Sydney Water Police encounter August 2021

*PLEASE READ FIRST*
I’ve always had a very positive view of NSW water police
Because they’ve helped me out many a time
Including last year, towing my Atomix from the Bridge
All the way to Riverview ramp on the Lane Cove River
So don’t read too much into this video 😊
The reason I’m posting it is because, on Saturday night
Channel 7 really let us down
I gave them the videos for the 6:00 News
Thinking they would at least mention the absurdity
Of not being able to fish solo, or with family members
in your own boat
but instead they played the blame game on anglers
Utterly pathetic effort by 7 News Sydney.
It’s okay for those living near the water
But most of our readers are out west, away from the salt
And it’s very frustrating for those addicted to fishing
And under mental stress from this whole situation
I think at the very least
The NSW government should review these regulations
And if they’re not prepared to reconsider
Should refund boat and trailer registrations
For as long as we are under restrictions
