars is my only direction in the way of videos as is something I have always been involved with. Thanks for the support tho!!! Really happy to have you as a sub 👍😃

    Thats a gen 1 right? Gen 2 started being produced 2012 didnt they?

    • @118gt9
      @118gt9  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi There Johan Thanks for your msg. That is actually Gen 2 car, the give away is the black surround on the PCM and the corner of the rear lights are curved upwards. Gen 2 997s are produced from 2009 to 2012. 991 production started in 2012.

      @@118gt9 also the gen 1 didn't come with the led drls the front design bumper is different. Btw this is the 911 generation that got me into porsches. Dad wanted a porsche since he was a kid and finally bought a 997.2 carrera 4s and I'm now a porsche fan... he is also on an 18 month ban for speeding in his porsche

    Easiest way to distinguish a 997.2 is the different tail light shape than a 997.1

    • @PorscheCayenneS
      @PorscheCayenneS 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      That‘s right. 997.1 taillights can be switched to LED. Still, the shape remains the same.
